About this property

This luxury cabin is situated next to a gorgeous pond in a immaculate park-like country setting.This place is perfect for a romantic getaway or some much needed R&R. Beautiful custom- built cabin made from reclaimed barn wood and reclaimed lumber from the property, also comfortable hand made furniture crafted from reclaimed woods as well. This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom plus hide a bed in sofa will sleep 6 adults comfortably. Washer and Dryer are included as well as full kitchen with stainless appliances including a dishwasher. Flat screen TV with wifi in living room and DVD player. From nearly every room of the house you'll have views of your own private pond and waterfalls. The pond is full of koi fish, turtles, ducks and even stocked with trout. The 6 person hot tub is next to one of the two waterfalls on the property and just outside the downstairs bedroom for easy access. The large covered deck has a propane bbq for your use and some more great views. There's a big sandy beach area that comes furnished with chairs to relax in and a fire pit to cozy up next to in the evenings.

very private and peaceful

Really beautiful! Really loved the location. The pond, water falls and koi fish were so relaxing to look at every morning. Hoping to stay here again in spring or summer. The host is really sweet and accommodating.

Great location to see North Cascades and the islands. Heidi is a top notch host. Would give 10 stars for communication. The property is lovely and so relaxing. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again.

This place is amazing! There is so much to do! From the pond with the koi fish, to the island , to the hot tub to the kayaks and paddle board! The cabin was immaculate and beautifully decorated! I will definitely stay here again!

Fun for kids!

My daughter and niece absolutely loved this place! There was so much for them to do every day - kayak, sand play, swim, yard games, foosball. It was a great stay. Only complaint would be the sheets. They could use an upgrade.

Anniversary getaway

The property was beautiful. The bottom of the pond is lined and has sand, it was so much fun to paddle board and swim in. The only downside is it’s not very private. The owners house is very close proximity and visible from the deck, beach areas and pond. Hot tub area had plenary of shrubbery making it private.

Cabin and surroundings asr so very nice. We came for a wedding and sightseeing. We did go to wedding, but hung out at cabin mostly. Maybe play tourist next time.

Great New Years!!

Just a couple of notes to improve the experience in the future!! Upgrade the bed sheets to 600 count the flannel sheet were very scratchy. Hot tube was wonderful but needed to be cleaned.

Relaxing fall getaway

We truly enjoyed the beautiful property and cabin. This was my husband's and my first getaway after a major surgery in July and it was much needed. The cabin is amazing and super cute. It was a rainy day when we arrived but the following day was sunny and even though it was chilly we explored some of the awesome landscaping they provided. Inside the cabin was warm and cozy. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend it to other's. Thank you so very much to the host and her hospitality.

Little Paradise

This was our second stay at this well- kept property on a large pond with a waterfall, and full of colorful koi fish. Guests can use kayaks and a boat and a wonderful jacuzzi. The view is beautiful and restorative.

Greatest Place Ever !

The pictures do not do this place justice! This is like your own little resort in paradise. My husband and I stayed here and could not wait to get home and book again. The scenery was magnificent, there is a bald eagle that sits on a very near by tree and does fly by's over the pond. I would recommend this place .

beautiful oasis with a few things to be aware of

This property is even better in person than the listing. It is truly an oasis along with a very comfortable and clean space, stunning views, waterfall sounds and lovely décor! Our family truly enjoyed the stay. The coy fish were so fun and we spent most our time by the water and our kids in the sand or kayaks! Kitchen/ beds/ house stocked great and the hot tub was perfect. There are a few things that i unfortunately need to make people aware of that the listing doesn't make clear, The cabin iteself it situated below the owner's home about 200 yards above you on a small hill. A solid part of the beach is rather private but there is a large part that basically overlooks your space. I know, if i were looking for a romantic place expecting to be alone i would be disappointed. Upon arrival i had a few questions i messaged the owners on VRBO. I hadn't heard back that eve and sent another message without any reply. The next day, i received a message asking if someone could come down to treat the hot tub. No problem, but why wasn't any of my questions responded to. The next day their son came riding a 4x4 to the water looking for bull frogs with a friend. It was fine, but it put us in an awkward position being a space we paid for to be private. The next day we received a text asking if her son could come swim. Talk about the most uncomfortable position to be in. We really should not have even had to choose an answer to this at a private space. I replied kindly saying we prefer the privacy, etc. We never heard back. At this point we weren't even comfortable reaching out when we ran out of toilet paper. One other thing that was just seemingly unprofessional... They had a flag being flown below the American flag in clear view of our property saying a political statement with the word F*$% on it. We went back and forth on how we felt trying to understand its their property ect. It just felt not okay in the end. Especially for our family who falls into a demographic that is generally opposite to what their flag referred to. Also, there is no sofa bed as listed. It is an airmattress which was fine, but we couldn't find the pump and they ignored our question to where it was. Overall the trip was a perfect rest in the crazy life of 2020-21 but with these things being such as issue, particularly with the communication of them, i cant refer it as much as i want to friends without a disclaimer. Hope this helps others in their bookings.

Great family getaway

We had a great time at the cabin! Our kids loved the pond, kayaking, and paddle boarding. We did too! We had s'mores by the fire and the hot tub was a great end to a day of hiking. Having a washer/dryer was very helpful. The kitchen is well-stocked and we used the grill two nights. We loved the proximity to North Cascades too. You could spend an entire week here! We loved it!

Amazing get away!!!

The rental was perfect inside and out. Beautiful cozy, comfy large cabin with everything you need and more. Beautiful landscaping and pond. We called it our little oasis for the weekend. Heidi and Lincoln are super nice and hands on if you have any issue at all. recommending to all my friends. Can;t wait to come back!

Great getaway!

This was a great cabin to stay in! The cabin was beautiful, and the property was amazing -- I loved the pond, little island in the middle, and the great deck. I found a few adorable, tiny frogs by the pond that I LOVED. The hot tub was a highlight, and was easy to navigate (nothing complicated). The beds were comfy, there is tons of sitting space, the TV/cable worked well, and the kitchen was great! I really appreciated that the kitchen was fully functional (LOTS of cooking supplies) and that the bathroom had tons of towels (needed for the hot tub!). I wasn't expecting the cabin to be so close to other houses / cabins, but that wasn't a big deal to us. There were some kids running around in the yard and some teens fishing in the pond throughout the days we were there, which we didn't expect..... so it's not very secluded. I wouldn't recommend this for a romantic weekend getaway, but for a fun group trip, absolutely!
