everything u need in the kitchen a lot of space .. the only complaint just the water . I think needs better well water treatment…

Like being at grandmas house!

This place is wonderful. Our group of consisted of 3 families and we had plenty of space. The house feels so homey and the surrounding land and creek were wonderful! The kids roasted marshmallows and caught fireflies almost every evening. The game room was a big hit. Damon was as helpful as could be. We absolutely loved it. If I were looking for a rental in the area, I'd choose this one a million times over.

Love this house

Amazing home. More than expected. You will not be disappointed. Perfectly nestled on the bottom of the Shawagunk Mountains 15 mins from the town of Pine Bush. Lots to do and see. Nature at your front door. Our family of 10 fit perfectly with lots of extra space. Kitchen is more than stocked. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Place

We stayed for my son’s graduation from West Point, which is an hour away. We purposefully stayed a week to enjoy some time. The place was amazing. There is a state park close by that we hiked. We Laos went to the city for a day. It was a great house. There was room for our family of 10. The spa was a big hit. We would come back even though my son has graduated.

How do you describe the best vacation you've ever had!!

From the moment we saw the property, we knew we had made the right decision. It was beautiful inside and out! There was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy our privacy and then to come together for a meal or smores by the firepit! We've stayed at other properties, but this tops the list. Don't miss it!

Mountain House in Pine Bush

Great house. House is perfect for cooking in, kitchen is fully stocked just bring your food! Great location and really beautiful property!

sweet secluded getaway from NYC

This was our 2nd stay and even better, as this time we explored the woods behind the house where a brook runs back far enough we never found the end or edge of the property. Great hikes less than 20 min drive away, but honestly exploring the woods and stream was about our speed, with teens who are non-experienced hikers. Used the hot tub every night under the stars, built fires and did s'mores multiple times in the fire pit. Large porch with ping pong, foosball, keyboard and movie watching spot gave us plenty to do indoors, too. Well stocked kitchen, lovely views of nature from every window -- for city dwellers vacationing with extended fam, this was perfect.

Highly recommended

To keep it relatively brief, this was an impressive house. Size was more than enough for the 7 of us, hot tub was great, kitchen was beyond well equipped, all the tvs were new and huge. The owner was well responsive to any questions, and in 10+ years of using VRBO, this house had the least amount of issues with the most amenities. All 7 of us (4 adults and 3 kids {8-10 y.o.) all had a great time, and we all agreed we'd return, which says it all.

Awesome

We came back again for yet another wonderful long wknd w family … the house has all you need for a fun wknd . All 12 of us were comfy and had plenty of space to enjoy ! 55 acres to hike, bonfire pit, jacuzzi, ping pong, fooseball , hundreds of board games and some musical instruments to experiment with! All bedrooms are big. ! Highly recommend…. We will be back again next season for sure. Thx Damon!!

New Years family gathering

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at the house. The house is located on a quiet peaceful property. House itself is beautiful, clean, well appointed. Kitchen is well stocked and we were able to cook all of our meals in comfort. Bedrooms are roomy and bright. We all enjoyed ping-pong tournaments, napping to Bob Ross on the big screen TV and nice views out of the many windows.

Cozy family vacation!

Damon’s house was the perfect getaway for our extended family of 9. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and also to spend time together. We loved the sun room with the keyboard, guitar and other games to play. We also really loved the outdoor area with the fire pit! So close to Wallkill and about an hour away from Warwick. Damon was so kind and the perfect host. We will definitely look to stay here again when we come back to the area!

Perfect getaway

Very nice and clean, the property was beautiful. Our large family had plenty of space to relax, hike, play games, and feel at home. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook our own Thanksgiving meal and enjoy it in the warmth of the home, while enjoying the fantastic views of nature. Overall, a perfect stay!

Great hosts!

Damon & Michelle are the ideal vacation rental hosts. They were very responsive and communicative without being micromanaging like some hosts can be. The house was amazing, we couldn’t believe how much room there was and it’s a very unique home. The property is beautiful and in a lovely location. Only 10 minutes to tour Wallkill facilities and about an hour to Warwick if you’re in town for that :)

Great house

This is an amazing house. We had a large family trip for a wedding. Lots of outside space, enjoyed the fire pit, outside seating, deck and hot tub. Each room had a full length mirror which worked well for getting ready for a wedding. Would highly recommend. Damon was very responsive to questions.

Dad’s 70th birthday celebration

From arrival to checkout, Damon’s place was an absolute pleasure. We were a group of 10 celebrating my dad’s 70th birthday. My son, who is two, and daughter, who is 12, were the only kids. The property is beautiful. The backyard extends beyond view with a really nice hot tub, outdoor table which we used for most of our meals and a grill (we out that to great use). The inside of the house was really nice as well. The master bedroom is beautiful with a really nice bathroom, and the upstairs bedrooms are spacious with it’s own common space and couches to hang out. My dad and all of us had a really nice time, and I thank Damon for his hospitality.

Remote, Relaxing Stay

Property was as advertised: large, private, accommodated a large group with ease. Lots of indoor and outdoor spaces for socializing or curling up with a book. Very clean (I'm fairly picky about that). Kitchen rustic but fairly new appliances; worked well. Most negative thing I can say is the well water has a slight sulfur smell (fairly typical for well water). Would definitely recommend.

Awesome property!!!

We were looking for a 4 bedroom to accommodate our family after a few days in New-York City. We wanted some quiet time to enjoy nature after the busy city. Oh boy did this property deliver! Very natural surrounding, in the middle of the woods, we saw plenty of birds, a few deer and a fawn, fireflies every evening and even a bear! Some awesome parties in the game room, beautiful hikes around, big kitchen, plenty of space inside and outside, round pit fire, spa, we enjoy it all and we hope to come back one day! Communication with owners was outstanding, and check in and out a breeze... I cannot recommend it enough! Thank you Damon and Michelle.

Great weekend getaway

The space was very nice and organized!! The outside makes the house so enjoyable and the jacuzzi was relatively clean and comfortable to play in. Just a heads up, there are a lot of ticks for those of you who do not know the area well!
