Cozy in Govy
We’ve stayed here before and love this little cabin! It’s so convenient to shops in government camp and a cozy place to come back to after skiing. Unfortunately, there was a power outage in Government Camp coupled with subzero temperatures so we had to cut our stay short, but we look forward to returning next year.

Decent, affordable stay near Mt. Hood
Cabin was comfortable with the space heaters on as long as you closed the door to the mudroom whether you were upstairs or downstairs. Some of the appliances have some wear and tear. One of the burners didn't want to turn on, the arm to the chair was hanging on by a screw, and the bathroom toilet paper holder isn't very secure. The beds were comfortable and warm and the shower's water pressure and temperature were comfortable. The location was convenient and only a short walk to the Mt. Hood Shuttle across from the Chevron station.

Very nice little cabin a couple of blocks from all the stuff in Government Camp, Took the shuttle from Sandy and didn't have to deal with driving in the snow. I definitely would book this place again

Great location
Great location, functional, however could use a few improvements: we found a few roaches in the downstairs non-carpeted entry area, Internet service was very slow, there were few electrical outlets available, heat seems to only be provided by the fireplace or a portable electric heater, and there were no curtains on the window in the door to the main bedroom.

Cold cabin
it was the first and not entirely successful trip to the government camp. Arriving at this house, we did not find the keys in the lock box, we waited until they gave us another code from another lock box. When we entered the house, we wanted to warm up (because it was very cold outside), but the house was very cold. It turns out that it is not heated. We turned on the heaters and waited a very long time for it to heat up.our children are very cold.

The space is small and the fireplace and heaters do a great job of keeping the space warm. Perfect for a family of 4.

Great Location, Great for a Short Trip
We stayed here for 12 days which was too long for this place. Would be a good short vacation spot. Great location for skiing in the winter and hiking during non-skiing times of the year. There are issues with the house that one should be aware of, lights bulbs were out with no spares, electric wok with no cord, steep narrow stairs going up to the second level with no hand rails, the downstairs is dark, one has to be constantly aware of the low ceiling upstairs, different levels inside the house, issues with the stovetop burners, very limited cooking pots.

Nice house close to restaurants and bars
Had a nice weekend at the cabin. Might not be suitable if you consider working from there (internet was pretty slow) but a nice place to use as a gateway to nature.

Great winter escape
Loved the cabin. Clean and warmed up nicely with the fireplace and space heaters. The cabin had everything we needed during our stay. Skied 2 days at Meadows and 1 at skibowl. Both are close to the cabin. Definitely will recommend the cabin to others

A treacherous welcome to 3Dogs Cabin
It had been about a week since the last significant snowfall in Government Camp when we arrived. The instructions made a point of the house address being visible. We arrived on Friday night. Not only were there no lights but a deep snow drift was covering the address. We eventually figured out the two car lot in front was to our 3Dogs cabin then to discover the only steps that lead down to the door were completely covered by deep FROZEN snow. This was not a crusty ice layer on top of snow that would collapse into a soft snow base that might help our footing, This was SOLID ICE 4-5 inches deep. There were a few deep, irregular frozen footprints that we had to use to keep from falling and sliding down the completely buried steps. Climbing up and down the treacherous ice path--in the dark--with our food and luggage was borderline dangerous. We tried resorting to using the plastic sled in the mud room to slide our things down the ice but it was so irregular that our things would fall off and slide on down. The half-filled bag of salt we found in the mud room we tried to spread in the dark did absolutely nothing to improve the situation. Clearly there was no evidence that anybody had made an effort after the last snowfall to shovel the steps, let alone to chop away the thick ice that formed after. And the snow shovel in the mudroom (plastic I believe) would bounce right off the ice. Not a very welcoming first impression to say the least. Other than that the stay was fine.

Cozy cabin
We had a nice stay at 3Dogs. It was convenient to everything in town and attractions nearby. We were a bit concerned that there were only space heaters to heat the place, but they worked great and we were only cold when passing through the mud room. The kind bed upstairs was very comfortable, the twins looked tiny but it was just 2 of us so they weren't used. Downstairs, the track lights were pointed in all odd directions and didn't really light the space as well as a newer lighting system could (especially over the stove, we even tried redirecting a few to help in that area). One of the recliners is pretty busted and should be replaced. The futon is quite old as well... a newer couch would be a nice upgrade. Still, it was everything we needed!

The cabin was ideal for us. We wanted to be close to the hiking trails. It was great to be able to walk to dinner in this ski village. We enjoyed our weekend

Great location right in Gov Camp
The house was clean and worked for our ski trip. It was cold but they do have enough heaters to get it toasty in the room you are in. It also seemed a little dark; could use a few more lights but worked well for our needs.

Right in the heart of Govy!
Perfect to meet our goal of being in the heart of Govy, 15 minutes from exploring backcountry ski spots and the ski resorts, and pet friendly. Short on luxury, but excellent for location and had everything we needed to cook and sleep.
