Look no further, you have found the perfect vacation rental! Welcome to Bear River Lodge, the vacation home that will check something off everyone’s list!

Bear River Lodge is located in Center Conway, NH. This beautiful log cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and sleeping for 8 people. The main level includes an open concept living room with gas stove and large TV, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and dining area, bedroom with queen bed (sleeps 2), bedroom with queen bed (sleeps 2) and bathroom with shower. As an added convenience, on the main level you will also find a washing machine and dryer. The spacious master bedroom is located upstairs with a king bed (sleeps 2) and has its own private full bathroom. In the finished basement you will find a large family room with pull out sofa (sleeps 2) and bar area with large flat screen TV.

Step outside and you will find a large screened in porch, spacious deck for sunbathing and grilling, a private hot tub, fire pit and a private in ground swimming pool! (POOL IS NOT HEATED) There is also a grassy yard, perfect for lawn games.

There is a lot to love about this vacation rental and it is only a 10 minute drive from North Conway!

MAIN LEVEL: Open concept living room, kitchen and dining area. Bedroom with queen bed, bedroom with queen bed and full bathroom with shower off the hallway.

SECOND LEVEL: Master bedroom with King bed and full bathroom.

FINISHED BASEMENT: Family room with queen size pullout sofa, 2 person sauna.

AMENITIES INCLUDE: Private swimming pool (NOT HEATED) & fire pit (summer only) fire pit use requires a permit, hot tub (installed fall 2018), cable TV, internet, dish washer, washing machine, air conditioning (main level living are and master bedroom) and gas grill.

Overall

Very musty basement. Couldn't sleep down there due to the overwhelming odor. Master bedroom is a king not a queen as listed . fantastic location!

july 19th through 21st stay

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: overall it was not a bad stay but the no carpet in the finished basement area and having a water leak from the dishwasher made it disappointing. also we have never stayed anywhere that we had to bring our own sheets for the beds and if we did not make a call before we got there we would have never even known. It just so happen that someone mentioned it when we made a call to ask a question reguarding something else. when your spending over 4000 dollars for a 3 day stay would just expect a little more luxury than what it was.

Conway NH getaway

What a great home for a family vacation! The combination of the inground pool and a nice hot tub made for a great time for the adults and kids alike. The pool was great but be prepared that the water will likely be very cold as it is unheated and you're in NH after all. After the initial shock we found it did not deter us from using it regularly, especially the kids who did not want to get out after they got used to it. The hot tub was a great way to finish off the day, very relaxing. The master bedroom/suite was great for us, mattress is on the firm side but was in good shape. Nice open concept kitchen, dining and family room. My only two minor critiques are one of the couches has outlived it's useful life (orange couch), it was stained and smelly. That said, there were two other couches that were fine and we didn't necessarily need the 3rd. But it's time to replace or remove the orange one. Second minor critique is having to bring your trash off site to the dumpster at check in location was a hassle. When you have a few kids generating trash and a fully loaded vehicle on your departure date, full trash bags were the last thing I wanted to pack in the vehicle. Those couple items were minor in the grand scheme of things and we all had great memories and opinions this vacation house!

Cozy Cabin Get-Away

Spacious cabin in a great location. Close to restaurants, North Conway and skiing. Lots of room on main floor for our 18-month old granddaughter to play. We enjoyed the hot tub. Cabin was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed a very relaxing 3 days and will definitely book this property again.

Nice, clean but we were locked out of the house.

My wife and I are celebrating our anniversary and she lives the area. My mom and 7 month twin boys are with us. Our original location was canceled and we found out with very short notice so we found house and booked asap. The property is clean. We did not access the pool or other amenities because we reserved for October. Unfortunately, We locked the keys inside and we were not able to get in touch anyone to let us in. We had to get a hotel 25 minutes away and we were able to get back in the next morning.

Lovely Home Year Round

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My friends and I rented Bear River Lodge for the second time, having previously rented it in 2021 and returning again in 2022. It is a lovely home in a really great area, just outside North Conway. The location is perfect. There are a few things I'd update if I owned it. For example, I'd repair the broken screens, install an outside shower, and move the fireplace or at least create a second one. The current location makes it hard for everyone to gather around it. I'd love to return in the future, but the significant price increases for the property just from 2021 to 2022 may force me to look at other places.

