Our home has unobstructed views of East vail Mountain- gorgeous Aspen trees and a cul de sac with 3 lovely homes. This home was just renovated. We took down walls to open up the main floor, purchased some new contemporary furniture, chandelier, and new art work. This home is very private. It is located on the bus line; simply walk out your door with your heated ski boots and pick up the bus right to downtown Vail. The home is well appointed with all the kitchen luxuries you need for hosting a great dinner. Granite counter tops, contemporary furniture, and a wrap around deck with a outdoor gas BBQ & smoker. Hot tub is private and for our guests only.

Very nice property good location right on the shuttle route which stops right in front of the house to take it to the mountain. House was very well stocked and the owner was very pleasant to deal with.

Great ski vacation!
We loved this house in East Vail. The bus is so easy and convenient to Vail Village / Golden Peak area. The house is very well appointed; we did lots of cooking with our family over the week after skiing each day. If you’re a skier - they have an excellent t garage for ski equip storage and glove/boot drier. The house is beautifully and warmly decorated. We felt very relaxed with hot tub, fires each night, and comfortable furniture. We definitely want to come back!

Great location and set up at Heather’s property. The standalone condo with ample space and supplies, garage, and nice wraparound porch was ideal. Convenient location to catch the shuttle over to Lionshead or Vail Village, definitely one i would book again. thanks for a great vacation

Maintenance issues
The house was nice and big enough for 8 adults. We stayed 10 nights. It was nice to have 4 bathrooms. However, there is a problem with the maxing valves in each shower. The water ran extremely hot so it scalded you or ice cold. There was no in between. The outdoor hot tub water level was low upon arrival. The only way to add water was to fill buckets of water manually using the outdoor spigot. We contacted the owner. However, it turned out to be a pump issue and was not resolved until the last day of our departure. The lock on the doorknob going out to the garage jammed and we were not able to exit this way. Also, the ice on the front stairs was at least 5 inches thick so it would be extremely hazardous to go out that way. I contacted the owner about recycling and she said to leave all recyclable material in bags in the garage and the housekeeper would take care of it. Fast forward day 11 after we checked out, the owner held our deposit and accused us of trashing her house. She said she had photos but never sent them to me. Her complaints were as follows: We left pillows and blankets in different rooms. We left dirty towels everywhere (in bathrooms and in the laundry room). We left many bags of garbage in the garage. Obviously 8 adults staying 10 nights will produce lots of garbage. The owner never told us if and when to put out the trash! In my opinion if the owner considers this trashing a house, she is delusional and needs a new housekeeper!

Fantastic Property
Family had a great time at Vail and this was the perfect property to base from. It was clean, quiet, well appointed, and perfectly located a few miles out of the Village. Also, and importantly for some, it's directly adjacent to a shuttle into the Village for those who can't, or don't want to drive. This property met our expectations in every way, and we'll be re-booking for a winter ski trip. Highly recommended!

Family time and a wedding
My children and their spouses came to spend a week together and enjoy my niece's wedding at the end of the week. We had a wonderful time enjoying hiking, yoga, shops and of course the wedding. We were in the hot tub every night and grilled several evening meals. House was just superb.

Perfect house for a family vacation. The house had comfortable beds with upgraded bedding. The kitchen is well stocked and the owner is very responsive to to questions/requests. We love the East Vail area and the house is super close to a bus stop, so it's very convenient for getting to Vail Village.

Amazing Summer Getaway Again!
This was our second year in a row staying at the house. We cannot say enough about the house, the location and the owner. Everything was great, the house was ultra clean and stocked with everything you need for a nice relaxing vacation. The location is perfect because it is not in downtown Vail so you have some room to yourself plus close access to public transportation and hiking trails. You can walk to a lot of trails and do not have to drive. The owner is very attentive and ensures you’re having a good time and will address any questions promptly. Everything is as described and we cannot be more happy with our experience. I think we are making this a regular summer vacation destination for our family because we had such a great time and you can’t beat the location to so do so many things! Definitely recommend!

Perfect for Our Ski Vacation
Awesome house and location. So happy to have not been in crowded Vail Village..... was so easy to drive into Vail for dinner and skiing. Beaver Creek close too, and we went skiing there twice. Easy drive to Minturn for dinner one night also. House had plenty of room, so our family of four were not on top of each other. Loved making fires at the end of each day -- a fun activity that kept everyone occupied. Beds and bedrooms super comforatble and instructions getting in and out of the house super easy. Would definitely recommend this property and the owner was amazing with answering our questions and providing logistical suggestions w/ ski rentals, restaurants, lockers at Vail, the bus system, etc. Would definitely recommend this house. Was great for our family. House was comfortable, down to earth and away from busy and congested Vail Village area.

Best VRBO Experience Ever
The property owner, Heather, is, by far, the nicest, most communicative, most accommodating host I've ever dealt with. And, the house is wonderful, too. It feels like a home, not a rental. It's very cozy and comfortable, stocked with everything you'd need, is surrounded by greenery, has a great hot tub, and a nice front deck that looks straight at the mountain. The location in East Vail is terrific, too. About a four minute drive to Vail Village, where there is plenty of free parking. Or, jump on the Vail town shuttle--the stop is a 15 second walk. And the home is close to five or six hiking trailheads, very close to the Gore Creek Trail, and very close to the Vail Pass bike trail. We have definitely found our new Vail travel spot. Thanks, Heather, for a wonderful week!

Awesome experience in Vail
The best experience I have ever had with a property owner with a place I have rented. The property was maintained well and the descriptions were very accurate. Heather was unbelievably responsive and was so helpful and provided so much information! The location was outstanding and we conveniently located to all the things to do. I cannot recommend Heather and the property any higher! We will definitely be staying at the property again!

