Mirror Lake is an absolutely enchanting home that offers the luxury of lakefront as well as plenty of privacy. Even from the end of the drive, it feels like home. A very workable floor plan that includes four bedrooms with TVs, a loft, and three bathrooms can accommodate your group nicely. A great room with stone faced fireplace, game room, well stocked open kitchen and lots of natural light make gathering indoors pleasant. WiFi, too! Outside, enjoy three levels of open space, grill, and plenty of seating – not to mention the firepit. there are many local attractions within a few minutes so there is always something to do. or, you can sit on your own dock, put your feet in the water, and just reflect…

3 day family stay

Nice clean house on the lake. We skied, used the hot tub, played poker and other games. We liked the bedroom configuration and the local restaurants and bars.

Mirror Lake

We stayed for my 40th birthday celebration. It was a nice home in a lovely location. We enjoyed it being right on the Lake. And it had enough room for us. However, I’m not sure it was completely cleaned prior to our stay, as we found some goldfish and other items left behind. It was also extremely hot on the main level and we could not locate the thermostat like on the other levels. There was garbage left outside the trash bin that was not ours and a raccoon had spread the trash all over the driveway so we had to clean it up. There were also some broken tree limbs on the walkway that had not been cleaned up. There was a broken bottle in the lake that my kids found while “searching for treasure” as well as some other dangerous items that could’ve caused injury. Overall, it was a nice vacation, just would’ve wanted a few things to be different.

Perfect for girl’s weekend

This house had exactly what we needed for a girl’s weekend! Plenty of space and bathrooms for a large group. We loved the lake front view and hot tub!

Lake Harmony in March

"Mirror Lake" is a great house. We stayed 4 nights one of which gave us 6 inches of snow. Very peaceful.

Active family enjoyed stay at Lake Harmony

We enjoyed our stay at mirror lake, loved how close the house was to the lake and thoroughly enjoyed fishing from the dock, the hot tub, and fire pit (tip: fire wood is not supplied bring your own or purchase from a local store). We brought our own paddle board and inflatable kayak and could easily launch them from the rocky area next to the dock (tip best done w/water shoes). The foosball table was great entertainment on bad weather days. The listing is accurate and the following items are included: bath towels and linens (clean sheets/pillow cases are provided but you will need to make the beds upon arrival), travel size shampoo and soaps (sufficient for our 5 night stay), toilet paper (sufficient for our 5 night stay), a small roll of paper towels (we needed & supplied extra), 2 dishwasher tabs (we needed and supplied extra), dish soap (sufficient for our stay), & 1 garbage bag (we needed & supplied extra). We cooked most meals at the house & found the kitchen to be fully equipped with appliances & everything needed to make our meals including but not limited to pots/pans, casserole dishes, cookie sheets mixing bowls, hand mixer, coffee maker (drip/Keurig combo), toaster oven, cooking and eating utensils, etc. We supplied all of our own pantry items (including salt/pepper, spices, cooking oil/spray, condiments etc), plastic/tin wraps, storage bags, storage containers, snack clips but we came prepared based on the listing and reviews. We found the beds to be comfortable but wished the sheets provided included a fitted bottom sheet & top sheet instead of two flat/top sheets as the flat sheet on the bottom tended to come loose from the mattress while sleeping. Contrary to other reviews we found the heavy privacy curtains and sliding door between the two upstairs bedrooms to be ample for privacy (we assume modified by owner based on previous reviews). Our kids and their friends loved wakeboarding and tubing during a session with Lake Harmony Watersports and we all enjoyed day excursions to local hiking trails (Hawk Falls, climbing the rocks at Boulder Field/Hickory Run State Park) and exploring the area (Jim Thorpe) as well as an evening meal at Nick’s while listening to live music.

Mountain Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for meals in house. We didn't like the lack of privacy between the 2 bedrooms on the second floor. Would suggest a more private curtain on the sliders between the bedrooms. Also, the property was extremely icy. My brother feel getting to the house and ended up in the ER. He has a torn rotator cuff. Something should have been done prior to getting there. He was trying to salt the area so we could use the hot tub and fell while doing that. For the amount of money that is charged, that job should not be left up to the renters. For these reasons, I could not give 5 stars.

Cozy and fun!

Our multi-generational family stay at Mirror Lake was wonderful. The communication and assistance from the management agency was kind and top notch. We enjoyed the hot tub, cooking, movies, hiking, tubing, skiing, Boulder field, s’mores by the fire-pit, and more. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean! Thank you so much for a lovely time!

Great for Families

The house was clean, great waterfront location. Kids enjoyed swimming and fishing. House had plenty of room for our 13 family members. Close to some good restaurants. Wish we would have had a canoe/kayak. Nice mornings n the deck.

Mirror Lake

Overall the experience staying at Mirror Lake was very nice. The house itself was beautiful and the view of the lake is gorgeous. Communication with the Lake Harmony Rental Company was a bit scattered. I called once before and three times while staying in the house and no one answered or called back after leaving voicemails. For the price of the house you would think it would have basic items in the house like salt and pepper or even a broom but it doesn't. That shouldn't be a make or break for picking the house but something you should be prepared to bring when you stay. Like I said, overall the experience was great and we really enjoyed the beautiful home and lake. Would recommend to other large groups looking for a relaxing weekend.

Lake House Getaway

Beautiful location. Would have been nice if they had some water-toys available (rafts). House was very clean and fit our party of 10 nicely. Nicely landscaped. Hot tub looked nice and clean. Lower level had an extra fridge which was convenient. It was also a game room but a chemical or musty odor kept us from using it. Kitchen was well stocked. Once was enough. Would like to visit some larger lakes with public beach access.

Everything was good in the house when walked in. But they charged us the fee for providing bed sheets, paper towel and etc but they did not provide with enough m. The house is for 12 people to sleep and they did not provide with enough stuff. Besides that the house was clean and organized

Mirror Lake - Birthday Celebration Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented Mirror Lake for my husband's 60th Birthday with our family. There were 9 of us and although the house is not as big as it appears in the pictures, it was the perfect size for us. The second bedroom upstairs is attached to the master and only separated by glass doors which would be uncomfortable for couples who aren't family since there is only one bathroom upstairs. The house is lovely and the lake view is just amazing. Unfortunately, we had rain on the Saturday we were there so we weren't able to enjoy the lake. Since check in is at 4:00PM, we only had the lake for Friday evening. The only suggestion I have is to be flexible for checkin time. Otherwise, this was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday with family. Everyone had a great time.

Review of Mirror Lake

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Basement smells incredibly musty. The pictures lead you to believe that you can enjoy the lake and have access to the downstairs bar, fridge, and card room on the ground level - there is no access. The check-in time of 4 oclock is not in the contract and was never communicated to us ahead of time until we asked.
