New year eve
We have enjoyed these weeks in Manhattan. The apartment is close to public transport and you can walk to many parts of the city. It is fortunate to be able to run to Central Park every day directly from home. In addition to tourism, shopping, museums, restaurants we have enjoyed the apartment, it is well equipped and is perfectly resting. we will be back for sure

Appartement agréable et bien placé, très bon rapport qualité-prix
L'appartement est grand, lumineux et calme (pour les personnes très sensibles au bruit, prévoir quand même des bouchons d'oreilles car un train aérien passe au bout du bloc. Il ne passe pas souvent mais on l'entend bien). Les 2 chambres sont grandes, les lits confortables. Et le canapé du salon peut aussi servir de lit 1 place si besoin. Jo nous a super bien accueillis et a été très flexible avec nos horaires. L'appartement est propre, bien aménagé, avec beaucoup de rangements et l'essentiel pour se faire à manger. On trouve 2 stations de subway à moins de 10 min à pied et on est donc très vite au coeur de Manhattan. On trouve aussi un supermarché pas loin. Bref, c'est un excellent rapport qualité-prix et nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir chez Jo si nous revenons à NY.

Au top !
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce grand appartement, très propre, fonctionnel, au calme (ce qui est appréciable à New york) et très bien placé au nord de Central Park, à 5 minutes de 2 lignes de métro et de bus permettant au choix de visiter Manhattan par l'est ou par l'ouest. Ajouté à cela la gentillesse de la propriétaire qui nous a réservé un accueil des plus chaleureux malgré l'heure très tardive de notre arrivée et donné plein de conseils pour les visites et surtout les restaurants. Merci !

JO ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in der Wohnung von JO. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht. Besonders angenehm waren die Klimaanlagen in den Zimmern bei den heißen Temperaturen. Die Lage ist sicher und gut zu erreichen. Besonders angenehm fanden wir die Nähe zum Central Park, die grüne Oase nach einem Stadtbesuch. JO war immer ansprechbar und erreichbar. Sie hat sich um alles gekümmert. Wirklich eine sehr perfekte und persönliche Gastgeberin.

Guter Ausgangspunkt mit kleinen Macken
Die Kommunikation lief völlig unkompliziert und wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die beschriebene Klimaanlage haben wir leider nicht gefunden, obwohl sie wirklich gut gewesen wäre. Die Fenster nämlich müssen nachts leider geschlossen bleiben: von der Park Av. laut dröhnt nämlich der Zugverkehr von der überirdischen Strecke der uBahn. Die Wohnung ist ansonsten wirklich toll und für 4 Personen gut geeignet. Rollos gibt es aber leider keine und auch die Türen können nicht leise geöffnet werden, was besonders nachts die Mitreisenden beeinträchtigt. Dem Rat, den Müll auf der Straße um die Ecke zu entsorgen sind wir aufgrund der 100$ Strafe nicht nachgekommen. Eigentlich ist die Reinigungsgebühr mehr als ausreichend, um den Müll nicht selbst entsorgen zu müssen.

Large, clean and close to the metro
For NYC standards, this was a "huge" 2BR appartement, very clean and with all standard amenities you need to "live a normal life" 😉 ! Metrolines 3 and 6 are within reasonable walking distance ( 5 min) , so in 20 minuten you are in the middle of all the action! Owner very nice. He let us do our thing, so it realy felt like home! Very recommended.

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in New York
Die Lage des Appartements ist sehr gut, keine 5 Minuten von der nächsten Subway-Station entfernt und dort findet man auch einen ausgezeichneten Supermarkt. das Appartement ist hell und freundlich eingerichtet,liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend, ist sauber und hat alles,was man braucht. J.O. ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die uns Silvester mit Champagner verwöhnte und auch sonst sehr aufmerksam war. Bei unserem nächsten New York Aufenthalt werden wir sicher wieder hier wohnen

