Heaven on earth!
Overall I believe we couldn’t have asked for more. For the most part it was a lovely setting, including the cabin itself. All communications were clear as a bell. The only caveat was, although the cabin overall was clean. The living room had two soiled place Matt’s on the coffee table with crumbs on them. And there was a significant amount of dust between the rungs of the coffee table. The sofa and chairs were well worn.. None of this would prevent me from returning. It just seemed out of character compared to the rest of the experience. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Our Errol getaway
We had a great time coming to Errol. My husband’s family owned the camp next door and Lea helped us connect with the owners and see it after more than 20 years. Lea’s camp was quiet, beautiful and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay!

Perfect vacation!!
This place has managed to impress me 2 years in a row!! If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, this is it! Comfortable, clean, rustic place to unplug! The sunset view is picturesque.. We loved it so much we bought a canoe to being back this year! Won't see a soul except the occasional fisherman on the water unless you want to!! Will be going back again!!

Simply amazing
We simply could not have been happier. We can’t wait to go back. Everything was clean and up-dated. Very very comfortable no matter where you went in the house. This is exactly what my family and I needed. Peace and quiet. My daughter and I were able to relax and fish in the pond. The area was quiet and the neighbors we encountered were all very friendly. Any Questions we had Lea answered very quickly. Check in and check out was very simple. Totally amazing.

Nice quiet getaway
The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The area was quiet and the people were super friendly. The only drawback was the bugs but it is that time of year - we used the firepit and had a small fire which kept them at bay. And the host did have bug paraphaniela to help with that. We brought our kayaks and spent a fair amount of time on the pond - my husband fished (successfully) and I just floated. I would recommend that if you want a quiet place to hang out and relax, this would be a good place. Not sure it would be a great place to swim but I am sure people do. Thanks Lea for sharing your place with us.

Quiet, beautiful, just what I needed
I had a great week here. The place is at the end of the road and was very quiet. I really loved that. The place was comfortable, the queen bed very comfortable. Lots of boats on the pond, some fishing some pulling water skiers and rafts. A beautiful pair of loons can be heard and seen. Note that you must bring your own sheets, towels and water. Very nice!

Perfect house for a fishing get-a-way.
The property was a perfect get-a-way for us. We loved the set up of the house. Home was very clean when we arrived. Not far from center of town if you forget anything at home. Plenty of wild life around. Launching of kayak from property was very easy. Only draw back with geese droppings on the lawn. Just have to be careful of where you walk.

An OutdoorsWoman/Mans' Paradise!
We came to fish, and I mean fish! Akers Pond supplied all the Largemouth excitement we were looking for and more. (north end of the lake). Big, and unpressured they were. The top water slams were crazy. (unweighted 3 inch watermelon/red grubs on 2/0) and the fights were excellent. 3lbers all day easy, especially 6-8pm......and a couple tourny fattys to boot. Rainbow trout in the early morning with streamers/ tube flies 6ft.+ down. We hit the Andro and the Maggy both produced 2-3 lb. Smallies, trolling deep running jerk baits (perch color) as the perch here are so abundant its off the charts. I read a review that said this property was a bait and switch because they didn't catch any fish but I think they should have switched the bait! Meanwhile, the wilderness that surrounds these fisheries is breathtaking. It's like endless Bob Ross paintings. We also drove up to Lake Francis and Second Lake to see the Origins of the Connecticut River. We saw a teenager Moose on 26 N a half mile from Akers Pond Rd. All this plus Constitutional carry, Trump country, ATV's, Logging, a drive up to Millsfield Pond w/ 2 wheel drive, Loons swimming and calling while grilling on the patio, listening to the radio in French up in Pittsburg, even though we didn't know what they were talking about, and the flyfishing dept. guys over at Kote's who were so cool. People here are smart, laid back and friendly. We love New Hampshire and in particular, Errol. We, being from NorthWestern Connecticut, always feel like NH is our brother from another mother. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in Winter. Hmmm to the cabin again! Ps. Lea is an amazing Woman! Thank You for sharing your home with us!
