Waterfront luxury Villa (60) with sunset views and boat slip

Located in the secluded Indigo Reef Resort in Marathon, this luxury vacation rental is pure paradise. You will immerse yourself in long leisurely days of boating, lounging by the pool and watching spectacular sunsets from your back porch. Located just 90 miles south of Miami and 45 miles from Key West, the resort overlooks the Gulf of Mexico with full access to the Atlantic Ocean through Vaca Cut which is right around the corner from Indigo Reef. You'll have your own private boat dock just steps from your back porch. The Florida Keys are known for the best fishing, diving and tropical reefs in the world. (Note: Minimum weekly rental)

This spacious three bedroom, two and a half bath Villa will make you feel right at home. Each bedroom has it's own television, with a 60” flat screen TV in the living room. The Villa has direct sunset views looking out to the Gulf of Mexico, which can be enjoyed from the porch or upper balcony. Just steps from your back porch is your own private boat dock for boats up to 31'. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you'll need to dine in and you can easily grill your daily catch on one of several charcoal grills located throughout the resort grounds. The villa is fully appointed for everything you will need for your stay. Just pack and relax!

Fabulous Stay

From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. Everything was clean and up to date. It was on the canal, so the views from the patios were great with amazing sunsets. The kids enjoyed being able to walk out the back and fish right off of the docks. Along with that, it was close to shopping and the main road to go sight seeing. Thank you for a great visit and we hope to come back soon.

Slice of heaven

I can’t tell you enough about how much this place was perfect for our family. My husband and I traveled with our two kids (3&4). Everything was as pictured. Meals were easy to cook. Had everything you needed. The view was everything!!! Kids played in the grass while we watched the sunsets. It was too windy for our boat but fishing off the deck was fun for the kids. Beds were comfy and w/ plenty of pillows. Fishing rod rack was a great bonus that I didn’t notice prior to coming. Overall this was one of our favorite family trips. Can’t wait to come back!

Best relaxing sunset

Communication before arrival was excellent, we enjoyed reading the recommendations and tips for the area. Condo was exactly as described. Kitchen is fully stocked for all cooking needs, I even prepared a full thanksgiving meal and only needed to purchase a Turkey roasting Pan, everything else was on hand. The layout is great with all 3 bedrooms upstairs and laundry upstairs. Husband did have to work on the dryer vent, it wouldn’t dry clothes at first. The half bath downstairs is very handy. Only complaint is that the master shower is a small walk in. I’m 6’ and it was tricky at times. There is a bathtub in the master but it doesn’t have a shower included. The views are incredible! We sat on both back balcony’s and enjoyed the entire days and sunsets. The balcony’s are covered so there’s shade and the view is completely breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the boats come in/out of the cove and the open water. I had a package delivered to the clubhouse as the communication said not to have anything delivered directly to the unit. However, no one was ever at the clubhouse and it was quite the debacle tracking down the package at a local USPS. We would def stay in this particular unit again. Loved the access to the open water, boat slip, community pool and the location in marathon. Highly recommend.

Boaters paradise

Perfect spot - nice clean condo with plenty of room for our family of 6. Docking facilities are perfect and the location near Vaca Cut made things really easy.

Awesome week in Marathon

We had such a great week! The property was exactly as described and the pictures really do not do the view justice! The whole place was spotless and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool was wonderful, but can get crowded in the afternoon. We did rent a boat and enjoyed having the boat slip right there. Overall, it was just perfect and we hope to come back again!

Marathon Thanksgiving

We had a last minute change to our Thanksgiving holiday and decided to come to Marathon. Indigo Reef 60 was a perfect getaway and location. Unit was clean, everything needed was there - even a stocked spice rack!! We will def come back! John was very easy to communicate with. Fun was had by everyone!

Excellent Property

Great communication throughout the process. I personally appreciate the simple rules/procedures for the property vs. the 25 page binder of rules some properties want you to read. Property is exactly as pictured. The community itself is adorable and feels very safe and private. The location of the unit in the property is ideal for water views and for boating. The slip is right outside the back door and easy to access. The air conditioner works very well, which is much appreciated in the FL heat. Nice bathrooms and decent water pressure. The kitchen has all the utensils, pots/pans and dishes you could want. My only nitpick with the kitchen is that units we typically rent have some items like salt/pepper (there were shakers but both were empty and looked like they had been for some time), a small supply of coffee, some cling wrap/baggies, etc. available so you don’t have to purchase absolutely everything. Nonetheless, this is a really amazing property and I can’t imagine being unhappy with the unit or the setting.

Amazing place

A fabulous place to stay. Clean, light, well laid out with the most fantastic view. Every evening on the balcony watching the sunset sipping icy Margaritas. Wonderful. Pool was perfect, early morning swims and had the place to ourselves. Close enough to overseas highway to walk or cycle everywhere in Marathon yet can't hear the road at all. Great places to eat, went with friends and we all loved the Island Fish Co. Every meal a winner and the best service. Key West, Everglades and Miami Beach in easy reach, a great place. Great moorings but only downer was no fresh water on the dock hoses so couldn't clean our boat or fish easily. Work being done on the resort's outdoor water system so not something that we could correct sadly. Apart from that a beautiful restful holiday home we'd recommend to anyone.
