Affordable and adequate
We stayed here for the second time in 3 years. It’s not luxurious but it’s affordable. 5 min walk to the beach. Kitchen could use more/better utensils and pots/pans.

Overall Good but Could Use Some Updates
We overall really loved our stay! Great location and easy walk to the beach and not far from restaurants and shopping. BUT the beds/mattresses were really hard and could use some padding or new mattresses. The furniture and blinds also had stains on them. The sliding screen door kept falling apart for no reason. The flooring had some spacing in it! The toilet seat had fallen off. Just some things that could use updates but wasn’t a deal breaker for us! We would come back!

Great location but property is rundown
We love this condo community because it’s so close to the beach and quick drives to restaurants, shopping and attractions. The pools are nice too however the condos themselves need painted and maintained better. This property is rundown and needs a healthy dose of TLC. Deck slider door and screen are barely working, which is a safety issue. The washer and dryer are beat up. The on suite shower stall appears new but the area around the walls are unfinished and gross and the shower head is broken. Both toilets ran constantly. The furniture doesn’t match the rooms, too big and out of place. Main bedroom headboard not attached to bed properly. Living room sofa so stained and nasty we covered with a blanket all week. Main clock on wall was broken, thought it was battery so I changed that, nope clock was just broken. Every room’s TV installation was funky. Supplies were great for bathroom towels and paper. Plenty of dishes and kitchen gear to make things. I suggest owners spend money fixing up the property and it’d be really nice. A little work and money will go a long way. There was a guest book there and an entry from last year said EXACTLY what I’ve said here. It was amazing that a year later their suggestions were ignored and I have to repeat them here.

Have stayed in numerous Crystal Village Condos, love the location and the pool area. I was not happy with how dirty the condo was on our arrival. The floors in all the rooms were dirty and the rugs were not cleaned or vacumned. The overall condo just wasnt very clean.

Good as always.
We’ve stayed with this owner several years now because we love the location and design of these rentals. This time was no exception. We did stay in a different unit then normal and had a few minor hiccups but nothing we couldn’t work around. First, the pull out couch was busted and unusable and looks as if the sheets were never cleaned on it. The pots and pans weren’t the cleanest. The master bath had wallpaper peeling and the spare bath had the toilet seat broken. The porch had some loose floor beams as well. I feel maybe the owner should check on why the maintenance manager and cleaning people aren’t checking these items regularly. Other than those few things we enjoyed our stay. Those issues were easy to work around and we still managed just fine. I have pictures of issues if the owner would like them at any point for maintenance. Location is awesome and just a few blocks from the beach but know that the pompano joes access parking fills up FAST!

Property location was good. Pots and pans were disgusting! Wall paper in bathrooms were peeling off the walls. No TV for almost two days because of Internet/TV connection! Condo definitely needs a makeover. With all said I was disappointed with my accomodations especially with it being a Father/Daughter trip!! Honestly...I feel that I should be refunded at least half of my stay. You can't take back this experience especially with it was suppose to be a special trip with my Daughter! Thanks for anything you can do to make it happen especially with me trying to book future trips!

Ok but won’t choose it again
The location of the property is great. Close to the beach, restaurants and what we were there for. However the condo lacked luster. Had visible damage like missing cabinet door in bathroom, flooring needing repair, furniture appear dirty/stained, the list could go on. The pictures do not shows the wear and tear this condo has received. With a good makeover this would be a fantastic condo and we would choose it again. But not in its current state.

The good: Good location, 5 min from the beach. close to the pool. fully equipt kitchen The bad: 1. the owners are not answering messages 2. The rooms and bath were not clean (dirty pillow covers, hairs in the bathroom) 3. The AC was closed when we arrived, and it was unpleasant to enter the place 4. no staff to take to the beach (cart, chairs, etc)

Nice location, easy walk to the beach!
The location is super convenient. Less than a 10 min walk to the beach which was great so we didn’t have to deal with parking or getting sand in our car. I like that it’s not super crowded in this area but you can still drive 10 min in either direction and do the touristy stuff. Id definitely book in this area again in the future. Having access to a washer and dryer in the unit and the ability to cook was so so helpful! Parking is tight for this unit if you have a bigger vehicle. The unit needs a real deep clean. The sheets and towels appeared clean so that wasn’t a major concern but everything else needs a wipe down. The air filter needs changed badly and it looked like no one had cleaned the lint trap in months. Idk how it was drying clothes. No batteries in the smoke detector either 😬 the bathroom rugs need washed and the master tub needs some attention before it gets worse. For the price I’d still recommend staying here! You can’t get a hotel this cheap and having the ability to do laundry with a family on vacation is great.

