We had a wonderful stay with our family. It was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, we grilled, we had a fire in the evening and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. My only suggestion would be to have an 11 am checkout, it was a little difficult to get all the linens and towels washed and be out by 10 am and we only used the downstairs two bedrooms.Thank you again for letting g stay at your place we reworked anhiyedniur tine.
Pleasant cottage worked well for myself, my college age nephew and some of his friends. Well equipped, comfortable beds and plentiful living room seating for group.
we had a great time just sitting on the back porch looking at the water. Rick the neighbor was pleasant to talk to. I had my 84 yr old aunt and my 81 yr old friend with me,except for a couple of hiccups they loved it.
Thank you Keith & Pam for responding right away.

Great place!
Quaint and perfect. Nice little get away by the lake. The owners are super nice and responsive. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Our stay included family ranging from 8 months to 81. Everyone was comfortable and happy. We loved the morning breezes and the amazing lake view. Easy communication and check-in. Thank you!
Loved the house, feet from the water's edge, shallow at the edge of the lawn and wonderful view of the lake. Too soon in the season for docks to be in, it would have been nice to walk out over the water. Enjoyed watching the birds on the lake. Spacious deck, A great time skipping stones on the water. Keith came over, explained directions on the heat and answered any questions we had. Pam and Keith pleasant to work with, they live in the neighborhood so easily contact, but we did not need them. I gave a 4 out of 5 on cleanliness to keep the "Mr. Clean & Martha Stewarts" from being whiners. The house was very clean, tidy & comfortable, but if you want to eat off floor of the deck, expect brand new carpet or if a stray cob web sends you into a "fit", it might not be for you. But 99% of renters, including us will be very happy. We felt right at home. Some ongoing enhancements that Pam and Keith are doing did not interfere with our stay or enjoyment. It was a quiet time of year when we rented, early May. We were told that it gets busy and expectedly noisier in the summer when more families with school age children are renting. The cottage is spacious and comfortable, plenty of dishes, silverware & what you need for food prep. Big picnic table plus 4-6 outdoor chairs. I would definitely stay again. No complaints only THUMBS UP. Thanks to Pam and Keith :) Sincerely, Lynn
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by neighbors and Keith, providing information about the boat and the lake. Cottage was just like the pics! The weather was absolutely perfect, so sitting on the porch/deck was just awesome just feet away from the water. Easy access for everything. Plenty of beds, living space very roomy, and great working kitchen. We met awesome people that walked by or cruised by in their golf cart. Super helpful and friendly neighbors.
Pam was very generous in letting us stay longer on check out day since there wasn't another rental that day. I look forward to coming back with friends and family again.
We had a great time staying at Pat and Keith's cottage right on Honeoye Lake. The house was very comfy and we enjoyed the outdoor deck and barbeque. Can't wait for another chance to visit!
Cottage was great cozy, clean, relaxing deck, kitchen well stocked with cookware. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful. Keith very welcoming, had great suggestions for sights, shopping and restaurants.
Will be reserving again next year.
Just hope the weather and the lake cooperate next time.
We had a great time at this rental! The neighbors were so welcoming and Keith stopped by a couple of times to check in on us (great guy too!)! I was also able to text him and he got right back to me! The house had everything we needed for a great stay! The only issue was the door screen was broken and many flies got in the house. We bought some fly swatters so it wasn’t a major thing. We will rent again for sure!! Thank you!
Great location on Honeoye Lake, during our August stay, no need for fans or AC. There are wonderful breezes from the lake. Comfortable house that is just the right size, not too big or too small, and it has almost everything you could possibly need. It is located in a friendly community. Every morning, my husband fished from a kayak or from the dock. (He caught a lot of fish and 3 nice bass.) Every afternoon, we drove atound and explored the finger lake region (lots and lots to see). Every evening, we marveled at the beauty of the sunsets. There are resturaunts and take aways just a short drive away. We all (baby boomers and millenials) had a great vacation and really enjoyed the lake and area!
This was the second time staying at this cottage. New updates this year! We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The neighbors are all so friendly and kind. The lake is so beautiful. We love to bring our boat with us and enjoy the lake completely. Both times, Keith stopped by to say hi and see if everything is okay. The grocery store is about 3 minutes away. Top Shelf Pizza is about 2 mins away; we tried it this time and it was good. The cool breeze off the lake is always wonderful. The nights are so quiet and restful. The cottage is supplied well and we can travel lightly as there is a washer and dryer. This is truly a getaway cottage with a friendly, peaceful atmosphere. We love it.
The property is very sweet. Direct access to the lake is terrific. The house had everything we needed and exactly as described. I would say that the beds in the smaller bedroom and upstairs are very firm, could use a mattress topper, but are not old or in any way deficient, just not super comfy. The house has amazing windows and when there is a breeze it feels wonderful! When there is no breeze it gets hot inside mid-summer, especially upstairs. Not an issue other times, and the large deck make being outside comfortable. Overall a clean, comfortable, well stocked house! Keith was VERY responsive and lovely to chat with.
To be honest, this cottage could use some help making it more modern, however we settled right in and had a great time! This cottage is about relaxing and enjoying nature. There is nothing else we needed. The couches in the Living Room were a beautiful leather and we loved congregating there in the morning and evening; they were so comfortable. We were greeted by neighbors our first day there. It was wonderful. A couple of the neighbors helped us with our new boat - putting it in and teaching us the ropes. We never expected such wonderful and friendly people. We spent hours just hanging outside, taking walks, playing with our dogs, and playing pickle ball at the community park. One day, we had some family come to visit and we all enjoyed the serene setting together. Keith came by that day to introduce himself and see if we needed anything. He is friendly and helpful and lives just down the street. I cannot praise this place enough. It is a true cottage with an outdoor world that is a bit of heaven!
The cottage was a lovely spot to relax and rewind. The fall colors were out in force. Even the rainy day was fun, staying in by the fire. Pam and Keith responded promptly when we had questions. Look forward to spending another vacation there.
The lake cottage was lovely. The beds we're comfortable. The place was clean with everything needed for cooking, including spices and extras which made for an enjoyable stay. We will consider this house on our next visit to the area.

About the host
Hosted by Pam Castronova & Keith Rotach
Pam and Keith are the owners of Eagle Point. Pam is a native of Honeoye Lake and has a deep appreciation of this wonderful area. She is a real estate agent who also works part-time at Wizard of Clay Pottery. Keith grew up in Rochester, but prefers the country life with it's wide open spaces. He is a teacher at BOCES, a skilled handyman, and also plays music at local wineries and breweries. They both love boating and entertaining family and friends.
Why they chose this property
We chose Eagle Point because of the amazing view. Our first week in the cottage we were busy painting and heard an unusual bird call. Looking out the window - way up in a tall tree we saw two bald eagles! That's when we came up with the name Eagle Point.
What makes this property unique
There are few views on Honeoye Lake better than this one and the sunsets can't be beat. The neighbors are friendly and helpful.
