Fully updated 4 bed 3 bath ranch home on a quiet country road located near Luckenbach, TX and many of the areas wineries. The home is located in what locals refer to as Luckenbach Valley or Grapetown. Located 6 miles south off of Highway 290 on Old San Antonio Rd.

Surrounding attractions include : Luckenbach Dance Hall, Grapetown Historic School House, Alamo Cafe, Old Tunnel State Park (Bat watching), Altstat Brewery, GrapeCreek Vinyards, Wildseed Farm, Bankersmith, and various other local Wineries.

Great house for large group get aways or family retreats.

3 bedrooms 2 baths upstairs, 1 bedroom downstairs, 1 bath, living, dining, kitchen, laundry, and 2nd living space downstairs.

The living room is a large open space with cedar beams and a large limestone fireplace. Concrete floors downstairs and hardwoods upstairs.

Full functioning kitchen has been updated with stainless steel appliances, torazzo counter tops and large farm house sink.

Beds included are 1 king bed 2 queen beds and bunk room with 2 twin size bunk beds and a day bed/trundle with 2 twin size mattresses.

Bachelorette Weekend

This place was beautiful and perfect for my Bachelorette party weekend. The house was quiet and beautiful!!! Plenty of room for my family and friends that attended. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect family gathering spot.

We were in town for a wedding weekend with family from out of town and state. The house was the perfect home away from home while attending weekend wedding activities. Highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway!

We loved the property. Location was a 10 minute drive to most things. House provided a nice vintage farmhouse feel. Great for a group of adults. GPS address was tricky. Much easier to figure out where the house was in the daylight.Cons: no firewood provided for the fire pit & we couldn't park in the driveway bc it’s shared by another short term rental. I wasn’t aware that there was another rental attached to the farmhouse.None of the above are deal breakers. We would definitely rent again! Thank you

Perfect fit for our occasion

Property was exactly as advertised - plenty of beds for 5 adults and 5 kids with lots of room in a quiet setting but still close enough to town. Bunks bed were a hit with the grandkids and our king-size was very comfortable. Hosts are very responsive and kind, even had toys and play area. We're not experienced VRBO customers but they made it easy. We were there for a wedding but would stay there if ever in Fredericksburg again. Close to Luckenbach as well. Highly recommend.

Frustrating start to vacation

We were sent the address to the property that was incorrect. We contacted the host and tried to contact VRBO but it took a couple of hours to hear back from the host. We drove around looking for a house that looked like the picture on VRBO. Fortunately we found the house and were able to get in. When we did hear from the host it was an email with the correct listing only. I’ve rented through VRBO many times but I’ve never had this level of poor communication.

What a great property! Beautiful land and views. The owner was very helpful with a couple small things and would definitely recommend staying here. The house is very roomy and has everything you could need.

Great place to get away from city life

The ranch is wide open and very quiet, so it's a great place to go to clear your head and get away from the city. At the same time, it's just a few minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg and Luckenbach and all the vineyards, so it's easy to find things to do while you're there. The ranch dogs are very sweet and docile and will come up to greet you, but they're not intrusive and will spend most of the time doing their own thing on other parts of the ranch. Deer are out all over the place at night, and in the morning, you can watch the sun come up over the hills. The house had plenty of beds and sheets and towels for everyone, and it's really open and spacious. The kitchen has a stove, oven, and full sized fridge, so you can easily prep and cook all your meals there without having to go to town for everything. This was a great little getaway.

We are Jason and Amanda your hosts for Grapetown Farmhouse. We moved to Fredericksburg Texas in 2014 to find our forever home. Grapetown is a very special and unique spot in the Fredericksburg area and was where we chose to purchase.

Life had other plans for us and moved us away from our beloved Grapetown, but also gave us the opportunity to share this place we cherish with others. We have since found great joy in hosting guests at this place we hold dear. It is our greatest hope that people will come and be welcome.
