Nestled between historic Sandwich and Barnstable village, you’ll have quick access (within walking distance) to Sandy Neck Beach Park, a 6-mile barrier dune-filled beach offering fun and relaxation for all ages with life guards, snack bar, bath house, scenic sunsets, bird watching and even hiking and 4x4 trails for the adventurous. Head in the other direction and take a short walk to shops, penny candy and a wonderful restaurant.
While in Sandwich you can visit the Heritage Museums & gardens; bike along numerous paved paths; ride, run or walk along the 7-mile long Cape Cod Canal; or take a leisurely kayak trip through the many nearby marshes and creeks. Public and private golf courses are close by as is miniature golf. You are also in easy reach of the bustling towns of Hyannis and Falmouth, where you can experience more fine dining, shopping, art galleries and ferry access to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.

Amazing find…. Last minute or not

We were so fortunate to have found this place … booked literally 4 weeks before our stay. It was our first time in Cape Cod, and this was a great location to explore the island. Room sizes were great.. for an 18 yr old, 14 yr old and us. Lots of charm throughout the home, the landscaping and the quaint Sandy Meck beach. There seems to be much more to this town than beach, food and drink (proximity to Tree house a strong plus lol)… that we will need to check out next time. Super reachable owner for mundane questions. Would definitely book here again.

wonderful Cape cod house

We had a great stay at this adorable house in Sandwich. The house is immaculate with a wonderful modern fully equipped kitchen and great space for our family of 5. The 3 rooms upstairs are very comfortable and there is an additional room in the basement. The house really has everything you need for a vacation. The location is good - while it is on a main road it was not very busy, and we could walk to Sandy Beach in 10 minutes. On beach days we did end up driving/paying for parking as we had lots of gear. The beach itself is really great especially at low tide and while rocky in some parts there are large stretches of sand especially at low tide. Such a great place to relax! We were also a short drive from awesome restaurants such as Fishermans View and Seafood Sams and had a nice dinner from Amari down the road (Italian). The Stop and Shop in Sandwich is also a close 15-20 min drive. Deb our host was always very responsive to all our questions. The only small negative in our mind were the mosquitos that I'm sure would be an issue at most houses in the area since we were quite close to the marshes. We do hope to visit again.

Super Stay in Sandwich

My family and I had a wonderful time in Sandwich! This was the cleanest VRBO property that we ever rented! The back yard was so spacious and relaxing. There were two rabbits who visited each morning and evening. The neighborhood was quiet, and there were so many things to do within a short driving distance. I highly recommend this property. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Perfect Getaway!

The perfect beach house

The house was lovely open and spacious great for enjoying family. The four of us were extremely comfortable. The only thing that need improvement is the King bed was not comfortable at all. There seemed to be a whole in the middle. But the home itself beautiful. Would love to come and stay again. Thank you

Goddess Reunion

We (3 sisters and our daughters) chose this location just and it was perfect. It was bright and airy and within walking distance to the beach. We absolutely loved the kitchen table and the outdoor space. They not only encourage relaxation but also echoed with laughter for the 4 days we were there. The host is quick to respond to any issues. It was a wonderful residence to come together

Great Cape Vacation

My family stayed at Debi's property for 2 weeks and it was great. The location was perfect, house was very roomy with lots of sleeping options, comfortable beds, & a spacious yard. This house was very clean but there is a bit of a sugar ant problem around the sink. Manageable once you know to make sure you clean well and put all food away immediately. Would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you Debi!

Great vacation

The house was exactly as described- very clean and inviting. The living room is cozy and the master bedroom is beautiful. Very well stocked, lots of books. We loved sitting outside enjoying coffee in the morning and grilling in the evening. Great neighborhood, very private. Walk to the beautiful Sandy Neck beach - never crowded. Host is very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely love it here!

This was our second year here and we are hoping to come back next year. The house is clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Debi was always quick to answer any question. Our grandkids love it here and feel right at home. We used the backyard and patio area every morning for coffee with the bunnies and evening for snacks and dinner. The beach is right at end of the road and we loved taking advantage of the beautiful sunsets. Close enough to the canal, restaurants, and shopping. Another thumbs up. Thanks for sharing your home.

Beautiful House perfect for Family’s

We stayed here a weekend with our two toddlers and another family that also had small kids, and the place was perfect! There was plenty of space for everyone, the house was super cute and clean, and the place was very kid friendly. The kiddos loved the backyard and seeing the wild bunnies that came around. We ended up driving to the beach, but it was close enough we could’ve walked and taken a stroller easily if we wanted too. The area is beautiful and we have wonderful memories from this vacation!

Relax on the Cape

My husband and I have always loved and enjoyed Cape Cod. Its a truly special place that offers so much. Whether its biking, kayaking, taking photos of the ever changing scenery, or just lounging on the beach with friends and family, its our favorite place to hang. We've both vacationed on the Cape for years, since we were kids actually, and we've extended that tradition to our three children, who've we've been taking with us since they were infants. We realized our dream this past year when we were able to purchase our own house by the sea. We fell in love with the house as soon as we stepped into it, and we're sure you will too.

Why they chose this property

This stretch of beach, which is just a short 1/2 mile walk, is what sold us on this property. We have rented a home a few miles further down for the past 10 years and have grown to love this area. The sunsets on this beach are absolutely stunning. As everyone is packing up and leaving the beach, it's such a great time to come and bring dinner/drinks and sit and enjoy. Another bonus of this location is how close it is to the Cape's Sagamore Bridge and the Cape Cod Canal which is great for riding bikes, jogging or walking. The Sandwich area is very historic and quaint. Lovely Rt. 6A isn't as crowded like so much of the Cape on the other side at Rt. 28. There are many unique craft shops for miles along Rt. 6A from our house. Our location is less than 1 1/2 hrs. from our home which is great! It's also close to Logan Airport (about 1 1/2 hr. away)

What makes this property unique

This property has been completely updated. It has hardwood flooring throughout and lots of windows making it bright and cheery on the inside. On the outside, it has a beautiful full size yard with lots of mature plantings and privacy-- great for lawn games, picnics, cooking out and relaxation after a long day at the beach. The house is fully equipped, with an open floor plan on the first floor and access to the yard from 2 different rooms. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 finished room in the basement that also has a queen size bed to add to the comfort of the home.