Good Location
Check in was easy and the place was clean. The let out couch was VERY uncomfortable and my son was unable to sleep on it. He ended up sharing the bunk beds with his sisters. The knob on bathroom door was broken and I let the manager know but never got a response. The drain in the master bath was really slow and the unit could use some updating (bathroom rugs, couch, some dresser drawers were off track). Overall, this unit accommodated my family of 5 and we enjoyed ourselves. Really close to the pool and the beach wasn’t too far. It served its purpose and was a great price.

Our booking was easy, the property manager was very responsive. The condo decent. We have stayed at Crystal Village before, but in a different unit. This one could use some updating. The washer was loud and squealed, but did it’s job. Quite a few of the dishes were still dirty when we pulled them out of the cabinet/drawer. The trash drop off was pretty far from our unit so that was a little confusing. Overall our stay was decent. The pools were nice, the place was quiet and felt safe.

Comfortable Stay
We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was clean and safe and accommodated our family of 5. There was nothing fancy about the condo but it met our needs. Close proximity to the pool and within 7 minutes to the beach. The only negative was the couch was not comfortably for sitting but we weren’t in the condo much. Plenty of towels, cooking utensils, etc. The cookware could use an upgrade but we made do. We actually wanted to extend our stay but there was no availability beyond the dates we booked. For the price and location of this unit we will return!

Disappointing property/wonderful location
Tired property…needs some love, a quality carpenter, a professional painter and some proper cleaning. Wish I could include pics for reference. I read previous reviews and took the complaints with a grain of salt. Honest reviews regarding lack of cleanliness were totally disregarded by Shaun as he replies with ‘sorry if the cleanliness wasn’t up to your standards’. Shaun, I’m sorry that the cleanliness IS up to your standards, and the carpentry! Re: flooring installation, trim and master bath overall. In the first couple of days, we spent some time cleaning things, windows too, washing rugs and bedspreads (gross),changing lightbulbs and the furnace filter. Still, the outdated smoke detectors need replacing. I let Shaun know this and he didn’t bother to respond. However, he did respond a couple days later when I contacted him about the cockroach problem and wanted to discuss a refund. He sent an exterminator out and we treated the property ourselves and a few days later we were finding dead roaches in the bakeware. Wash the dishes before using! His other properties are apparently equally disappointing as another renter was telling us their issue with roaches and cleanliness. Yes, people talk by the pool and compare experiences. Fortunately we all had a sense of humour and some had rented these units before and know enough not to make the same mistake twice. They now return yearly to other units in Crystal Villas at a significantly cheaper rate. Miramar Beach was fabulous as was the pool at this property. We didn’t let the many shortcomings of this rental take away from our wonderful vacation but we all agreed that 2 weeks would have been plenty in the area to see everything. Our first time as renters. Lesson learned, and we’re thankful for the experience.

Christmas Getaway
We love to spend the week between Christmas and New Years at the beach. I just stumbled across this listing, and it was the perfect price and location for us! The unit was clean and quiet. It had everything we needed plus some extras that weren’t mentioned in the listing (i.e. beach items, board games). It’s a great location, and it’s convenient to everything you want to do while you’re in the area. We had a great time during our stay! The Radfords Athens, GA

Great location and condo!!
The condo was clean, and the couch is actually a pull out bed. Has a stackable washer and dryer too which was nice. Both rooms were spacious and windows let the light in nicely. Balcony was nice when day was cooler to open. Pool was right downstairs from condo. Overall great place to rent.
