About this property

Sunny Peaceful Urban Place with Air Con & Carpark

This is your place. In the perfect location. Complete with a secure covered carpark.

Our apartment is set up on the edge of the city centre for you to walk in and feel right at home.

EASY LIVING

Such an easy apartment to live in. Come home, walk across the plush new carpet and sink into the gorgeous BoConcept couch, long and wide enough for a good stretch out. While you are there take in the view across to the city and Sky Tower or enjoy Netflix on the Smart TV or link up to the to the discrete bluetooth speaker and you’ll have all the sounds you need for a great night in. The Wifi is connected to an unlimited high-speed 100 Mbps fibre internet connection.

Walking through the door you get an immediate sense of light and space. The high ceilings and floor to ceiling ranch sliders flood the place with natural light. Sitting on the balcony you look over the greenery to a view of the Sky Tower. The city lights make it particularly special at night for alfresco dining or a wind down drink.

It’s a peaceful spot. Here you are on the CBD fringe with all the life the city and Auckland waterfront has to offer just a short walk away. But with leafy Victoria Park separating you from the city bustle, you have your own quiet space. Your apartment is on the top corner means there is no one above to disturb you.

KITCHEN

For entertaining, you have a full size fridge for all your drinks and the cupboards are fully stocked with all the glassware and serving dishes to be the perfect host without even trying.

If you want to cook there is a fully equipped kitchen complete with Brabantia cookware and chef knives. A NZ owned large supermarket is 100m away and if you want to pick up fresh from the boat, the Auckland Fish Market is 1km away. The table seats 4 comfortably for dinner with views of the Sky Tower. Or if you prefer al fresco dining for 4 under the covered balcony just that little bit closer to the city light view and big dusk skies.

BEDROOM

We know just how important sleep is when away from home so our attention to detail extends into the bedroom. The luscious new pocket sprung bed comes with the highest quality Fairydown wool duvet and high thread count sheets with a selection of soft, medium and hard Sleepyhead pillows.

Wake up to views of the Sky Tower from the bed and for extra decadence coffees can be ordered by Bluetooth from the Nespresso Prodigo. There is large double wardrobe for all your clothes and hiding away luggage and shopping bags (from your Auckland retail splurge) to keep your bedroom serene and peaceful.

ACCESS

For ease there’s internal lift access from the carpark to the apartment. Our apartment is highly accessible for these with limited mobility. The allocated carpark is close to the apartment, completely under cover from car to door, and can be done without using stairs. To top it off, the shower is a large walk in.

LOCATION

The location is simply outstanding. Beaumont Quarter is a urban neighbourhood located a little more than a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet tucked away in the best fringe location Auckland has to offer. It’s a short walk into the city, either through the park or along the waterfront past Wynyard Quarter.

Silo park with all its restaurants, cafes, children's playgrounds, outdoor food market and food truck spaces, Auckland Fish Market, ASB theatre and Viaduct Events Centre is also only a flat, easy and interesting 1km walk away. Ponsonby with all it’s NZ designer shopping and late night life is just up the hill.

The waterfront and marina is just 500m away, and there’s a lovely loop walk or run by the water along the boardwalks past the boats to the base of the harbour bridge, yacht clubs and cafe.

If you don’t bring your car and want to get around a bit quicker there's a bikeshare scheme nearby. If you are looking to do trips a little further afield many city bus routes are right on your doorstep and there’s the City Hop car sharing scheme just outside on Beaumont Street.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Regular cleaning. If you are staying for a few weeks, perhaps you would like to arrange regular weekly or fortnightly cleaning or a one-off additional clean. The cost is $164/visit for a clean and linen change, and $102/visit for a standard clean (no linen change). You can either arrange this in advance, or while you are staying.

Portacot (additional $6/day). We can provide Jolly Jumper Roma 2-in-1 portacots that have both bassinet and cot level. This model has passed safety tests and is recommended by Consumer NZ. We'll also provide cots sheets and blankets.

Access to the recreation centre including gym, spa and sauna is from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

We will do our best to greet you at check-in. We also live in Beaumont Quarter, so we can pop over and provide assistance if required.

