Welcome to Scenic Beach Retreat at Cape Paterson.
This large family holiday house is located 800 metres from the Cape Paterson Surf Beach, The Channel Store and The Tavern. The Park Parade Reserve with a playground, cricket pitch and oval is only a short walk away.
There is plenty of room for your family and friends at Scenic Beach Retreat.
The house includes 3 Lounge Rooms, 5 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, Kitchen, Dining Room, Laundry, Games Room ( with Billiard Table / Dartboard ), Outdoor BBQ and Dining Table, Paved front yard with Basketball Ring.

The house is split on 2 levels.
The upper level has 2 living areas, kitchen / dining room, laundry , bathroom and 3 bedrooms comprising of -
1. Master Bedroom with King Bed and Ensuite
2. Queen Bed
3. Single Bed and Bunk Bed set

The lower level of the house is self contained with separate entry.
There is a living area, bathroom and 2 bedrooms comprising of -
4.Queen Bed
5. Single Bed and Bunk Bed set

Enjoy time with your family and friends playing one of the many board games or watch a DVD together.
There is a small courtyard out the back of the property with a retractable clothesline.

You must bring your own linen.
( Sheets, pillow cases, doona covers, towels )
The house will have pillows, doonas, mattress protectors and tea towels only.
For bookings of more than 10 people, there is an extra charge of $20 per person per night.

Excellent long weekend stay

This was a fantastic house for a large group, with plenty of beds, bedrooms and living spaces. Vanessa was a wonderful host, providing all the information and advice we needed, regular communication, plus being so generous with early check in and late check out due to extreme heat on the weekend we were staying. We also enjoyed the treats left for us! The house is an easy walk to beach, shops, pub and there’s a park just at the end of the street. Would happily book again!

Great place for big families and groups

We had a lovely time at the cape in this house. It is well set up for big groups and kids with multiple living spaces and lots of group activities like pool, darts, board games and sports gear (eg basketball). We had an unfortunate occurrence where the cleaner had missed the downstairs area by accident. However the upstairs was nice and clean so I expect it is normally fine apart from this once off issue. Vanessa was very accomodating and refunded the cleaning fee plus extra for our trouble.

Summer fun at the Cape

Once again a great stay in a very comfy, clean and well set up house. All the things we needed are here, it's our 4th annual stay! Vanessa is helpful and kind and easy to communicate with. So handy to the beaches too. Games for kids, lots of space and two fridges means the living is easy!

Easy holiday living

A relaxed environment - would recommend as suitable for a large family or multi-generations. A Downstairs area especially good for teenagers. Upstairs spacious and well appointed. Hostess helpful and supportive. Very enjoyable space.

Another Cape great

Our 3rd time in this house, we really love it. So comfy and clean and well set up. We love the flexibility of the spaces for the 10 people we bring. The owner is easy to deal with and very friendly. We will definitely book it again and again.

Great place for families

Two families stayed - 4 adults and 5 kids - and the property was perfect. Good living spaces, separate section for the kids to play, enough out-door space for play and bbq and outdoor dining. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, but certainly not far enough to be a problem. The online photos do not do it justice! Great place.

Great big house

Lots of room for our group of 10. We stayed here last year and booked it again. Kitchen was well equipped, owner was easy to talk to. The neighbours were friendly too. Our kids enjoyed the basketball hoop, DVDs and games. We had a great holiday here.

Summer holiday at the Cape

"It was super duper fun" said ms 9. "The basketball was so fun. I played basketball every day" said Mr 6. Mum said " a dishwasher makes a holiday an actual holiday". Dad said "plenty of room in this house for adults and kids to enjoy themselves".

Great weekend

We are three families, 6 adults, 6 kids and we had a lovely time. The house was more modern than what we expected and everything we needed was at the house. It had everything we needed for kids with plastic bowls and cups, with games and sport stuff. We had a few daddy long legs and cobwebs downstairs but that's expected. Vanessa warned us that the downstairs would be cold, but the heater that was in the room was great and we bought the other small heater and only used it to take the cold edge off. The only thing was hubby took a shower later on Sat arvo and didn't have any hot water. We love Cape Patterson and will definitely will be back again.

Ideal place for extended family to stay in a great holiday location

We had a an excellent time at the blue bricked summer beach house. Loved the décor with the beach memorabilia through the house of paddle boat oars, clock and pictures. There is room for extended families to live together, with multiple living areas and 2 fully functioning air conditioners. The family oriented cape Patterson bay beach was just a 10 minute walk away where we did snorkelling and enjoyed swimming/posing in the natural rock pool. Upon returning from the beach, it was great that there were 3 showers available to use. The cooking facilities were in good working order and we were able to enjoy a roast and other home cooked meals. There was a large dining table to enjoy the meal together. It's a mere 15 drive to the Inverloch beach and other local attractions such as Eagle's Next and the caves. The veranda was great to hang the wetsuits to dry. In the evenings we enjoyed a casual game of pool and board games supplied. There was a basketball ring and ball supplied but we decided to use the area for parking. The place was very clean and beachy. The owner was friendly and responsive. Thanks very much for the surprise welcome gift as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Awesome place and nice for a large group

Had a fun time at this property. The property owners very friendly. I would suggest them to take some professional photographs and upload. The house is actually much better looking than the pictures. Would surely stay here again.