Beautiful, spacious, updated clean home right off the bus route -10 min to Vail Village
We were 2 families - 3 adults and 4 -"20" something boys. This house was perfect to accommodate us all. With 4 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths, everyone had their own space. The home was updated, beautifully decorated in a warm and cozy way. The perfect ski getaway. Hot tub on the deck & working fireplace in the family room. The owners thought of everything - the pantry was stocked with many items, they had a bar cart with top shelf alcohol and a welcome bottle of red wine upon our arrival. Heather -the owner- was extremely helpful with recommendations, prior to arriving in December, as it was our 1st trip to Vail. We were there over Christmas, and she was always available to answer any questions I had about the house and the area. The house is steps away from the bus that runs 2 stops to Vail Village. This was very helpful as the boys could come & go whenever they wanted to ski. One recommendation - if you rent car - definitely get one with snow tires and good traction on icy roads. There is a small hill to go up before you turn on to the street the house is on. It doesn't get any sun so very icy and snow tires a MUST. Thank you Heather & Carl for making us feel at home when we were away!!

Hostess is excellent, extremely well equipped (cooking gear, Sonos), extremely well supplied (t.p., spices, condiments, detergent), but mostly a great layout and location. Each bedroom has private bath (awesome) and is separate from the others. Very private. Living, kitchen, dining, laundry, hot tub, common areas are on same level, with a “public” toilet”. Early birds, late nighters can enjoy conversation without bothering those sleeping, the floodplan is spread out and very quiet. Bus system in Vail is excellent. Bus stop is 20-30 steps from garage. Oh, maybe I should mention the gear room off the garage, with a boot heater and gear storage so you don’t need to drag your helmets, gloves, boots, and stuff upstairs. Highly recommend.

New Years in Vail!
The house was just what anyone would need. Everything was provided so that you did not have to buy little things like staples. The were ample towels, comfy bedding and even a washer and dryer. It is just a car ride or bus ride to Vail Village. Very warm and comfortable! The only down-fall was there were not any instructions for the hot tub which we had some excited children splashing water out of. We noticed a low water level but having not owned a hot tub we thought maybe there was a main line which could fill it back up to needed levels. The maid service which we paid for called the owner immediately upon arrival and took pictures of popcorn on the floors which was left by children from not having time to sweep up the next morning with a 6AM departure to make a flight out of Denver which I felt was not necessary. We sweep the floors every day and ran the dishwasher every day not to leave any dirty dishes behind. The maid did find a tear in the comforter in the bunk bed room that was not known upon leaving and was a BED BATH AND BEYOND comforter of which do wear and tear with wear. We offered up our security deposit of $200, although nothing was severely damaged and it was taken. It is a GREAT house for families, however, I believe the owners are not accustomed to having many children in the house, although one would think the bunk bed room is for kids. Suggestion would be for the owners to have a limit on children that can stay in the home so that they are not surprised by the "in's and out's" of kids on vacation. Again .. Nothing was damaged beyond minimal repair. ALL AND ALL ... It is a wonderful house which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Wonderful home! Both cozy and spacious.
This home worked perfect for our group of 7 adults. Highlights include: 1. Bus stop is just steps away 2. Kitchen and Living Room are on different floor from bedrooms. This was great for people staying up later than the others which didn't bother the early-to-bed guests. 3. Hot tub is top of the line and is only one step from door. 4. Fireplace makes home super cozy. 5. Pretty much any amenity you need is there (sound system, cable, wifi, desktop computer, kitchen supplies, firewood, outdoor grill, etc.)

Wonderful house for vacation with kids!
This house was PERFECT for our summer vacation with four adults and four kids. It is in excellent condition, and it fit all eight of us perfectly. The location is great - it's quiet and peaceful, but just a quick car trip or shuttle ride (the shuttle stop is just steps away!) from Vail Village. And having Heather just a text or phone call away was invaluable. She was a delight to work with, always eager to help with recommendations or with our questions about the house. All in all, absolutely wonderful!!!!

Terrific Home to Stay for Avid Skiing Family!
My husband & I chose this home as a family gathering place for our young adult children to come meet us from MN, WI, MT and AZ. The home is ideally located near the Vail Shuttle and worked just perfect for our needs with enough bedrooms/bathrooms to allow everyone the ability to get out the door each morning and to return to at the end of each wonderful day of skiing to relax in the hot tub. It was convenient to store ski gear in the garage and make use of the mechanical room set up with automated ski boot/mitten dryers! It was also so nice to have the kitchen stocked with helpful incidentals such as a variety of spices and condiments. The Owners Heather & Carl were very responsive and followed up with helpful answers to any questions/details needed. We would definitely rent this home again!

Best place in Vail. A definite must stay...
Everything about our getaway was incredible. Heather's place is beautifully set just off the main drag in east Vail, steps from the free bus route that goes in to the village. So you are just away from everything thing so it is quiet, yet connected to everything by a 10 minute bus. There is the small grocery and other convenience stores just down the street if you don't want to go into the village itself. The house itself was amazing. Lots of space, super clean, and a fully loaded pantry to help us out on our vacation. A large wonderful personal hot tub on the balcony, washer and dryer. Just anything you could imagine to make a getaway cozy and perfect. I was in contact with Heather most days of my visit as she wanted to keep in touch to make sure our stay was great. So great, we actually met up to say hello. Her and her family are wonderful people and we hope to come back to Vail to spend more time at their place in the future. Thanks so much Heather...
