This place was dirty and extremely dusty. The upstairs tongue and groove flooring was separating which could cut your feet and split enough to see into the downstairs master bathroom. The master bedroom and bathroom didn’t have blinds just sheer curtains. There were cobwebs everywhere and whoever cleaned the house before we got there swept all the dust/dirt/trash from the floor into the corner of the master closet. I’m not sure why we had to pay for a cleaning fee because the house wasn’t clean. I will not stay here again.
Very nice, newer log home. Very open, lots of room, and nice covered balcony. Everything we needed was stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. Property is very quiet with lots of deer in the mornings and evenings. Nice rental for couples or families. Highly recommended.
This place is the guest house of the owner. Her house is above it. It felt very secluded. One thing to remember if you stay at this house that the door on the large patio can and will lock you out if you don't pay attention. It was a lovely stay and would definitely stay again.
The property was amazing inside and out. Owner answered promptly when contacted about early check-in and was very accommodating. Pictures do not do this cabin the justice it deserves.
Tucked back in a quiet neighborhood with only one visible neighbor and a great view of the San Juan national park. A small deer herd visited twice a day. Great place to relax or set off for day trips into the National park for a great deal of outdoor activities. I recommend the drive to visit Mesa Verde National Park as well as all of the awesome Colorado breweries in Pagosa and Durango. The home had everything we needed and the low light pollution made the stars particularly visible at night.

THE BEST
We got exactly what was advertised. The pictures does this beauty of a cabin no justice. The cabin was beautiful inside and out. Everything was perfect. The grandkids say its the best vacation ever. You wont find a better place to stay for this price. Very cozy and comfortable. Has a coffee pot, pots and pans, skillets and all kitchen utensils.Towels, toilet tissue and an awesome wood burning stove. Devina was the best host ever. She made herself available if needed and texted daily to ensure nothing was needed. We will definitely share this beautiful home and the kindness of Devina with others.

About the host
Hosted by Sherry
I am originally from Texas and fell in love with the cooler summers, the mountain views, wildlife, slower pace of life along with all the natural beauty that SW Colorado offers.
Why they chose this property
The place is secluded, and peaceful. The balcony in the summer is a great place to hang out in the morning, and drink your coffee while Hummingbirds visit in the nearby feeders. We also have lots of wildlife come through our property from deer to black bears.
