Cozy little cabin in the woods we enjoyed.
Mattie keeps a clean and tidy cabin and her husband Nate was very accommodating. We will be looking forward to visiting again.

Lovely cabin in a gorgeous area
The cabin is just great with comfy bed, kitchen, & fabulous deck. We rode bikes right from the cabin. We watched the turkeys and enjoyed a visit from the brown lab!

Perfect cabin for two close to lots of activities!
The cabin was definitely cozy, yet had all the amenities for a comfortable stay! We did some hiking and prepared some meals at the cabin. Wish we could've used the deck more but the weather didn't cooperate. We would stay here again!

Perfect quiet getaway, still close to shops and restaurants
We really enjoyed our stay, didn't want to leave so soon. The deck was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air. Everything was just as described. The hosts were so nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

An amazing, tucked-away gem with all the amenities!
We were looking for a comfortable place that wasn't in the middle of the holiday madness around Glacier National Park, and this was the perfect choice. Mattie ensures everything is fully stocked, and you can even rent bear spray to take on your hikes. She was super responsive to all our questions and made sure we were settled in well. We'd definitely come back next time we hike in the area!

Peaceful vacation
The Cabin was even better than advertised, updates, more roomy than it appear. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was very nice, lots of hot water and really good pressure. But the hosts were so very nice, accommodating, yet did not crowd us at all. They gave us suggestions for fishing, eating out and cool shopping areas. They were so kind to us and our dog Oreo. We would definitely stay here again. Don’t miss out on this one!!

Great Stay!
This cabin was cozy and had a close-to-home feeling. The owners have obviously put some TLC into the place; a combination of rustic yet updated made us feel comfortable kicking our shoes off and having a beer at the end of the day. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was great for making breakfast and dinner on the days we didn't feel like going out to eat. Close to the town of Bigfork, Swan River, state parks, Flathead Lake, and hiking trails makes this cabin the perfect location for vacationers who love the outdoors. The hospitality was second to none, and the owners were welcoming of our dogs and young baby. We would definitely consider coming back!

Cute cabin for Two
The cabin is very cozy and perfect for two people. it's located close to Flathead Lake and Bigfork and there are lots of fun things to do close by. The cabin fits two people comfortably and has everything you could need. The only thing lacking is that there is no air conditioning. It wasn't a major problem but it would have been nice during the week of August that we stayed there. Mattie is very helpful and friendly and made our stay very comfortable.

Excellent except for kitchen
My friend, her dog and I stayed for 5 nights in this cute cabin in the woods. Overall it was excellent! We loved the decor, the giant deck with comfy chairs, the bathroom, the nice bed and linens, the pet friendliness. But just a few suggestions for the kitchen, please: add a kettle, more cutlery, more pots, better use of food storage areas, and a full size fridge. Thanks, Mattie. We’ll be back!

Super cute cabin! Perfect for our mini honeymoon. The only con is that we thought it was going to be a little more secluded. Which wasn’t a big deal. It was a delightful weekend. The cabin was clean and had a comfortable bed. The hosts seemed very nice. Pet friendly, and they were even ok with us leaving her alone in cabin while we went to dinner. We got back and lounged on the patio chairs while watching a little firework show. We will definitely be back

Short of description. Disappointed
Refrigerator not cleaned, with dried liquid spills on shelves and bottom. Gas smell in cabin when windows shut. We had to leave two windows cracked open. Stains on carpet in front of entry. Generally unkept. Location less than desirable. Travel lodge a couple miles away a much better value.

A bit disappointed
We were a bit disappointed in the cleanliness and maintenance of the cabin. There were dead bugs in the bathroom light fixture, and both the tub and sink drain plugs didn't work. We expected it to be "cozy" but there was no place to sit and relax...2 straight-back chairs and a very small table and a small bench at the foot of the bed. Maybe the biggest issue was that either we didn't see it when we booked or it wasn't listed but would have loved to know that it was a pet-friendly cabin. My wife is allergic to cats and some dogs. She had to take double allergy meds for the 4 days there and had some breathing issues. Very unlikely we will use this cabin again.

Not what we expected
The owners are very nice and welcoming, and easy to work with. I will say that the pictures were exactly what the place looked like, but the pictures make the place look much bigger than it actually is. We were expecting a queen bed and a futon. I have 2 little girls, so the futon was going to be fine for them. We showed up and it was just a small queen. When I walked in, all I could smell was wet dog. The place had been closed up for a while and the stench was pretty bad. There was only a tiny fan and 3 small windows to circulate air. It took quite awhile to help the smell. When I walked in there is a tiny couch, I thought that might be the pull out sleeper as advertised, nope just a 1 person couch. I moved the sheet they had covering it, and the amount of dog hair was pretty gross. THe front lock doesn't lock. We left for the day, locked up and left. When we got back my 5 year old let herself in by wiggling the front door handle until it unlocked itself and she opened the door without a key. None of the windows/ window screens make a good seal, so sleeping with the windows open let in a bunch of mosquitos. Its way too hot in there, even with the super tiny fan running, to not have the windows open. We moved the bed over to make room for my girls to sleep on the floor, and one of the electrical outlets is broken, so its only half an outlet, and they had duck tape covering the broken half. That didn't make me feel very safe and that a spontaneous fire wouldn't start. Very dangerous. In the kitchen there was hand soap to hand wash dishes with, and a used old sponge to wash my dished with. Gross. I had to go buy a new one for our use. The the hand soap left a weird taste and smell on the dishes, that you could really notice when using the drinking glasses. And I had to ask for my refundable damage deposit back a week later. Which should have been returned after checking out.

Great outdoor space on the deck
The cabin was a great little place that met all of our needs. It is located in a nice forested area with lots of shade. Nice big deck for hanging out and BBQ. The location is conveniently located. It is a quick drive to the state park on Flathead Lake. The owner was very helpful. It was awesome that we were able to have our two dogs with us.

Close to all the mountain biking trails we wanted to ride, it was a fantastic location. Highly recommend!

Cute cabin for two
We enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin! It was very conveniently located to Big Fork and outdoor activities. Easy check in and communication with owners. It had all the amenities for a comfortable stay for two people. The reason for 4 stars is that the cabin had a bad odor every time we entered. We kept the windows open.

Peaceful rest
The cabin is what you see. It is small & the kitchen makes heavy cooking a little challenging. However the setting is gorgeous, the deck is big, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area, the bed is comfortable. Most importantly the host was very communicative as our trip neared but then left us to ourselves once we were onsite. We would stay here again.

Cottage near Bigfork
This cottage is as advertised-a small cottage in the woods. It consists of one room which is the bedroom and a bathroom and kitchen. There is a large deck which becomes the main place to hang out if the weather is good as the bedroom doesn't have much other space.

We are a young family, who are adventure seekers. We moved to Bigfork (from Missoula), to be closer to the things we love to do as a family. Whether it's hiking, skiing, fishing, floating, climbing, cycling, or camping, we love to be out there doing it and showing our kids how great the outdoors can be. We want other people and families to be able to create their own adventures while visiting.

Why they chose this property

We immediately fell in love with this area when we visited this property. The openness we have to let our littles explore, but mainly the ACCESS we have to all the things we love to do.

What makes this property unique

ACCESS to all the great adventures right in our neighborhood. We ourselves are explorers, we want everyone to have their own unique experience and love to share some of our favorite spots with guests. There is something for everyone.