Great little place

Great little place out of the way of all the traffic. Kids loved the pool and we all enjoyed the hot tub! Easy drive to hiking, shopping and tubing the Saco. We will definitely be back next year!

Incredible log home with pool.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at Bear River Lodge. The home is spacious and very clean. The air conditioning works very well, and this was during a week of over 90 degree days. The pool and hot tub were awesome, too! A great vacation at a great home!!!

The cabin is in a great location, close to everything we personally wanted to be close to. Shopping is also about a 5-7 minute drive, which was great! The hot tub was a great feature to have, but was very sandy/dirty at the bottom upon our arrival. Tip that I will say for others regarding the 's would be a good idea to bring your trash to the real estate office prior to check out day because you simply won't have any room in your car. The owners may also want to consider an on-site trash dumpster for convenience. Overall, great cabin and easy check in- check out. We hope to come back in the summer!

Beautiful cabin in the woods

We had a very nice stay. We had no issues. Cabin was clean and the location was great (about a 12 minute drive to downtown North Conway). Property manager was flexible when we had to change our dates. I do think it’s a bit overpriced and going to the real estate office before and after is slightly inconvenient, but otherwise, we had no complaints. I would stay again.

Family Getaway

Due to COVID, we wanted to get away somewhere away from crowds, so no hotels. This house was perfect, the pool was great and the hot tub was relaxing, the kids and us enjoyed both. The only downside is that the wait for a restaurant was 1 to 2 hours at 5 pm, du to COVID and short staffing.

Holiday Cesspool

the smell of sewer gas through out the building leading to raw sewerage spilling into the lower level leading to first floor shower and toilet overflowing with effluent. I had to call and procure a septic company. I had to clean the property on the 4th of July.

Wished it was cleaner

This property was a fun stay! We loved the pool and the hot tub. The kids were sad to leave. Pros: pool, back deck with grill, beautiful windows in the common area, and screened in front porch. The kitchen table was nice, big and rustic looking which was cool. Select Real Estate was very responsive and easy to work with. The house was very close to North Conway shopping area and other main attractions like Cranmore. Cons: unfortunately the house was not cleaned very well. The downstairs bathroom had toothpaste on the mirror, in the sink and on the faucet before any of us even used it. I had to wipe down globs of shampoo/body wash from the shower before using it, there was also a used bar of soap left in the downstairs shower. There were items left in the dryer, the kitchen counter tops, along with the top of the stove, were dirty and dusty. When wiping down with water the paper towel came away black. There were dishes left in the strainer and in the dishwasher to be put away, we didn’t know if dishes in dishwasher were clean so we re-ran them and put them all away. Per the house rules all dishes were to be cleaned and put away at the end of each stay. We had to sweep when we got there and found some broken glass on the floor in the kitchen. Since we have little kids we decided to do a good sweeping of the main area in case there were more pieces of glass and found lots of crumbs and more glass under the hutch by the TV. For the cleaning fee and the price of the property, we expected it to be spotless and unfortunately it was not. The one down side about the location is that it is right off a main road and you can hear traffic and people laying on their horns throughout the day. All in all, I would recommend this property but be aware that you may have to do some cleaning.

Not what I expected

House had cobwebs, unfortunately the water heater broke so we lost a day but I'm not faulting anyone. We tried to play board games but they were missing pieces or not in the box. The hot tub was great. We were farther away from things than I thought. Beds uncomfortable as ever! Guess I had higher expectations and it was just ok. Sorry but true. It's sad because in town things aren't really open due to the fact that every place is hiring so some places are closed like the Nike outlet and restaurants. Not much to do. The house though...picture looked better than the actual house. The windows are beautiful. What can I say. Spent alot of money and not happy at the condition of the house. Never again.

Great option in N Conway

Bear river lodge

The stay was okay. We had a lot of fun. During our last night someone turned on the deck lights and they shut off immediately. After that the lights wouldn’t turn back on and neither would the outlets powering the tv. We were stuck with no tv or lights for the deck. I called property management at 9:00 pm. Didn’t get an answer so I left a message that night and it is now 3:00 pm the following day. I’m shocked that no one has returned my call yet.
