Affordable Family Fun... Lancaster County's Southern End Junction

Located in the heart of southern Lancaster County and conveniently situated at the crossroads of the very popular and scenic routes 222 and 272. Here you are surrounded by authentic Amish country and wide open spaces. Come and relax in this newly renovated and spacious apartment. Each room is decorated in farmhouse decor with a subtle collection of hand-painted antique dressers and cute finds. Cook a quick meal with produce from the local farmers in a fully equipped kitchen or even wash those dirty play clothes from your busy day's adventures. Sit out under the large walnut trees as the wind blows while watching the farmers farm the hillside or have a catch in the large open yard. At night settled down after a BBQ and gather around the fire pit with friends and family.

Take a beautiful drive north through the rolling hills of farm country and you can visit Lancaster County's Premium Outlet stores and the surrounding attractions like SIght and Sound Theaters, American Music Theater, and go exploring in the cute towns of Intercourse and Bird in Hand, Pa. A very short travel south and you'll be sitting on the shores of the Susquehanna River while visiting historic towns like Port Deposit, Maryland or even the bay in North East, Maryland. Bring your boat along and park it with ease in our large parking area. Don't forget those binoculars for a quick visit to the Conowingo Damn for bird watching along the river. Stop and visit the Conowingo pool while enjoying hilltop views of the Susquehanna River. Baltimore is just a little over an hour from this location as well as Philadelphia. Other places like the gorgeous Longwood Gardens and a fun day at Yogi Bear Jellystone Waterpark are within 20-40 minutes away.

Great PA Holiday Stay
This quaint property was the perfect place for us during our recent visit from Florida. Having lived in the area for years, we were familiar with the surroundings and this was the perfect location for us. The furniture was comfortable and the property was very clean. We had Christmas at the property with our young children and it was great. We bought an30 tree from Walmart and a few strands of lights and made it our own for that week. Plenty of parking in the adjacent lot with a walkway to the front door. Plenty of dishes to make meals and a washer and dryer on site to take clean laundry home and wash anything needed during the stay. We will likely book this place again on our next visit.

The house was very nice and cute very quiet neighborhood . The only fault we had was no lighting on the walkway. We bought a flashlight so we could see at night.

My team and I stay at this home to race at yellow bullet Cecil county raceway. Nice location and had all the little things you would need including coffee. Of course we won the pro 275 class so next year we will be back. The host was a great communicator as well.

Excellent Get Away
The property was exactly as listed and the yard was even more than I expected. We thoroughly enjoyed our time away. The playset in the yard was clean and in excellent condition and was a HUGE bonus for our just turned 3 year old! It kept her entertained for hours and allowed us to sit and enjoy our time outside. Will definitely come back!

Sister's Weekend 2024
This was our first VRBO experience so we don't have much to compare it to but have had several Air B& B stays and were much more satisfied at them. This VRBO did not mention on it's website that it is currently under renovations, so only had one way to enter the house and there were no railings on uneven steps; did not provide basic amenities such as tissues, more than one roll of toilet paper, or a TV with instructions on how to use. When we asked, we were told we needed to use our own log in to access streaming services, which we did not feel comfortable doing, and couldn't even get local channels to monitor potential storms that were approaching. Also, there were no hand rails on the entry stairs.

Peaceful sweet home
We went for a getaway after Sight and Sound Theater show as my Bday gift and me and my family loved it. loved the peaceful atmosphere and the location where this property is. Very clean, comfortable beds and couches, central A/C, Wi-Fi and smart TV. Also my son loved the little playground and I enjoyed the view during the morning. I would recommend if you want to be out of city life :)

We had a great time at Gina's house for our annual ladies' weekend! The house was clean and cozy. We enjoyed using the firepit and walking on the back roads surrounded by farms. Gina was very accommodating and was quick to respond to communication.

My daughter was playing in a lacrosse tournament nearby (20 mins) and needs a quiet night sleep. Gina’s place was clean, beds were comfortable, and little amenities were appreciated like a fresh bar of soap and pretty folded towels. Gina responded quick to emails. There are some trucks that zip down the road early morning, but it was quiet and dark other than that. Thanks for hosting us! We would definitely book again.

My Vacation
The house is spectacular, the truth is that everything is clean and organized. It is in a super quiet place and Regina is the best, always aware of everything and responds quickly if you have a need. I loved it and would go again 100% without thinking about it.

Good Choice
The rental was pretty good for the price. Relatively clean and well-maintained. It’s an industrial area so it’s a little loud but overall a good option and very centrally located to everything we needed/wanted to do.

Once we found the location (GPS directed us to the OTHER intersection (south not north) we.pulles.intothe location. Not impressed with the work yard equipment & chain link.fence. Manuevering the steps & distance feom car to entrance was challening. My husband is rexovering from back surgery. My fault for not asking questions I know now to ask. Once inside, itwas very nice. Many extras not always found ( toiletries, spices, detergents). Amazed at how quiet it was. The yard was very nice.
