Cute small old motel at one time possibly. Has a leaky faucet in kitchen and mattress needs replacing. Nice and quiet even though it was on highway. Beautiful creek in back. Hard to find at first didn't know it was called Cole's .Riverside
The canyon river cabin was right on the road outside of Estes Park. It had cute rustic decorations, a full kitchen and a great porch to enjoy right by the river. Perfect for our evening after Rocky Mountain National Park.
Quiet, peaceful beautiful place to stay.
I loved staying in the river and listening to it during the night.
The cabin was very neat and clean.
I also like the fact it was out of town a little bit got away from the crowded areas.
We would go back and stay there again.

Nice but overpriced
Lovely cabin right on the river. For the price, though, we were disappointed by:
not enough gas in grill to cook hot dogs
only two forks in the kitchen?
no "one pager" explaining how to access wifi, TV or cooling fans
no extra blanket for cool evening temps
We are from Greeley and just came up for the night. We went downtown Estes for dinner then came back to the room. We sat in the hot tub under a completely clear sky! We could see every star! The sound of the river is very calming.
We did contact the owner. He got back to us in a matter of minutes! Very easy process and a great night away. We will be back!
Property was nice, clean, and convenient. There is no backyard access from the back exit. You have to walk around the property to get to the water. The deck furniture is outdated and needs to be replaced. There are other properties on the other side of the waterway, so there is no privacy on the back deck, as you are also directly next to your neighbors. The back does not lock securely, so do not bring anything valuable with you that you cannot take in your vehicle when you come and go. Property owner was easy to get a hold of and communicative.
We loved our time spent at this cabin! Very clean, perfectly stocked for 2, and great fly fishing out back (on private property—so no one else was there). Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway!
This place was great. Perfect spot for couples. The hot tub was wonderful. We liked that it was nestled but only a few minute drive to Estes Park. Highly recommend. The hosts were kind and extremely responsive too. I had a user error issue at check in but the hosts were helpful and responded in a timely manner.
Our three night stay was wonderful. Communication from owner was great and check in check out was easy. The location was perfect. Close to nature and only two miles to Estes park. Traffic noise was not bad as I mostly heard the moving water of the big Thompson out back. Great cabin for fly fishing and easy access hiking in Roosevelt national forest. Cabin is small and quant but enough room for two to move around. The hot tub was amazing and thr stars on a clear night are perfect

Nice place, but…
Cottage was nice and clean. Hot tub didn’t work. The day I’m scheduled to arrive, Wendy tells me the hot tub sometimes working. I let Wendy know that was the main reason I rented her cottage. Her hot tub guy was out of town for a couple of days which delayed the repair. Handyman “fixed” it, but still was not hot. I was offered the alternative of going to the cottage next door and use for the hot tub in a place that hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest’s stay. During our phone call, owners were “going into the canyon and would call back in 15 minutes”, but they ghosted me. No offer to credit any part of my stay. Not great.
We truly enjoyed our stay in Rustic Charm. Owners Wendy and Kevin were very responsive to the few things we needed addressing (TV setting, paper products). Charming farmhouse decor. On the whole it was very clean however the overhead fan and lights over the food prep area needed dusting. We stayed a week and I cleaned them myself given I have allergies. The back porch overlooking the Big Thompson River was perfection! We would return. Great value given comparatives in Estes Park.
My boyfriend and I absolutely loved this little cottage in the mountains, even closer to Estes than we imagined but still far enough away that you can have peace and quiet. I loved how cozy it was and the hot tub was really nice! And that view was to die for! I loved that we had the option to cook meals there if we wanted to too! Loved this place definitely recommend!!!
We were SO pleased with our stay at this cabin! The inside was cute and fun, spacious, and everything was clean and worked properly. The kitchen was great to be able to cook, and the private deck overlooking the river was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed hearing the river rushing and seeing elk from the deck throughout our stay. The cabin was only 15 minutes from the Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park entrance, where we spent most of our time. The bed is quite firm, so if you're a person who likes it more plush keep that in mind. Overall, we would absolutely return here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area!

Beautiful location
This was the perfect location regarding nature and proximity to Estes Park and the RMNP. Quiet and serene with a few furry neighbors that would visit for a meal. I'm referring to the beautiful Elk we saw on multiple occassions off our balcony. We would definitely come back!
Room was cozy and adequate. Air conditioning would be helpful in summer months. Parking was somewhat confusing but adequate once advised how to park by property manager. Right beside highway so noise was noticeable. Mouse in house! He liked mozarella cheese and M&M's. Overall we liked the property!
