The property is well managed and the photos exactly justify what proper looks like. The garden is managed perfectly, and the property is highly recommended if you want to have a little time off to cool off your mind.
We had a one night stay and found it peaceful and quiet. The Yurt is cozy. Host gave us privacy. Close to all Bowral has to offer. Thanks for taking our booking.
Loved the property, tucked away off the road in a beautiful rose garden. The roses were in full bloom and magnificent. The yurt itself was a masterpiece in craftsmanship and we loved the rustic feel of it and enjoyed our visit.

Colin’s place is warm and cozy at the back of his beautiful garden. The place is neat and tidy and the area is lovely to walk around with established trees and beautiful homes. Colin went above and beyond to make our stay easy and relaxing.

Set in a beautiful garden setting it was very quiet and peaceful. Lovely birdsong in the morning.
Spacious enough for 1 or 2 people with a very comfortable bed dining table microwave and fridge
Colin and his wife were lovely. The accommodation was exactly as described. A short drive or moderate walk to the middle of town. Great spot for a short stay
Our hosts were extremely accomodating when a late flight caused us to turn up extremely late. The yurt was clean, warm and had everything we needed. It was comfortable and homely.
We would stay here again happily!
This is is a unique place- a Yert. We enjoyed it but two nights would be max for us. Just one large room with the shower/toilet through a very low door- watch your head! However we enjoyed our stay.
The photos give a much better impression than the property deserves. Everything is just “made do” and nothing was outstanding. The doubts started with finding the address for the property and only deteriorated from that. It was a very cold place too.
I really enjoyed my stay in this beautiful spot, the cottage had all I could ask for, in a lovely garden and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It is a little further out of town, I enjoyed the walk but some might prefer to travel by car. I was there for parkrun after all, which was only another 1km up the road in the Botanic gardens, so I was perfectly placed 🙂
Whilst only overnight feel very grateful to have ‘found’ this little gem. Quiet, well appointed with gorgeous garden. Cosy and clean, with thoughtful hosts. Thank you for sharing your yurt!
Cozy, comfortable, perfect setting and location. Good and useful advice received from Colin. He was always available for helpful tips. His wife kindly boiled eggs for us on her stove each morning as the cooking facilities include a microwave and barbeque.

quick one night stop over in a town we had never been to, lead to a night in this adorable yurt. Small but accommodating all your needs.
Host was friendly and informative. The cottage garden and nature's own bird life music was a pleasure to relax in.
We plan on staying again. Happy to recommend this property.

Why they chose this property
After living in cities for most of our lives, we saw our retirement as an opportunity to escape to the country and enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle. Bowral was an easy choice as the town has first class health services, all major supermarkets , a good selection of retail outlets and many excellent restaurants. It 's only a 2 hour train ride to the city of Sydney and a short drive to the South Coast. What's more it's one of the most beautiful parts of NSW with lots to see and do, plus the "locals" are friendly and welcoming.
