Glacier National Park West Entrance - Less than 1 mile to Park

This custom home only one mile from the west entrance to Glacier National Park has 2,500 sq. ft of living space and an enormous outside deck with patio furniture and extra chairs. Fully licensed by the State of Montana as a Public Accommodation meeting all health standards. Three large bedrooms with upstairs loft as the 4th bedroom and three and a half bathrooms with lots of room. Each floor has its own full bath, so perfect for 3 couples to have their own floor. There are DVDs, books, games, TV and Wi-fi to make you feel at home and plenty of cookware and kitchen items.
Stunning views of the Rocky Mountains in Glacier National Park and less than one mile from the village of West Glacier where you can do grocery shopping, dine out, go souvenir shopping, eat ice cream, play mini-golf, go rafting or drive into Glacier National Park. Golfing is also right down the road about 1/3 of a mile.
Upstairs room has queen bed and one full-size bed and full bath and mountain viewing area with TV and DVD player.
Main level has fire place, kitchen, family room, master bedroom with king bed, full bathroom with jacuzzi tub and walk in shower, powder room and large deck with BBQ and tables.
Downstairs has another family room with two bedrooms - one with queen bed and twin sofa sleeper couch and another bedroom with queen bed. Full bath, washer and dryer and outside access to yard and firepit area.
Quality construction throughout, solid core doors, very comfortable, cozy beds and very quiet and lots of extra space.
This property is in an exclusive subdivision and there are neighbors nearby, so no loud parties or large groups please. Parking is limited to 6 cars and no parking on county road (Sloan Lane) or on Wild River Drive (private drive) is allowed. Solid core alder doors and extra insulation provide extra sound proofing and guests can stay on 3 different floors and have their own bathroom. New windows, siding, air conditioning and 6-ft Whirpool/AirBath/Jacuzzi tub in the primary suite and walk-in tiled shower. Lots of firewood available for the firepit since we've been doing tree trimming to cut down on fire season dangers.
Your home away from home with excellent Wi-Fi in case you do need to check in occasionally.

Nice house and property.
A very nice house with a nice large deck. The house was really stocked with nice items and the beds were comfortable. I liked the quiet out on the deck a lot. Had visitors of deer in the back yard. Being so close to the park entrance was helpful in getting early starts to beat crowds in the park. We will book this again.

The proximity to Glacier, responsiveness of the owner and the quality of the property rates a solid 5!!! A large house with sitting areas on all floors. The place was clean, and everything worked!! Beds and pillows could use an upgrade, but that is all I can find to mention! Thanks Dawn!

Fantastic Stay
This is quite possibly the most nicely appointed property among all the beach and ski condos we've ever stayed in. The kitchen is clearly the most fully equipped blenders fry pans baking dishes immersion blenders everything you could possibly want. On top of that the deck is absolutely to die for! Dawn is very reachable and easy to communicate with and helpful in a variety of suggestions about the area. Would definitely recommend staying here and we would stay again.

Great Location
Just minutes from the entrance to the park. Very clean and well stocked with kitchen items. Dawn and family were very responsive and informative. Views of mountains were limited due to tree growth which was out of the owner's control.

Amazing property with an even better location!
The most amazing location you will find! Our family of three pre-teens, and my husband and I loved this place. We had two empty beds and a bathroom we never even used. The photos do not do this place justice. We enjoyed the blackout shades the day we wanted to sleep in. The area is super quiet and relaxing. The host is thoughtful and provided plenty of towels, bedding, and paper products. We definitely recommend you book this place. Location Location Location! Don’t wait an hour in the Glacier entrance line. Book here and be right at the entrance.

Perfect Home for GNP Visit
This house is great - just the right size for my family get-together, and in the perfect location for daily outings into Glacier National Park. The back deck was wonderful, and we spent every sunset sitting there admiring the view, the weather and re-hashing the day. We'll have so many wonderful memories of this trip. Dawn was a great host. She answered all of our questions promptly and made the whole rental experience a positive one.

Great family house!
2 parents, 3 ‘kids’ plus a significant other= 6 adults in this amazing house!! All had their own space to sleep, enough bathrooms for privacy, the kitchen had everything we needed to complete our hearty, pre-hike breakfasts, the deck was great place to hang playing games and enjoying the view and the fire pit helped light up the night sky! Also loved the cd collection!!

We loved our stay here! Super close to the park entrance on the south side of glacier, and really not too bad of a drive to groceries in Columbia Falls and restaurants in Whitefish!

Great Stay in West Glacier
We had a great vacation at Dawn's home in West Glacier. Everything was as described (or better). The house is very spacious with great views from the deck. Our boys loved having the downstairs all to themselves, each with their own bedroom. Everything is updated and new. Dawn was very helpful with suggestions and check in was a breeze. We will be back.

Incredible location
Fabulous house, Beautiful deck, Comfortable beds, great kitchen, strong, hot Showers and Incredible location. Loved being able to just pop over to Apgar village and Lake McDonald for sunset. You can really enjoy the park after 4 pm so easily. So if you don’t have a pass this location is especially awesome. Just wonderful all the way around.

What at amazing house so close to Glacier National Park… The house was clean and had everything we needed for the week concerning amenities. It also had Bear Spray which was appreciated but not needed. Dawn (property owner) contacted me days beforehand to give me a run down and was very helpful. The bathrooms were newly renovated. Beds were very comfortable. Did I mention the location? West Glacier is less than 4 minutes away (highly recommend the Belton Chalet for dinner). Only downside was that we were unable sit in the yard (fire pit) since it hadn’t been mowed. Highly recommend this place! Very spacious….

Wonderful stay near the west entrance of Glacier
House was lovely and clean. My husband and I traveled with another couple and it was perfect for us. Beautiful views of the mountains, and the neighborhood was very quiet. Any questions I had were answered by Dawn immediately. We wish we could have stayed longer!

A perfect location for visiting GLacier National Park
The house was perfect for our group of six, although it sleeps many more than that. It was very well stocked, clean, comfortable and only two minutes from the West entrance to the park. The West Glacier village is even closer with convenience store, restaurant, coffee shop, bar, outfitter and post office. The house is in a beautiful, quiet area. The owner Dawn, was so gracious to update the DirecTV channels, so we could watch our favorite college team play football!! Everything was perfect!

The location was phenomenal - only a few minutes from the entrance. Close to necessities (food, ice cream, gas), yet secluded to enjoy the deck and night sky. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend! We even played family games that were provided. This cabin has everything and more than we needed for a week’s stay!

This was a perfect home for our Glacier adventure. We are a family of six; parents, one teen and three adult children and we had plenty of room. The location of the home is ideal for entry into the park. Owner is super easy to work with and so pleasant. I highly recommend this property.

Raised in West Glacier, my parents built the West Glacier Golf Course. I now live in San Diego and teach college at MiraCosta Community College, Miramar College and Palomar Community college and run a small consulting business and assist in managing this property.

Why they chose this property

West Glacier is one of the most charming towns you will find. It is one mile from the entrance to Glacier National Park and right above the West Glacier golf course. An easy walk to town or the golf course. Rafting, golfing, dining, rafting and shopping all walking distance away.

What makes this property unique

Very private, quiet and lots of space for families to enjoy on 3 different levels. Sometimes it is good for the kids to be on the lower level, so the vacationing adults can have some peace and quiet. Full bathroom on each floor, so not far to go to go.
