About this property

Our cabin, Betty Jeans Joy, is nestled on the upper side of the Lantern Hill community. Very CLEAN--Professionally cleaned!! Read our REVIEWS!! Relax and enjoy the evening view or a morning cup of coffee while sitting in the front porch swing. Come inside and enjoy a very cozy place by the gas fireplace or play a game of pool on our pool table. There is plenty of room to 'whip up' a quick meal in our well-equipped kitchen. A washer/dryer combo is available in kitchen area for your convenience. Enjoy AC/heating, WIFI, cable tv, and keyless entry to the cabin!! NO remote location for check-in, just go straight to the cabin to start your vacation!!
Upstairs, enjoy a spacious bedroom with cathedral ceiling, ceiling fan and overhead light for your convenience, a king size bed and a walk-in shower and over-sized Jacuzzi tub. Awesome couple's retreat!! From the bedroom balcony, enjoy the amazing view of Mt. LaConte. Take a drive through the Smoky Mountain National Park. After a day in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, enjoy a relaxing time a our hot tub which is located on the back deck on the lower level right outside the kitchen. Enjoy the private back deck complete with 2 rocking chairs and an upscale gas grill. During the winter, enjoy some city lights and during the spring and summer mostly a wooded view on the back deck--perfect for an escape to 'quiet'!

We had a great time at Betty Jean's joy. The listing was accurate. We were contacted a few days before our arrival and given all information needed. Cabin is located in a great area. Super close to the action. It was super clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean which is always a top priority for us. The bed was on the firmer side and a few new pans would be helpful for cooking. Otherwise, everything was great! Would certainly come again.

Squirrelly Stay

The cabin location was spectacular for Mountain View’s and access to stores, restaurants and attractions. It was unfortunate that a squirrel chose to nest in the bathroom fan vent causing some issues. The owner really didn’t seem to care she did contact maintenance who had to come out twice, as the squirrel got back in twice. It is a memory we won’t forget. Plenty of cabin choices in this area. Well worth the look. Have fun!

Great master bedroom!!

Loved this master bedroom, could sleep here forever. Definitely set up for couples. We brought our 18 yr old, and there was not a good spot for him to sleep but he is very tall. The fold out couch or fold up twin would be great for little ones though. Very clean too!!

Great little get away

The property was exactly as listed online. It was the perfect secluded get away for my husband and I. Great location to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We had a fabulous time. Would definitely stay here again.

Valentine weekend getaway

Overall the property needs some major upgrades. The pictures do not do justice in showing this. You get the feeling that you are staying in grandma’s attic. With that being said there was the issue of little black bugs in all of the windows. The back porch light was burnt out so we had to replace the bulb by taking it from one of the lamps. One of the lamps had a burnt out bulb as well. The blender did not work and we has brought items to make smoothies as part of our diets . The downstairs toilet leaked. Other than that we really enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub. This cabin is in a great location. Very close to the Pigeon Forge strip and the cabin itself, even though in a cabin community it very private with great views. I think for the issue this cabin has and the decor being as outdated as it was, it was overpriced.

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful little cabin.

The only confusion was the address in the listing, but it was easy to contact the host to get the right information. Cabin was very nice. And, we had to leave early on account of a winter storm, but Jackie helped make it right, unexpectedly. Really nice experience.

Beautiful, cozy cabin!

This cabin was excellent! This place was so clean and maintained, you could not even tell it was pet friendly. The cabin itself was beautiful, and it was in a great location. You get plenty of privacy while not being in the middle of nowhere on a high up mountain. Communication with the host was great. We had an issue getting the fireplace going, and she had someone out instantly to fix it. Overall, such a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Cabin

We had an excellent stay! Cabin was super clean and the view was beautiful! Close enough to town but also far enough away to get the best of both worlds. You could not tell/smell that fur babies are allowed to stay. Will definitely stay here again! Thank you Miss Jackie and Miss Anita!
