Maintenance of property

The house is lovely and has fine amenities. Unfortunately the street, driveway and sidewalks were not well treated. I broke my ankle outside the house after slipping on the ice and our trip ended abruptly.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was large, airy, and in great condition. The location couldn’t be better. It was a great condo for our spring skiing trip for our family of 5. We accessed the ski mountain by skiing to the tunnel to the gondola daily, and skied right home to the condo at the end of the day on the Four O’Clock run. We walked into town (<5 min walk) most nights. We did cook dinner at home a couple of times and we had all the pots/pans/tools we needed. Our kids loved the outdoor pool and hot tubs, and we also used those daily.

Noisy condo and we didn't get good sleep. Thunder Mountain and condo owner did nothing to rectify the situation.

Great location!

This property is a good size, and in a great location if you want to walk to town. It is right beside the pool, which can be loud if you have babies/toddlers napping. But it didn't bother us. It just needs better maintenance. The handle on the glass shower was literally falling off. We couldn't use it. The towels were shredding on the ends. The window screens or liners were falling out. Overall, we would stay there again. It just needs some upkeep.

Great summer retreat.

Mountain Thunder is a great community, in a great location with resort style amenities. Easy access to trails, gondola and town. Note that the property backs to the pool which is VERY active in the summer. If you are looking for a quiet place in the mountains, I would suggest a unit on the outside not backing to the pool. Balcony is adequately sized but has trees very close so limited views of the pool or mountains. I don't think the listing specifies but the unit is a 2nd floor unit with stairs to all of the living and sleeping areas. The unit was clean and sufficiently stocked. Overall, we enjoyed our 12 night stay in the mountains.
