Simple check in, no stressful checkout requirements. Nice, clean, quiet area. The fireplace controls didn't seem to work properly and more keys would have been nice, but all in all we had a very nice time.
We had a wonderful 4 night stay in Chiloquin. Check in process was smooth, everything was as advertised in photos. Some of the highlights of the property…kayaks for guest use, an electric grill since gas/charcoal is not permitted in the area, well stocked kitchen, games and movies to choose from, and it was great to have air conditioning throughout the house as we caught quite a heat wave while in the area. Lots of outdoor seating to relax in the evening. Great quiet neighborhood. I would love to leave 5 starts but being a host myself, the space would definitely benefit from a deep clean. Main surfaces were clean but at closer look in the kitchen and bathrooms, it needs a deeper clean considering it’s a home for families and pets.

This Chalet was awesome! Plenty of room everything you needed to cook your own meals. Clean house with comfortable beds in a quiet area. Owner was very responsive when we had a question. Easy walk to the beautiful lake lots of birds to watch. Great dark sky for star gazing. We used this as our base camp to explore Crater lake and it was perfect for our group.
My family and I stayed two nights so we could visit Crater Lake. We had a lovely relaxing stay. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bathrooms had plenty of towels for everyone. We enjoyed watching the sunset by the lake and even saw some bald eagles flying around. Very quiet location and only about 40 minutes to Crater Lake.
Staying at this house was awesome. It was close to the places we wanted to visit, and comfortable and cozy to come back to. It had everything we needed, and watching the sunset by the lake was incredible! Overall, wow!
Pretty Nice home and quiet neighborhood, we enjoyed our stay and it was nice to find a place that takes pets, I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to bring your pets and feel comfortable while your in the home
The property was perfect and beautiful. Great location! Watched a scary movie in the evening with their DVD/ movie collection. The king size bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the utensils I needed. Ended up seeing an eagle right after sunrise. Wish I was staying more days and would absolutely come back again!
Kitchen had everything you could want. House gets a lovely breeze which helped keep bugs away. Couldn't get grill to work, that was the only issue. Great stay!
We enjoyed ot stay at the Chalet while visiting Crater Lake National Park. It's in a rural and rustic setting- very peaceful. House was well equipped and generally clean although we noticed some spider webs here and there.
Great stay. Host was super helpful. We loved the little private beach down the road and the use of kayaks. People in town were nice but I do recommend getting groceries in Klamath Falls before arriving. Would definitely stay here again!
first off the place was very clean and very well kept. the only reasons this is not getting a 5 star is because . 1.) the fire place inside does not work idk if just broken or gas is not hooked up. 2.) we had planed on BBQing some food when we got there but when we got there the was a list of rules 1 of them being NO BBQing or fires outside and no where did it say anything about this online. 3.) a large part of the place is private and u cannot walk or go. so once u get there not much to do with no fires BBQ or walking anywhere very far. all in all i dont think it was worth the 350$ we spent but thats just me. If just going for the night and if it was cheaper it would be great.
Our family of 4 had a wonderful time!! The house was much larger than anticipated. My girls screamed “it’s a treehouse” when they saw their room! Highly recommend!!
The property was nestled between pine trees and just a minute walk to the lake. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the lake, but they do have two single kayaks you can use. I would recommend that you bring your own food to cook since there isn’t a lot of restaurants in the area. They have a electric grill you can use to grill burgers on or a full kitchen. The place is also close to Crater Lake and other National Parks. I recommend you go explore! We loved hearing and seeing the bald eagles around the property. Just keep an eye on your little pooch :) Management was so incredibly communicative and friendly! Especially their son Nolan. He was so friendly, helpful and fun to talk to. We had a really nice time.
