About this property

Our little, yellow cottage is the 3rd house from the beach and sits back off the road down a private driveway shared with two other cottages. Up to two of your well-behaved dogs are always welcome with an additional pet fee, and are allowed on the beach before 9:30 am and after 5:30 pm every day in the summer, and all the time off-season. Linens and towels are not provided for this rental, but we can recommend a linen service. This is a quiet cottage suitable for couples and small families. We have zero tolerance for partiers. We are LGBTQ friendly. The minimum rental age is 40. If you are a younger family, please send an inquiry.
We rent Friday to Friday in the summer months, with shorter stays available in the fall, winter, and spring.
WE DO NOT RENT TO STUDENTS OR GROUPS OF SINGLES (with some exceptions for ages 50+.)

Greyhound Weekend

Loved the cottage ! Plenty of parking , laundry room was equipped with nice washer and dryer . Plenty of room for 4 adults and a dog . Was nice to be on the deck and hear the ocean and so close to the beach !

Dewey Gem

This was our second year at Starfish Cottage and we will be back next year. The location is great and the house is perfect for two of us and our dogs. A short stroll to the beach and dog friendly restaurants. Very clean and well stocked.

Wonderful stay in Dewey

Great location. Easy walk onto the beach, easy walk for plenty of food/drinks/activities. House was easily accessible, extremely well kept/clean, and everything was as described in the listing. Valerie was super easy to get a hold of and quick to provide answers/confirmation. Would definitely return with the family next summer

Great location and dog-friendly!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The location was very convenient to the beach and restaurants. It had everything we needed and we were so appreciative that we were able to bring our rescue dog who had never been to the beach before! The owner was helpful and very responsive to any questions we had. It was a great experience for all of us and we hope to return when the weather is a little warmer!

Another great week at the beach

We love Starfish Cottage as it's plenty big for the four of us, SO close to the beach, dog friendly, and easy to walk to lots of restaurants -- owner was super attentive about a question I had, getting back to us in about 10 minutes. Only regret is that we forgot to write something nice in the little 'diary' near the TV saying how much we enjoyed things so that others can see!

Great spot

Really clean, well maintained property a stones throw from the beach. Restaurants and shops were within walking distance, like end of the block to a few blocks away. And almost every place was dog friendly. Cannot wait to go back.
