Perfect location. 3 blocks from historic downtown Leadville in quiet neighborhood. Views of Mt. Massive and Mt. Elbert. Enjoy convenient access to biking the mineral belt trail just a few blocks away. Walking to local restaurants or just enjoy relaxing at 10200'. Our 2 bedroom home is freshly remodeled in 2015. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Full size kitchen with washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove, microwave and refrigerator. Eat in kitchen as well as spacious dining room. Wifi

Great stay in Leadville

We had a great visit to Leadville. The house was super clean and well-stocked. Really appreciated the softer beds after four nights of super firm beds in Crested Butte. We would definitely stay here again (probably will, hopefully next year!) Got a chance to visit with owners Pete and Andy. Lovely couple who shared some ideas of things to do.

Great Stay in Leadville

Our stay was wonderful. The house was perfect for 4 people with a great location within walking distance from the main drag. There is a great view of Mount Elbert out the dining room window. The owner was easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had. We were even able to check in early.

Great Weekend

Property was very clean and well kept. We had a great time hiking the area. House was in a great location. This would be at the top of our list if we make a return trip to Leadville.

Mountain High Escape, indeed!

Very clean. Quick walk to restaurants and shops. Prompt, helpful and friendly responses from owner. Without hesitation, would stay again.

Great location

Leadville was an awesome mountain town. Not far from the slopes and a heck of a view from the property. Will definitely be back next year.

Cute house, looking forward to coming again.

It was far enough away from the main street that it was quiet, but very easy access to downtown. Kitchen well-equipped. WiFi/AV system worked well, was self-explanatory. We were nervous about having only one bathroom for all six of us, but it worked out quite well.

Great Family Weekend

Great Experience - Great House - Great Owner

Great experience all around. The house was very clean and had everything our family of four needed. We needed to add an additional day and Pete was very accommodating. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Beautiful view of Mt. Elbert, lots of sunlight, and walking distance to downtown. We would stay here again any season!

Cozy Leadville Ski Trip

The High Mountain Escape cottage in Leadville was perfect for our trip. Close to Ski Cooper and Copper Mountain ski areas, which was where we skied. Great pizza and restaurants in Leadville are close by and the trip to Frisco for other shopping & restaurants is not that far. The cottage was just as described and the communications/arrangements with the owner were timely & easy. We'll be back.

Great location and close to the center of town.

We have never been to Leadville before this time and had no idea what to expect. Once seeing this home listed on VRBO is seemed like a descent place with a fair nightly rate so we went for it. Once there, we were pleased that it was quaint, very quiet and perfect for our needs. Speaking to homeowner, Pete, was a pleasure and he was very informed about the area. We will definitely return in the future. We would recommend Pete’s home to anyone!

Leadville 100 weekend rental

The description was very accurate. This is a typical, old Leadville house that has been updated inside. Very comfortable and on the quiet end of town. The kitchen had all of the essential equipment and a washer/ dryer. Plenty of off-street parking for 3 cars. For the LT100 race it was very convenient and a short walk to the pre-race meetings and awards at the high school and also to the start/ finish line. We had four adults and it felt very roomy and comfortable. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Perfect family getaway

We needed a break from the Texas Summer heat. We decided to take a trip across Colorado. This little house was perfect. My 2 daughters each had their own beds & our bed was big & super comfy. Leadville is filled with history!! Pete, the owner, told us about several different adventures that we could go & do. The girls had a blast exploring the trails & dirt roads that lead up to a beautiful view of the town & Turquoise Lake below. The neighborhood is very peaceful. We sat out on the front porch every evening looking at the amazing view of Mt Elbert while playing games that are left in the house for use. The sunset on the mountains is something we will never forget. We had a great time bonding with our teenage girls. We will be back!!!

Ski trip

I cannot say enough good things about this home or the owner. The home was in great condition; clean, cozy, well decorated. There is even a washer and dryer which is nice after a long day of skiing. Pete was amazing. Gave us recommendations for restaurants and things to do in Leadville. My son forgot his favorite stuffed animal and Pete was gracious enough to mail him back. Friendly neighbors. We skied Beaver Creek and Vail which were right at 55 minutes from the home. I highly recommend!
