About this property

Enjoy views of Pikes Peak from our backyard patio or front yard tree swing! Our ranch style layout features an open floor plan with finished basement including 4 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms.

Feel free to relax on the couch or oversized reclining chair and watch cable or stream your favorite movies on our 65” television in the basement. Rest easy in a large bedroom with a 50” TV in a private sitting area. Our basement master suite also features a king size bed along with a full bathroom in the basement.

Take your pick from our 3 inviting bedrooms and a full bathroom on the main floor. The main floor master bedroom offers a king size bed, walk-in closet and 50” wall mounted television. The other 2 rooms on the main floor each have a queen size bed. There are no bunk beds in our house.

A wood burning fireplace and reclining sectional that seats 4 adults comfortably in the living room. We have a 70” wall mounted television off the dining area next to the kitchen that creates a comfortable experience for everyone! There’s a Keurig & traditional coffee maker plus plenty of kitchen gadgets along with typical seasonings & condiments available for our guests. We have an XBox one with 2 controllers & 2 headsets. Our propane bbq grill & electric smoker are on the back patio - feel free to use anything you need during your stay!

Our favorite eateries like Salsa on the Rocks, Cleats Grill, Zapata Tacos and Narai Thai are all within walking distance. The grocery store & library are also up the street in the grocery store shopping plaza. Enjoy the abundance of hiking trails, parks & local attractions the west side of Colorado Springs is known for!

Travel for event at Air Force Academy

Close to freeway, Academy, shops, and sites! Charming house, spacious and up to date. Host responsive to call as needed. Could use minor face-lift for outside patio area.

We had a great time. Close to everything and a beautiful view of Piles Peak. We lived in the Springs for 8 years back in the 90s. It was so wonderful to be back in the city for an extended weekend!

Family Vacation

Spacious and convenient to USAFA

Nice big place with room to spread out, including a downstairs TV room and nice outdoor deck. We had some trouble figuring out how to make the TV in the master bedroom work so the property could benefit from an instruction manual (e.g., we had to ask about wi-fi and password after arriving). The only "miss" was that the hairdryer had disappeared without the hosts realizing, so we did not have one as promised. But the host was very responsive and easy to work with.

Comfortable place to stay and relax

We found the property to be just as listed on VBRO. The house was very comfortable to stay with plenty of space and comfortable furniture for our family (5 adults and one child). The property is located in a very nice/quiet neighborhood and reasonably close to all the attractions we wanted to visit (Manitou, North Pole, Cliff Dwellings, Cog train, Woodland Park, Eleven Mile Canyon, etc). Owner was easy to communicate with and always responded very quickly! The only negative we had was that the back yard was a little bit cluttered and could use some TLC.

A little disappointment

The house was clean I wish window units in other rooms they were little warm. From back yard I was hoping to see Moutain views off patio was big TVs camper blocked the view. Other than that it was good stay.

Very comfortable & great communication

Our group of 8 loved this place! Beds and sheets were luxurious, the house and kitchen were very clean, and it was located within about 20 minutes of most attractions. We enjoyed watching the deer snack in the backyard and watching the storms come in over the mountains. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice neighborhood

Deer sighting all around the neighborhood. Quiet area, trails and parks close by. The house is perfect for relaxation and has plenty of space. Loved the foosball!!

Close to Everything!

Comfortable house located close to groceries AND sightseeing locales. The backyard was a little overgrown, but the sunflowers were a great attractant for birds. There were also rabbits, squirrels and deer nearby in the neighborhood to view. Our boys also enjoyed playing the foosball game in the basement recreation area.

Great Trip

This property was everything we wanted and much more. There was plenty of room for our party of 7. My daughters especially enjoyed the hammock and the foosball table. The adults enjoyed the spectacular view of Pikes Peak from the backyard deck and daily visits from the family of deer. We will definitely stay here on our next trip back.
