I cannot recommend this home enough for a stay in Sedona, if you have a couple of weeks minimum for your trip. The house is even lovelier than the photos show, and Lynn, the owner, is extremely communicative and helpful. I especially appreciate that the neighborhood is very quiet and has a dark sky rule, is close to shopping and restaurants, yet feels more remote. The views are stunning, and the proximity to hiking trails (that aren't nearly as crowded as the popular ones) is ideal. Can't wait to return!
This was an exceptional stay. The house was very well furnished and was in a great location. It was close to attractions, hiking and the grocery store. We enjoyed the deck and the views in the area were beautiful. Also took several walks in the neighborhood. Highly recommend this home and the host.
Very nice house in a convenient location. A nephew & his wife followed by a niece & her husband who are all in their 30s & 40s stayed with me. Although they had rental cars, they enjoyed being able to walk to 89A to the movie theaters, NAMTI, & Safeway.
Gorgeous house, well stocked, clean and quiet.
There were small problems, eg. my first load of laundry was covered in lint. The hot water broke.
Then the gas fireplace overheated and the host blamed me, saying it was “common sense” to only use it for “ambiance” not heat. (The big windows face north; the night’s cold is retained; the fireplace which was not on thermostat warmed the half of of the house I was using.) I asked the host if, because of a mold smell in one of the bathrooms (maybe from a leak in the radiant floor heaters that were advertised but off-limits) I could buy space heaters instead using the forced air. She said I had to use the forced air, so I did that.
The next day she told me to leave in 13 days, so she could get her house ready for her “guests,” shortening this guest’s stay by 34 days mid-holidays. I offered to leave the house for a succession of days so her workers could come in. I begged her to let me stay at least until I could see some medical specialists, which would give her 19 days to supervise the repairs. She said: “YOU are NOT happy here” (I had told her repeatedly how happy I was.) She she accused me of texting her every day. She said the repairs were an “emergency, though she was delaying them 13 days. I could go on.
Then VRBO, who guaranteed a credit but not a refund, froze my inbox so I couldn’t find another place. I am disabled, can’t climb stairs, etc.
The stress impacted my health and my family’s wellbeing enormously.
Lynne's Sedona home is wonderful. It is spacious, very comfortable, well maintained and well equipped. And it comes with a stunning view of Thunder Mountain! It is convenient to restaurants, groceries and best of all - many great trailheads.
The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly.
Lynne provided great information and was readily available to answer questions.
We really enjoyed our stay so much so that we are booked for next year!
Beautiful high end home, exceptionally clean. Better looking than the pictures. Owners description of features are all accurate. Very quite. Only a three minute drive from the highway, grocery store and restaurants. Excellent communication with owner. Would definitly like to return.
From initial contact through check out, staying here was a wonderful experience. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed to just relax and enjoy our month-long vacation in Sedona. The house sits in a nice quiet neighborhood and is very conveniently located to groceries, restaurants and everything else that Sedona has to offer. I would definitely recommend this property as an excellent value.
We loved this home. Felt very cozy and price was great. Host was kindest person and very attentive. Would highly recommend. We loved the views and steam shower.
Gem in the heart of Sedona. Plenty of room and everything you need for an extended stay. Host was super responsive and the house was clean and well maintained. Would love to return.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The views were fabulous. The property was very clean, quiet and relaxing. Grocery shopping and hiking trails were convenient. And Lynn, the property owner and manager was great to work with - super responsive. We are looking forward to returning!
Gorgeous house with stunning views of the red rocks !
Located in the heart of Sedona in a very quiet lovely neighborhood.
I can't wait to go back again!
Nice, clean, private, quiet and quality home in a super location. Close to hiking trails and one could walk for coffee and groceries. Nice master bedroom, bath and closet. The shower was a luxurious treat!
Lynn was great to communicate with. We loved our stay and hated to leave.
Well cared for rental. They even had a blender good enough to make smoothies my way. You are in town, but still see deer and we saw one javelina. They were never a problem, just beautiful to see. We saw them early evening coming home. Enjoyed the hiking nearby. Location cannot be better.
This house in West Sedona was wonderful. It is in a great location, near hikes, downtown, stores, etc. The house was clean and well-stocked. The bed and sheets were excellent and very comfortable. Our host was fantastic and addressed the few issues we had very promptly. The view off the deck is classic Sedona, magnificent red rock spires, trees, distant mountains. Great place to stay and enjoy Sedona.
Perfect setting in a quiet neighborhood. Easy access to trails, groceries, restaurants.
Property Manager was responsive and very helpful (not that much help was needed). Home is comfortable, garden bloomed throughout our stay. Views from deck spectacular. Home included everything we needed for a long stay.
Great location in West end Sedona, very spacious, clean and comfortable..
Nice house with garage access is perfect. Spacious and tidy home. Not cluttered with unusable furniture. Comfortable beds and bathrooms. A great place to come home too after a great hike on the trails. The home is very bright without hot sun shinning in. The evening views are tremendous.
This is a wonderful home in the perfect West Sedona location! The neighborhood is very quiet. The home is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and has all the amenities one would need. The view of Thunder Mountain is perfect. The owner is most welcoming and accommodating! We loved the month we spent in this house. You can easily get to all of the stores and other places of interest in the area.
Lynn has created the perfect environment for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Her home is beautiful, tastefully decorated and provides all the amenities and comforts one could hope for. The house is situated in a location that is hidden from the traffic, yet is convenient to many stores and restaurants. There is a large and enjoyable deck that runs the length of the house and overlooks the beautiful Sedona Red Rocks. Just below the deck, and surrounding the house is a large yard with much greenery to compliment the Red Rock view. I have stayed at several different homes in Sedona and this is, by far, my favorite. Lynn is a pleasant, considerate and accommodating owner who is readily available to answer any questions. My only hesitation in posting a positive review is that I’d like this place to be a well-kept secret for my own future plans to re-visit.

West Sedona Views
We viewed our stay at Lynn's West Sedona home as spectacular. We woke up every morning saying "they're still there!"... that is Thunder Mountain and all of her statuesque friends from Coffee Pot Rock to Chimney Rock. Very comfortable living and tastefully decorated home in proximity to every convenience. Our stay included the February Sedona International Film Festival to the Chamber Sedona Music Concert in late March, including daily trail walks and an abundance of great restaurants and wine tasting opportunities. We hope to return in the future.
