ABOUT THE SPACE
Enjoy the best vacation ever in this gorgeous, newly built lakefront home on Lake Wallenpaupack. When you think of truly relaxing you will think of this house.
This 3 bedroom home is in the heart of the Pocono Mountains and only minutes away from year-round activities including skiing, water sports, golf, casinos, historical sites, fun parks and much much more. 3 bedrooms might sound too small for your family but it is so much more than just the three bedrooms. Each bedroom is it's own Master Suite.
There are also two other spaces for sleeping so everyone can spread out if needed.
This 3 level home comfortably sleeps 10. The key features of this home are a sweeping cathedral ceiling, wood-burning fireplace, air conditioning, barbeque, private lakefront with dock, and two kayaks. There is plenty of outdoor seating. There are breathtaking views from the deck overlooking the lake, as well as from the loft, the dock, and the screened in porch. This property is in the small community of Knollwood.
The living room and family room downstairs both have large flatscreen smart TV's. Downstairs has Roku. You can enjoy you favorite cable shows as well as several premium channels, also a DVD player. There is a Weber barbeque grill, wood burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with all the modern appliances and air conditioning. There is a portable crib which can be used in any of the bedrooms.
Our view of Lake Wallenpaupack is fabulous and you can enjoy the sunrises over the lake in the morning. There is a walking path down to the lake, with seating around the firepit half way down, which is a much needed respite from the walk down or up. We do not hide the fact that it is a hike down to the water and back up. You will defiantly get your steps in. Not recommended for mobility challenged people. Plenty of parking is available with our wide driveway and off-the street parking space.
THE SPACE
Each of the three Master Suites' has a king-sized bed and a private bathroom, everyone in your family will get to relax after a day of splashing in the water! The kiddies will have a blast in the basement sleeping area which features 1 full bunk bed and 1 twin bunk bed. Need even more room? The upstairs loft has a daybed with trundle (two twins) and a pull-out couch (full).

GUEST ACCESS

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
75% of guests need to be 30 or older with an exception for children traveling with their parents. The remaining 25%, will need to be 25 and over.
This home is for families and respectful guests, it is not a party property. All bookings are required to sign a short-term lease after the booking has been accepted to satisfy community requirements.
WHO WE ARE
This property is managed by a local real estate agent. Property Owners rely on our team to book and manage their home for you and to make sure your rental needs are met. To make sure each property is well maintained, each reservation will require a rental agreement to be signed. The Rental Agreement is posted on this site and is available for review at check out. In addition to the Rental Agreement posted on VRBO, you will receive a Reservation Form that is required to be completed within 48 hours of receipt.
Our communities are also governed by township Rental Ordinances which impose certain rules and regulations for owners.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Our rental management includes 24-hour emergency response for any issues that arise.
Parking is available for up to 6 cars and boat trailers.
Day Guests are limited to 4 people over the 10 allowed for overnight guests.
LAKE INFO
Swimming and/or Floating is encouraged. Water is great for swimming and water levels are always high enough for a boat to be docked
Rocky Shoreline access – lake level fluctuates depending on the season.
Spring – Lake levels will be high. The docks do not start getting installed until late April. We do not GUARANTEE any dock in the water before Memorial Day.
Summer – High Water Mark is June 1st. Depending on the weather, the lake levels may come up higher than that making the docks hard to access as their walkways will be underwater. We do our best to make sure they are accessible, but we cannot always get to them on demand.
Fall – Water levels will be lowest, and docks will start to be removed from the lake until the spring. Boats can still be docked, water levels at the end of the docks are still acceptable for boat docking.
Winter – Lake usually freezes, and ice fishing is popular. Any access to the frozen lake is “at your own risk”.
HOUSE RULES
No Smoking inside – smoking outside only. Must not leave any butts and ashes behind
NO FIREWORKS or discharging of any firearm is not permitted. Includes BB, air, pellet, paint guns.
Quiet time 11pm – 8am – this is a family-oriented neighborhood, no late-night parties allowed. Voices carry at night when it’s quiet. If you are out late at the firepit or on the deck, please keep noise to a minimum.