Super séjour
Nous avons séjourné durant 11 jours et 10 nuits à New York dans cette location. Nous avons passé un agréable moment. Janene, nous a très bien accueilli et a su être à notre écoute et répondre à tous nos besoins. La location est idéalement placée à proximité des bouches de métro et de commerce de proximité (supérette, laverie, barbier...) et de restaurants de tout genre. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Bel appartement, super hôte !
Super appartement, calme et spacieux, proche des commodités. Philippe est d'une gentillesse incroyable, très arrangeant. Merci ! Jeannine, la voisine du dessous, super également. Manque juste quelques ustensiles dans la cuisine pour faire à manger, mais c'est sans doute un réflexe français ;-) Great flat, quiet and large, close to amenities. Philippe is incredibly nice and accommodating. Thanks ! Jeanine, living downstairs, really nice ! (and speaks French with that little american accent, delicious !) Were only missing some stuff to prepare meals, in the kitchen (only one pot for example), but that's probably a French reflex ! ;-)

I would recommend but pay attention to details please
My Mom, girlfriend and I rented Philippe’s place for 4 nights over the NYC Marathon weekend. Philippe had a problem and couldn’t meet us at the apartment (he had lost his phone and was delayed while retrieving it) and asked that we meet him at a coffee shop around the corner...not problem and understandable but we were delayed about 1 hour waiting for him. We were all tired and hungry from traveling across country (from Vegas) and wanted shower and get something to eat. Have a back up plan for situations like this. It must be noted that Philippe is a very nice person and responded immediately to anything we asked for while staying at his place, this review is no reflection on him personally. As for the accommodations, they were exactly as they were described, no surprises. However, standard conveniences like a TV, coffee maker and a toaster are a must but are sadly lacking. I understand if the cost for cable TV is an issue but at least provide a smart TV that is capable of streaming Netflix or other streaming apps...there is internet connection in the apt so this shouldnt be a problem. Or provide a cost effective over the air TV antenna so local TV stations can be accessed. We went shopping at Whole Foods and bought coffee only to find out there wasn’t a coffee machine. It didn’t register with us that only a Kurig machine is available and we bought regular ground coffee. No toaster...sure we eventually made toast in the broiler section of the oven. For $50 on Amazon a coffee machine and toaster can be easily provided. Other minor issues like no toilet paper and no garbage bags was quickly resolved but attention to these details shouldn’t be missed when prepping the place for new visitors. Would I recommend Philippe again, yes for sure but perhaps more attention to detail and providing some basic conveniences as described would’ve given a 5 star rating.

Het is een ruim apartement. Twee grote slaapkamers en een woonkamer mer open keuken.
De woning was heel schoon. Het apartement ligt in een prima straat en buurt. Er zijn voldoende eetgelegenheden in de buurt. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk. Hij geeft goede tips voor mogelijkheden in de buurt om te eten en te drinken. Daarnaast gaf hij een goede tip voor een taxi app Via, waarmee goedkope taxis kunnen worden geboekt. Zelfs naar het vliegveld.

a MUST book
My husband and I had a wonderful stay! We don't frequent New York often, but this was the perfect accommodation for us. The listing depicts the apartment exactly. It is warm, cozy, inviting, charming, and best of all... out of the hustle of the city. The apartment has plenty of space, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 sofas, and spacious bathroom. An Uber pool ride is relatively inexpensive even to the south end of Manhattan. Central park is in walking distance as well as several unique restaurants and bakeries. Philippe is very accommodating and welcoming. This is a great place for a steal! I would highly recommend.

Clean and spacious
It's a large apartment in a nicely kept town house. Comfortable beds in two generously sized bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom is also clean and nicely equipped. The host is friendly, open and flexible but not intrusive in any way. The area is pretty mixed demographically but not did feel dangerous to us (but we are from London and used to urban living). It's still relatively edgy but energetic, It's very close to central park and two subway stations to get to other parts of NY easily. I'd recommend it.

Amazing NYC apartment!!!! Charming, Clean and comfortable!!!
The place was very clean, clearly well maintained and had lots of light - which we loved! It was a great place to stay, convenient for getting around so it was an overall excellent base camp for our NYC adventure! Check in and out was quick and easy and both J. and Philippe were very responsive, friendly and always available to  answer questions at every turn.  We followed some of their local restaurant suggestions and had amazing meals. Highly suggested for an anytime visit to NYC, definitely a deal!
