29ft Alpha Wolf RV PLUS Sibley double bell tent COMBO! @EvansCliff, Hot Tub!

900sqft deck plus a 13x19 Sibley Double Bell canvas tent on the deck! Just like our other Sibley sites.

Chance of a lifetime to go on an affordable luxury RV vacation! No fuel expense, no camp site expense, no setup, no cleanup. Full setup kitchen, inside and outside fridge, towels, blankets, sheets. We have it setup so anyone can drive right up, walk in and enjoy!

Private spot from other RVs, with an amazing view (this is not your normal RV park ;).

If you are bringing more than 1 pet, please contact first before booking. The pet fee is for 1 pet.

a beautiful view over hot brook canyon. Easy walk along the cliff side or get a real workout hiking down the grade 220 ft cliff side.

Queen bed in bed room, couch sofa sleeper, plus a queen and a double bed in the tent!

Fire pit and propane provided... dry summers forced us to give up the wood pits.

Nice bathroom and shower.

Ac, wifi, Coffee pot is a Keurig / drip combo pot.

Enjoy everything from beautiful sunrises to amazing sunsets.

RV is parked in a secluded area in the trees close to the cliff, but still easy to get to with a car or motorcycle and well hidden from the main house.

Please remember this is a RV/Camping experience, the RV does have AC, but in the hot summer months we can not guarantee the RV will be as cool as your home. The nights typically drop down in the 50's/60s even in the summer, so with open windows, it usually is very comfortable sleeping.

What a gift!!!!

This property is perfect if you want to experience the Black Hills in a quite, serene and gorgeous spot. My family and I truly enjoyed pur stay and will most likely be back even though we are local!

Family Roadtrip

We stopped here for the rest and relaxation portion of our trip. Boys, 11, had a great time exploring, sleeping in the tent and in general had a blast. Super sweet kitties and dogs! The adults marveled over the gorgeous view on the deck. WOW! Many places to relax here. We all loved our stay!

First time "glamping"

This was the first time my husband and I had visited out west or glamped. We also brought our dog with us. It was a great experience! Our campsite was beautiful and the property as a whole was private and peaceful. The RV and tent were super clean and comfortable. And the hosts were so kind, accommodating, and easy to get in touch with. I would recommend this rental to everyone!

Beautiful Views and Quiet Spot an Hour From Custer State Park

This camper site has fantastic views from the huge deck and the property is peaceful and quiet. We were perfectly comfortable for 9 nights here, and we were able to enjoy many places of interest by using it as our home base. As the crow flies it is very close to lots, but note that driving to places takes much time on the winding, indirect routes. This spot would garner five stars but for a bit of wear and a lack of some kitchen essentials (for example, there were only two bowls, but we certainly made do).

Peaceful getaway

Our accommodations were perfect for those of us who have enjoyed camping but no longer want to tow RVs, set up our own tents or sleep on the ground. We had all the conveniences of home plus a hot tub and quiet, peaceful serenity for longtime friends to reconnect.

Peaceful Stay

Beautiful, quiet, clean. It was a perfect family getaway before school starts. One tip is there is no cell service if you use USCellular. So be prepared with the directions before you get close.

Great experience!

We loved our time at Evan’s Cliff and appreciated Wade and Patricia allowing us to stay! We were looking for a last minute getaway for our family before school and everyone loved it. The only reason for one less star is that they have an unfriendly neighbor that they mention at check in that was never mentioned while booking and as a mom to young kids, this made me nervous. Apparently he does not like dogs and people. I would have appreciated a little more transparency about this while booking. Other than that, we enjoyed our time!

This place was great! Quiet and comfortable. Just a heads up…if you ride a motorcycle there you better not be afraid of a little bit of a hill and decent gravel road.

Father's Day Fun

I can't say enough about the owners AND this property! They are some of the most accommodating people I know. We stayed in the Alpha Wolf again this year. Two times for me and around 4 times for my daughter and son-in-law. It is so tranquil there and you actually get the run of the property to play games and hike. We love to play bocce and kubb and many other board and word games. I think every site (or nearly every site) has a hot tub too. We didn't have enough time to enjoy it though because we were always playing games. Our dogs played with their dogs and it's always nice to see Waylon and WIllie (their pet goats). They are so creative with their sites as well. No two sites are alike! Great for friends, family and even just your significant other to relax, read and enjoy life. Usually it is very quiet too, but this time I think we got a little boisterous at times playing a couple of our games. (Sorry Wade and Patricia!!) I hope you guys will have us back and we'll try and keep our dogs a little closer to our site :) Anyway...Please try this experience. You won't be disappointed!!!

Spectacular views

We loved having this place as our “base camp”. Beautiful scenery. Very relaxing to come back to and chill. The kids loved the experience. The bigger bed in the tent was the favorite place to sleep, very comfortable. Wonderful hosts, great communication. Thanks for the great experience! Can’t want to come back!

Friends getaway

The Alpha Wolf was everything described and more. It was a peaceful time away for the four of us. We couldn't have asked for better weather and the views are spectacular. The location has easy access to many local sites, hiking, fishing and more. Though we didn't take part in all the area offers, it gives us many reasons to return. The hosts have prepared the location with everything we need to be comfortable and use the site safely. We will be back.

Very enjoyable

Being this was our second time here, apparently we like this place. There are 3 actual RVs that have a deck next to them 2RVs that have a deck, hot tub, sitting areas. 1 site that also has a tent on the deck, with a hot tub, bar bq grill that does LP gas and charcoal. Vic and I took the RV and the kids in their 40s and 2.5y.o toddler took the tent. Very comfortable they told us, the baby loved it. The RV has a living and kitchen area. Bathroom with shower and a bedroom with a queen. This site sits on a top of a cliff that over looks a beautiful valley. As do a couple of the other sites. One site has a 25ft cabin cruiser with a tent on the deck, with a great view and 2 others that are tents on the decks, also with great views. The owner/managers Wade and Patricia are very helpful. I asked Wade if there was a tree with a good sized branch so we could hang a swing we brought. He installed a rope swing with a wooden seat. Thank you for that Wade! Thought it to much for the grandkid, he loved it. Each site has a LP fire pit. So the youngen had his 1st s'mores , he loved that. Location is a bit of a ride up a winding blacktop road for 3.5 miles from Hot Springs that turns into gravel for 1.5 miles. For us being far away was better. Very quiet. Dogs are welcome, they have 2 and also 2 goats that are friendly. They have a couple Frisbee golf holes. Plenty of room to move around up on Evans Cliff. Our trip was very good. Will be back.

We are a product of on online dating. Patricia moved from MN to the Northern Hills in 1979. Wade was born in Spearfish, but was living in Colorado, counting days until the next time he could get back the 'The Hills'.

Why they chose this property

When we found the property online, we fell in love with the house... and Wade the shop. But after we came to see it in person and walked to the cliff... well, it was just amazing. You have to see it in person to understand. Everyday, we tell our 3 dogs and 3 cats, 'we are going to the cliff' and we all take a hike together, stopping just to sit and look. Seems like every hike, we see something new, we never noticed before.

What makes this property unique

We want every guest to feel right at home and provide everything you could ever need. We treat our guests as family... that traveled from across the country and have what they need to relax and prepare for the best vacation possible. We know most families only get 1 or 2 vacations a year, we are very honored to be a part of that experience.
