The property was very charming and fit our group of 10 quite comfortably. We could walk to all of our favorite spots and can't wait to stay here again next year.
We had an awesome Thanksgiving together. The property was perfect for our group. There were plenty of rooms and all well appointed. We especially liked the morning sun in the back porch-room. Everything we needed was there in the kitchen for preparing meals, and we loved being able to walk into town. Annapolis is a beautiful town and this property was a really fun, old building right in the heart of town.
Our group of 6 adults were so comfortable in this lovely historic home. We all enjoyed the accommodations including the outdoor space and how close it was to the Naval Academy and restaurants. Parking and unloading briefly on the street and then moving to the free garage later was no problem at all! We will be looking to staying there again! Thank you!
This house is quintessential Annapolis and in the heart of everything in the city. The house is old, but is well kept and has a lot of rooms for all your guest gatherings. Susan was great to communicate with and always available when needed!
What an amazing place! Perfect in every way. We had a large group coming in for reunion, and didn’t want a bunch of hotel rooms… we wanted to hang out and share “sea stories”, and be close to the action. This place was amazing!!!! We are already planning another trip … and this will be our Annapolis Go To!
In town for wedding at Governor Calvert Inn. Perfect location. Easuly enough bathrooms for 10 people to get dressed and ready. Great relaxatuon before and after. Would stay again and have already recommended to others.
Our family loved the tri-level home with plenty of space for everyone. Loved the proximity to USNA as we were staying for Plebe Parent Weekend. It was so nice to be around the corner from our Midshipmen! Owner was quick to respond with questions. We hope to stay here again when we visit with our extended family.
Fantastic location and house. Birthday weekend wit four other couples. House was as described and well equipped. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.
unique historic property makes you feel right at home in historic downtown Annapolis. the property is well-maintained and very clean. House is walking distance to everything you want to see in downtown Annapolis, including a short walk over the Eastport drawbridge where you can visit “restaurant row” along Severn Avenue. Would definitely stay here again!
This house perfectly fit our needs to stay near USNA and downtown. Out first priority was to find someplace within walking distance of USNA gate as we didn't want to have to take shuttle buses to and from the USNA yard. It is a very nice old home that easily fit our group of eight people. I will certainly consider staying here again for future trips to Annapolis.
We loved our stay at this charm filled home. It was clean, well stocked and the location was unbelievable. The property was located in the heart of it all, on a beautiful street, steps away from the Naval Academy, historic sites, restaurants, shops and water taxi. Thank you Susan for accommodating us, we were so happy to have found Heart of Historic District, the memories we made there with our family members will be cherished forever.
The property was located so close to the Naval Academy which made it easy to walk to the various activities during commissioning week. The drawback to parking in a garage made the loading and unloading a bit challenging because our midshipmen ( now Marine officers) had to bring his 4 years of collecting stuff to the location. Overall, the space and location were suitable.
Nicest vrbo i have ever stayed in
Spacious, beautifully furnished. Easy walking disrance to downtown ,,USNA, and capital. Deffinitey would
highly recommend
The location of the property is amazing - close to everything in Annapolis. The house is well equipped for cooking and has several spaces for gathering. We had a perfect stay there.
I've stayed at this property before and the location is superb. Everything went as advertised and I keep this property in mind every time I come to Annapolis.
Great communication with Susan and the property location in relation to the downtown waterfront is hard to beat. There were some minor issues that we chose not to bring to the owner’s attention since we were busy and on the go - plus it was easy enough to find a workable solution. Just to be clear, we are confident that Susan would have addressed any and all issues brought to her attention. Our family is already talking about a future visit to Annapolis!
Simultaneous boat show + 4 reunions + football weekend seriously limited convenient and affordable hotel options in town. Susan's house was a better choice in any case. Perfect for our 9-adult get together. Fully equipped kitchen was perfect. Thank you, Susan, for a great weekend with friends. We will visit again soon!
This is a wonderful home in the historic district. The host is very responsive and knowledgeable. I have absolutely no complaints, everything was as described.
