Al Fresco at the rear of the house overlooking native bush and enclosed garden, gourmet barbeque. The rear access to the house has both a motion sensor light and a CCTV Camera to deter any crime or unsolicited activities on the property.

Family getaway

We loved our stay at Roo’s Leap Retreat. Came over with our adult kids. We all had a great time , both children got to have their own room. We walked to Margaret river town from the retreat, it was a lovely walk. The house is surrounded by beautiful trees and we enjoyed the birds chirping 1st thing in the morning.Had kangaroos hopping outside the rooms, loved it all. The fireplace was used all the time we were in the house. Very comfortable and spacious living room. Beds were very comfortable to sleep in. Andrea was very communicative through out the process of booking , checkin and until checkout. Wineries were not that far.Highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a house in nature yet not to far from the main town.

Wonderful location

My family had a wonderful stay at this property. Close enough to Margaret Rivers main strip without being too close, and just a shot 10 min drive to the beach. Property is in great condition and well looked after, comfortable for couples or a family. Great to see the kangaroos come to see us each day. I would highly recommend this property.

Simply Stunning

A beautiful and clean house, surrounded by a canopy of trees and bush. Peaceful and tranquil. Idyllic, watching the kangaroos graze right outside the door. Our favourite place to stay in the South-West.

This home is in a beautiful bush setting with Kangaroos coming right up to the patio. A 15min walk into town, makes the location perfect for a relaxing stay. Beds are very comfortable. You will love your stay at Roos Leap.

Idyllic Surrounds

Fantastic stay at Roo's Leap Retreat. This property has everything and so cosy with the woodburner in winter. The stunning bush surrounds provide such tranquility and peace. Just magic, waking up to the sound of kookaburras and catching glimpses of kangaroos.

An impeccable yet lovely home

I picked this place for a well-deserved break and even my fussy husband was so impressed that he would like me to book it again and bring the kids as well. When we first arrived there were kangaroos welcoming us on the lawn. We just loved returning to this welcoming, comfortable and relaxing home after a big day on the MTB trails. It has a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely dining area and a fantastic fireplace, but it is also close to all the cafes, restaurants and wineries.

I stayed in this house with my family, it's an excellent property in a very convenient location. The property is well equipped and very spacious, it also feels private. I'd recommend a stay here, the hosts are very accommodating and welcoming and the house was well presented and very clean.

Perfect property

Everything about Roo's Leap is fantastic. Spacious, very well maintained, adored the walk in pantry, and robes in the bedrooms. Beds were comfy for a great sleep, and so useful to have the laundry on hand. Location is just right, close enough to town to be able to access everything you need, but feels remote, private and quiet. We even had kangaroos come visit nightly, so aptly named! Andrea is a great host, wonderful communication, appreciated the first night wellness check a lot, and thank you so much for the surprise gift! Loved the welcome message, it like everything else about property was lovely and made us so happy to be there and have a great place to return to after a day of exploring the region. Wish we'd stayed a few more days, just to be able to sit on the verandah and enjoy the peace - hoping we might return one day, and I've already recommended Roos Leap to several people. Thankyou so much for a fantastic stay.

Stunning stay

Very picturesque place which included the birds 🦅, wallabies and kangaroos 🦘 Very comfortable stay with everything you could ask for. Extremely close to all we wanted to explore including the Jewel cave, beaches and wineries. And Margaret River itself was very quirky and had everything needed for our stay. Spacious house of high quality, nearly new. Beautiful surroundings. Close to town but absolutely quiet. Watched the sunset with a beer in pretty Sea Garden Cafe at the beach in Prevelly every evening. Communication with manager Andrea was absolutely delightful.

Summer Holiday

The house was amazing and the attention to detail was evident in every way. Plenty of room for 6 adults. The location to town, wineries and activities was perfect. An easy 20-25min walk into town. Magical property in ideal location.

This was the perfect place to stay in Margaret River. It felt so private and isolated and yet was a short(ish) walk to the town centre. The accommodation was superb, pristine and luxurious. The roos in the garden were an added bonus as were the brightness of the stars at night. The selection of DVDs, books and games enabled relaxing evenings. Loved, loved, loved it.

Peace & Tranqiility

A wonderful, quite, tranquil, spotlessly clean & spacious home. This home is very close to township of Margaret River though you feel you are in a hideaway. From the first time we enquired Andrea was always prompt to respond & extremely accommodating. House is very comfortable with everything to feel like home.
