Fabulously Restored Manor House, with private pool, sleeps 12
The Domaine de Seguinet is an exclusive estate set in over 18 acres of landscaped grounds with rivers and swimming/fishing lake.
The houses all have wifi throughout. We are equipped for children of all ages with cots for the little ones, through to swings, badminton & table tennis. The extensive grounds are a nature lover's paradise - with swimming/fishing lake (with landing jetty and boat for our visitors use).
Manoir de Seguinet has all the grandeur that the name suggests. Even as you approach the house you will be struck by its beauty - pretty painted front door set in the fortified part of the manor. Enter through the front door into a haven of cool elegance that is Manoir de Seguinet.
The house is perfect for a number of families sharing, friends holidaying together or for a large family party.
The accommodation is infinitely adaptable with six lovely, bright and airy bedrooms. The bedrooms are a mix of super king, king, double & twin rooms. Three of the bedrooms are en-suite the other three share a spacious family bathroom. In addition we are able to accommodate up to 3 babies/children - having a number of cots & children's beds available.
Downstairs the main rooms open of a cool tiled hallway. Three characterful living rooms with plentiful seating open out through French doors onto the terrace running the length of the house & the fabulous swimming pool beyond.
The large kitchen & dining room are perfectly located for small & large parties alike - ideal for casual dining in the kitchen or a more formal meal in the adjacent dining room. Cool and shady a lovely haven away from the midday sun!
Stepping out from the airy sitting rooms onto the enormous terrace you will find a vast pergola, perfectly positioned for dining & relaxing in the shade - with a dining table seating 12 as well as lovely outdoor lounge furniture with views over the pool and the gardens beyond.
The pool is 12 x 5 metres & heated. There is extensive terracing all around with plentiful sun loungers and surrounded by borders overflowing with a lovely Mediterranean planting schemes.
At the far end of the pool is a shady summer retreat with outdoor table & barbecue - yet another spot to enjoy the views of the Manoir - perfect at the end of the day, when the pool is shimmering.
The well equipped kitchen provides all that you will need to create some great regional meals.

About the host
Hosted by Tas and Martyn Finnigan
We are an English couple who fell in love with this area and decided to spend time in France. Over the years we have restored our three properties lovingly with a lot of attention to detail. It has become a completely different way of life for us to immerse ourselves in the French way of life.
Why they chose this property
This property was large enough to have three complete letting units as well as a home for ourselves. It has a lot of history and is over two hundred years old. It has been there long before us and some of our work will remain long after us. It has been a labour of love.
What makes this property unique
The property is nestled in the valley with two rivers forming the border of the property. It has 18 acres of land with lots of things to explore and do. There is a lake for fishing enthusiasts.
In this modern world of computers and iPads, it gives families an opportunity to have a Huckleberry Finn experience.
