About this property

Breathtaking views on the outside, alluring style on the inside. This 1,400 square foot, 12th floor oceanfront condo sleeps six, with one king bed, two queens and two bathrooms.

Imagine the perfect view. It would start with turquoise ocean streaked with sunlight and waves breaking on silken white sands. You’d need just the right vantage point, high enough for a panoramic view of the entire coastline, and you’d want to enjoy it on a comfortable sofa cooled by ocean trades. Anything missing? Maybe a cocktail to sip as the setting sun paints the sky a bright orange.

This is the view you enjoy every day from the spacious balcony.

The interior is another sight to behold. It’s exquisitely furnished and designed with elegant touches throughout, like modern sculptural lighting fixtures on the ceiling and granite vessel sinks in the bathrooms. Ceramic pots of exotic grasses add a tropical accent.

Floor-to-ceiling windows along the back wall brighten the space with natural light. The ocean is the constant backdrop as you entertain guests in the living room or prepare meals in the kitchen that comes with all modern appliances and cookware.

In the master suite, the bed faces the windows so you’ll fall asleep to fragrant night winds and moonlight reflecting off the ocean.

The unit is filled with comfort-enhancing amenities like air conditioning and heating, free wi-fi, cable and a washer and dryer. You also have everything you need to enjoy the beach, including beach towels, beach chairs, cooler and umbrella.

The activities are virtually endless in the Sandcastle I. Relax in the heated pool or hot tub. Use a gas grill to barbeque a picnic lunch. Play a game of shuffleboard or tennis on one of the newly re-surfaced courts. Work out in the fitness center or get to know some of your neighbors in the social room.

If you want to do some shopping, you’re just a short walk from Marco Island’s premier shopping destination, Marco Walk Plaza, where you’ll find movie theaters, shopping, fine dining and much more. Another short walk takes you to Marco Golf and Garden, a miniature golf course in the midst of an award-winning garden.

Beautiful Condo but some updates needed

We had a great time again, with beautiful weather the entire month of May. The Sandcastle building and the pool area are very well kept and the people are very friendly.Since our last stay a new bed was but in the master bedroom and a new dishwasher in the kitchen. Unfortunately the spotted carpet in the living room was not replaced despite the high hygiene regulations that are required everywhere. I highly recommend a tiled or wooden floor, as it is common for rentals nowadays. We will be back next year and hope to be surprised.Andrew and his team were great as always.

Great views of Marco

July 2018 Stay

Very disappointed in the room. It was not very clean. The carpets are really dirty. The bedding smelled like it had not be cleaned. The hall bathroom did not drain or flush properly. I only had overnight quest a couple of times so it wasn’t a big issue. This morning the washer won’t drain. Every other room I’ve rented from you has been great. I just wanted you to know. Especially the house keeping. It’s a lot of money to come into a dirty room. But I do love the location, the people and the condo manager. Everyone here is great.

a nice condo with some restrictions

The condo has a beautiful view of the beach, but it is often very windy and it is not possible to have a meal outside. -The master bedroom looks good on the picture but it is not practical at all, you hit your head on the canopy and the feet on the bed frame, which is almost on the floor. -The master bath, if you can call it that, is very small with only one sink and a toilet, hardly space for one person. There is a separate shower and a bath, which is okay. - The living room furniture is too big for the size of the room and the dining table has such an odd shape that four people can’t sit around it comfortably. What annoyed us most is the stained carpet, a tiled floor would be much more hygienic. -The kitchen has everything needed but the dishwasher is very small. We would love to come back to the Sandcastle-1 but not to this apartment. Andrew and his team are just great we will definitely book with them again.

Wonderful summer vacation

It's the best place to go with children for summer vacation, and one of the best place to stay is Sandcastle 1! Unit 1201 has spectacular view not only to the ocean , but also to Marco Island and 1000 Island. We enjoyed sunsets from the balcony every evening, watch dolphins and manatees.

Modern zen paradise with the most stunning sunsets ever....

Wow, the pictures don't do this condo justice. If you appreciate sublime design in a compact space you will appreciate the details of quality in this relaxing oasis. I did recognize the Roche Bobois sofa and The Feg canopy master bedroom bed which has a unbelivable comfortable Prana matress , so my wife and I were in heaven. The owners have really made this an experience for the sopisticated loungers. Sunsets from the larger wrap around deck are breathtaking. One of our most enjoyable experiences can't wait to go back!

SUNBATHING HAVEN

THIS WAS THE PERFECT BACKDROP FOR SUN DRENCHED MORNINGS AND ROMANTIC SUNSETS! THE TERRACE IS THE PERFECT SPOT FOR AN ALFRESCO MEAL OR RELAXING WITH A GLASS OF WINE. THE SPACE BOASTS A CONTEMPORARY BAHAMA BREEZE FEEL WITH JUST THE AMENITIES YOU NEED TO ENJOY YOUR VACATION ON THE BEACH.. THIS MARCO ISLAND CONDO WAS TRULY A HAVEN! SO GLAD WE COULD EXPERIENCE IT! YOU WILL TOO!

Beautiful view, musty odor.. uncomfortable for seniors.

Reviewer Comments: I have been a frequent visitor to Marco Island for the last 30 years, and stayed at Sandcastle 1 twice before, always having enjoyed ourselves. The property description was accurate, but immediately upon entering the unit, a musty odor and peeling paint was evident. The furnishings are satisfactory, except the bedroom furniture, which is too large for the room size making it difficult to navigate about, especially in the darkness at night. Beautiful view!! Sandcastle 1 is a lovely condo, the residents are friendly and employees pleasant. I can not recommend this unit, especially for seniors, as the furniture could present problems for older adults. Also, the owner needs to correct the musty odor problem. We will certainly consider Sandcastle 1 for future vacations, but not this unit.
