2nd time staying at this property and the experience was just as awesome as the first. Great central location for mountain roads and it is right next to Oark Cafe. Home is super clean and a classic old house.
We rented this cabin with some friends for a SXS riding weekend and its a great property and better host. Convenient location to trail heads, Oark General Store is great for fuel, food and last minute items you forgot. Mary and Katie are great hosts for the property and its meets its description. We've stayed here multiple times and this won't be our last stay either. See you again soon!
Drove 300 hundred miles to eat at Mountain View Bistro Oark Ark. Fantastic just 1/2 mile from cottage, excellent food deserts and service. Will return soon.
House is so nice and enjoyable. Mary is always a great host. We'll be back next year.

Cute and historic house built in the 1930’s. Had A/C and heat & Wifi and Ruku TV. Great place to have some family time. In a beautiful area in the Ozarks. Host was so nice. The general store and breakfast place was right in front of the property. A great place to get away.
This is the best little Gem in the Ozarks. Great location, beautiful surroundings, peaceful and friendly. You could almost call it a bed and breakfast with the Oark general store across the street with great food and top notch hospitality. Big shout out to the Owner, Mary. She is the icing on the cake. Already planning a return trip.
We were there to take part in the Arkanstol air show. We stayed at this Vrbo as was close and the place was quiet and he everything we needed. We enjoyed it very much.
The home was so comfortable and pretty. We enjoyed everything about it and after our days of exploring the area we enjoyed porch sittin’. We were so happy to have had the opportunity to stay here.

Really liked the location of the property, made it very convenient to go to breakfast at the Oark general store.
This property has it all, charming, peaceful, rich in comfort. We have stayed here quite a few times and always enjoy our stay. Great Hosts and amenities. Highly recommend.
The house was beautiful, immaculate, and cozy! The kitchen was well equipped for all cooking needs. Each room is decorated wonderfully. The living room couches were very comfortable.
The entire house has such great character. We absolutely enjoyed our stay! Thank you!
(My only suggestion- mattress pads for the beds- comfy beds are a must.)
Sweet surroundings make for a restful stay in tiny mountain town
A friend and I stayed for one night on a recent exploration trip. Technology and appliances seemed to be just fine. Coziness factor was wonderful. Beds were comfy as well. It’s an old structure—the hardwood floors pop a bit sometimes, and that’s totally normal. The door hinges could use a little WD-40. I really liked how each room could control its own temperature. Mary is very nice and helped us locate an old church we were hoping to photograph.
I’m planning to recommend to friends and would like to return for a longer and even more relaxing stay!
I have stayed in this home several times and I always enjoy it. Mary is alway so welcoming and makes us feel right at home. I would highly recommend staying in this comfy home.
This property was very nice and clean. Steps away from the Oark General Store. Mrs. Mary the property owner is very sweet and one of a kind. We came here with our side by sides to ride the area and there was plenty of parking for 2 trucks with trailers. ❤
The house was wonderful, just as described, and the owner Mary was great to work with. House has high speed internet, which is a plus as there is no cell phone service in the area. We will book again next time we are in the area for riding the trails.
