Wonderful location

We stayed at this house for our Thanksgiving holiday. We are a family of four with two dogs. It was just perfect. There was plenty of room for grandparents (for example) to have joined us as well. The view and sunsets were outstanding. It was nice being able to launch our boat in the subdivision. And we were just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Morehead City which made grocery shopping and dining super easy.

Beautiful, quiet & peaceful home on water canal!

Great stay for our extended family on vacation! Every bedroom has a bathroom and water views. Right on a canal - If you have a boat, bring it! Everyone in this neighborhood has a boat 😄 There’s a swing! There’s kayaks! There’s the longest hallway in the world 😄 Lovely property. I recommend Gerri’s home 👍👍

Newport Getaway

Beautiful home in a stunning setting. The pictures that are on this site do not give it any justice whatsoever. I had an excellent time. It was so peaceful and the beach was only minutes up the road.

Fabulous property and location!

The house is wonderful and sits on a beautiful lot. The views of the water was gorgeous and the cool breeze was heavenly! The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you could need. We would definitely love to vacation here again!!

It exceeded our expectations.

Soundview Point was an excellent choice for our week on Bogue Sound. The house and location with a boat dock and landing in the neighborhood fit our needs and simplified the week. Gerri has done a great job outfitting the house and providing friendly, accessible local support during the stay. There were a few surprises, but all worked out well in the end with a humble response to resolve asap. We will be back.

Our family have been coming to the Crystal Coast as long as I can remember. Before we purchased our house here at the Crystal Coast we would always rent houses or stay at Oceanfront Resorts. We love this area there is something for everyone from just sitting and relaxing to Deep Water Fishing Charters. When we decided to purchase a beach property, this area was our top choice.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property in 2005 because of the spectacular view and ease of access to the Intracoastal waterway. The entire house was renovated in 2013 with all new floors, Kitchen, bathrooms, and HVAC where rooms were designed to maximize the floor space and allow for open areas to inside the kitchen, family room and sunroom to maximize the view from anywhere in these areas.
Addional renovations were completed in April 2024 - adding a covered porch with a walkway to the Master Bedroom.

What makes this property unique

Deep water dock Intracoastal waterway and ease of water access. Great view of the Intercoastal Waterway from the comfort of the large Kitchen-family- sunroom area as well as the waterside deck. Water access to Morehead City, Beaufort, Shackleford Banks and Ocean Inlets.
