We enjoyed our stay and was what I expected. The pictures posted are accurate so between price and pictures, Oliver provided exactly what he presented. This rental is priced great, Oliver Was very nice and the renter living in a seperate unit was very friendly. We needed a dog friendly, affordable rental and preferred being closer to polo then Newport downtown area so it was the perfect fit for us. Considering the next option was almost a $1000 a night more, I’m just happy this option was available as the trip wouldn’t of happened without it.

Great house for a weekend stay

My girlfriends and I stayed here for the weekend and had a great time. It is a 10 minute uber from all the sites Newport has to offer.

Renter beware!!!

The property owner was a great guy but renter beware. We had a number of issues with the property: 1) Stains on pillowcases 2) Hole in wall in kitchen 3) Spiderwebs and spiders on front window 4) Skirting boards falling off walls 5) Graffitti on kitchen table 6) Huge back-hoe parked on basketball court 7) The property owner lives upstairs and there's a shared entrance 8) The yard was generally untidy and overgrown 9) Stains around air conditioners in bedrooms A number of guests from my party did not feel safe staying at the property and left. The owner refused to issue us a refund when the property was unfit to stay in which left us significantly out of pocket. This is an old house, just know what you are getting yourself into if you choose to stay here.

Convenient and exactly as listed

This property was a great fit for our group. We were attending the Newport Folk Festival and the apartment was well located for that. It was basic in terms of provisioning but especially considering that it was on the less expensive side, perfectly a-ok. The communication from Oliver was helpful and he was responsive during our trip. Overall, I’d recommend people to stay in this property.

Had a great time

The group and I really enjoyed the house. The only downside was the machinery on the basketball court. This was not mentioned beforehand. Other than that the place was great and we had a blast!
