Quiet Home, One Block to Glendoveer Golf Course, 10 minutes to Airport

Single story ranch style home in a quiet neighborhood. One block to the Glendoveer walking path and fabulous golf. Just blocks from Summerplace. One bedroom with king sized bed, with adjoining bathroom, one with a queen, and the room for kids, with two twin beds. Large hall bath has tub/shower. Two separate living rooms, one for TV, one just for conversation. Cable TV and Wi-Fi included. A covered patio is just out the back door, as well as a deck with plenty of seating, all in a fenced back yard. A two car garage is attached to the house, and there is a washer and dryer for your convenience. Air conditioning in the summer is a plus! Close to Mt. Hood Community College, Cascade Station, IKEA and the Portland Airport. Close to MAX lines to downtown, as well as the Portland bus system. Downtown Portland is a 15 minute drive down I-84. No smoking or pets, please.

Great for a long stay

The house is well-equipped, nicely updated and has a great backyard. If you need a place to stay in Portland for a few months, this is a great choice.

Great home!!!

My husband and I stayed at this home and found it to be very comfortable. If we had a question the owners were very prompt in their communication back. They would also reach out to us to let us know if someone was coming by to cut the grass or what not. The kitchen had everything we needed. The a/c and heating unit worked well and made us comfortable in 100 degree temperatures! The internet works well. I was able to work from the home. There is a golf course basically across the street that has a 2 mile walking trail around it. We would stay there again.

Perfect vacation house for us!

This was our first time renting, and we could not have asked for a better experience. We stayed at this Portland home for a month in order to escape the Las Vegas heat. The house itself was very spacious and clean, and it accommodated some of our visiting family members perfectly. The three bedrooms with sleeping for six were a definite plus. As far as the little things, Nancy had everything there that we could ever need. We truly felt like we were at home. In addition, we found the location of the house to work great for us as well. It was very close to the airport, a Costco, grocery stores, and pretty much anything else that we needed. Most importantly, I have to mention how amazing Nancy was to work with. She answered emails and texts right away and consistently provided fun ideas to help make our stay even better. She was terrific! I can't imagine how another renting experience could ever top this one. I highly recommend this property!

Wonderful home!

The layout of the home flowed very nicely and fit our family of 6 perfectly. The bedrooms are a great size with wonderful sleeping arrangements. The bathrooms are clean and were nicely supplied with soap, towels and washcloths. The outdoor space is wonderful, with lots of room to spend enjoying friends and family. It would have been perfect if there was a grill. The kitchen is nicely stocked with cooking materials, as well as extra incidentals such as spices, cooking oil, dry goods, etc. in case you forgot to bring something. The neighborhood was quiet, and about a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Portland. There is a golf course across the street that has a nice walking/running path. We would love to stay in this home again if we come back to Portland. Nancy, the owner, was wonderful to work with and was always easy to reach. We loved our stay at this home!

Great location near major highways and golf course. Comfortable outdoor space, spacious home, and nice laundry facilities. Easily accommodated our group of 2 couples and 1 single. Will definitely use VRBO when we visit relatives in Portland again.

Great Place!

The place is huge. Large master bedroom and bath that I let my parents have. My wife and I stayed in the other bedroom with plenty of room. Has large formal living room and large family room where we hung out while we were there. never needed the third bedroom with two twins. Kitchen was great with plenty of space and a little of everything to cover what we forgot to bring or didn't want to bring, yet they seemed to have it all there (like spices, and a dab of cooking oil, etc) Had a great deck and covered patio in the back. the neighborhood was very quiet and pretty convenient access to the freeways, shopping and dining locations. And the air conditioning for one of the hottest days of the year was priceless. A great place overall with plenty of room.

Comfortable place to stay

This home was a wonderful base of operations during our recent vacation. While in the Portland area, we visited Mt. St. Helens and the Columbia River Gorge, and it was so nice to have such a roomy, relaxing place to stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen made it easy to fix meals. The neighborhood is very quiet, and it was easy to get around in Portland from here. Plenty of room for our family of 5.

Lovely and comfortable home

The place was perfect for us. Our group included 4 adults and 2 young children. The kids loved to have their own room as they would have shared a king bed with their Mom and Dad if we rented a hotel room instead. The two twin beds were perfect for them. The other two rooms were also comfortable. Everything was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and enjoy our meals. There are two living areas and we appreciated them because the adults were able to watch TV in one area, while the kids played in the other. The owners were thoughtful as they have several umbrellas hanging by the hallway, in case the visitors would need them. Also, just like the other reviewer mentioned, the home is located in a quiet neighborhood. We would look this up in our next visit to Portland and recommend to friends.

Lovely home and yard. Quiet neighborhood.

We stayed in Nancy's rental for a holiday weekend as we were in Portland for a wedding. The house is lovely- two family rooms. The fireplace and family room is on the opposite side of the house from the bedrooms, which well for us as we have family who live on opposite scheduled! This allowed part of our group to go to bed and wake up early without being disrupted by the rest of the family talking and laughing! The beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean, and lovely! Would recommend a stay! Also a few blocks away from a golf course which had a jogging trail. Walking distance to an amazing playground for youngsters. Easy access to groceries.