Beaumont Quarter is a 258-unit residential project in central Auckland, designed for inhabitants who want to live in the city centre, without relying on the regular use of cars. In a country that is known for building only high-rise or low-rise, Beaumont Quarter has been recognised as a benchmark project for medium-density development, introducing a European design that gives priority to pedestrians with a dense network of pedestrian pathways and small squares.

The award-winning design is exceptional in both concept and execution. The complex is comprised of a series of unique buildings, each with an independent yet complimentary aesthetic, brought together with pedestrian friendly walkways and shared spaces. All homes are well-equipped with high-quality, contemporary fittings and furnishings and have a focus on spacious living areas. Building height has been regulated to maximise natural light. And many homes have their own outdoor areas like courtyards, rooftop patios or decks – some with stunning views of the city. Trees, gardens and green spaces make BQ a relaxing and refreshing place to come home to. Beaumont Quarter is inner-city living at its best.

Across the road is the beautiful tree-lined Victoria Park (with a family-friendly skatepark, basketball court and playground) and you’ll find a New World supermarket less than 100m down the road. Plus, you’re only a short stroll from the shopping, cafes, restaurants and bars of Ponsonby Road, Wynyard Quarter, City Works Depot and Victoria Park Market.

You’ll find there’s a friendly sense of community at BQ which residents are keen to protect and maintain. Noise levels are kept low, especially after 10 pm, and there is respect and consideration for other residents and the common spaces.

We've created a comprehensive online guidebook of local attractions that we will send you a link to after you book.
You must have at least one Airbnb profile photo that clearly shows your face, and you must have Airbnb verified Government ID.

Quiet time after 10 pm.

To reduce the amount of chemicals used, you must use the shower located within the recreation centre before using the swimming pool or spa. This is enforced using CCTV and will result in a $50 fine if violated. Please follow the other rules detailed on the recreation centre door.

You will be allocated a dedicated car park that you are welcome to use for your entire stay. Electric vehicle charging is not possible from this car park.

We also have visitor parking (for your visitors) that is only for use by visitors for 3 hours and this is enforced with clamping/towing 24/7. If your visitors need to stay longer, there is pay parking out on Beaumont St, which becomes free parking after 6 pm. If you need an extra car park let us know and we can try to sort out an extra car park for you.

If you are staying overnight, Beaumont Quarter considers you a resident and may only use the visitor parking for 10 minutes for pick ups / drop offs. We want to make sure your group have a good experience, and getting clamped/towed and then getting pinged $200 would probably ruin your day.

Please be aware that if you burn any food when cooking, do NOT open the front door out to the hallway to disperse the smoke. Instead, open the ranch slider and bedroom windows and the smoke should clear in a couple of minutes. If the smoke detector in the hallway is triggered, then the entire building alarm goes off, everyone in the building needs to evacuate, and three fire trucks are automatically sent out. Beaumont Quarter get charged for the fire trucks in the case of false alarms, and they pass this cost along (roughly $500).

For long-stay booking requests 27 nights or longer, we require that guests sign a standard "New Zealand Residential Tenancy Agreement". This gives you the same protections as other tenants in New Zealand, and helps keep our insurance company and accountant happy. After you have booked, we'll send you a link to a document that you can electronically sign.

The apartment complex management operates a CCTV surveillance system. Cameras record activity in common areas, including the roads, underground car parks and recreation centre. The recordings may be used for enforcement of the body corporate rules, and may be supplied to the police if illegal activity is suspected.

Before you arrive, you will be provided with a copy of the Beaumont Quarter welcome letter, and you are required to follow the rules outlined in this document.

You are required to provide the following details, and you authorise us to pass it on to the apartment complex management.
1. The full names of all occupants who will be staying at our place both adults and children (for children please indicate ages).
2. A contact phone number of the primary occupant.
3. The licence plate(s) of all cars that will be parked in the car park.

Please be aware that electricity is fairly expensive in New Zealand. Your nightly rate includes a power allowance of 17 kWh per night. If your total power usage during the stay exceeds this allowance, then we may charge you for the excess amount.
