About this property

Jordan Vacation Home at Windcliff by RedAwning

Larimer County Approval Number: 20-NCD0112

Jordan is a premier Chambord vacation home located at prestigious Windcliff

Estates. It's absolutely perfect for family gatherings, or as an intimate

romantic retreat for you and your partner. No matter the occasion, you'll

immerse yourself in the mountains here at Jordan.

The Jordan Vacation Home Experience

Your experience at the Jordan condo begins with the lofty, beamed great room.

It features windows big enough to encompass a view of the magnificent Mummy

Range of the Rocky Mountains in nearby Rocky Mountain National Park. At the

Jordan home in Windcliff, you can enjoy the best of both worlds: the rustic,

evocative ambiance of a Rocky Mountain cabin rental -- plus the luxury only a

Windcliff vacation home can provide. This cozy home base surrounds you with

elegant earth tones, luxurious rich-touch leather furniture for lounging, and

carefully chosen decor that embodies the Colorado mountain spirit.

A large-screen TV, moss-rock wood-burning fireplace, and an electronic

keyboard are companions to the comfortable seating. There's even a "chairman

of the board" toddler's chair -- complete with a miniature ottoman. The

cupboard beside the fireplace is rife with games and puzzles to play with

family and friends when you need a break from the adventure.

Dining and Entertainment at the Jordan Home

Jordan's kitchen is primed and prepped for you to bring your loftiest,

fanciest menu plans to fruition. (The breakfast or beverage bar is well-

appointed with bar stools for those not directly involved in the cooking,

too.) A beautiful slate dining table awaits the presentation of your culinary

masterpiece. And -- when the outdoors is calling -- step out onto the deck at

hand. It's kissed by trees and beckons with a family table all its own, plus a

gas grill and seating aplenty... even rockers! Wildlife grazes within your

field of view. The stunning peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park tower before

you. And the National Park is literally within hand-shaking proximity. Walk

off the deck, cross the driveway, and within 50 feet you can step over your

own private boundary into the National Park.

Lodging and Rest at the Jordan Vacation Home

The master bedroom suite boasts a Jacuzzi hot tub and the million-dollar views

that have made Windcliff so famous. One level down is a second master suite,

the same mind-bending views, yet another hot tub all its own, and a pictorial

presentation of two of the National Park's premier offerings -- Long's Peak

and beautiful Bear Lake. The king bed is draped in rich tapestry. Down one

more level is a queen bedroom plus bunk beds.

Jordan's Private Hot Tub Suite

On this level, you won't believe what's in store for you. At your disposal is

a cedar-lined, private hot tub suite. This private oasis of relaxation is

stocked with plush towels stacked and ready. Windows on three sides open to

trees and vistas of indescribable beauty. There's no better place at the end

of the day to rest your muscles and reflect on the hikes, sights, and

experiences you have enjoyed in the mountains.

In town for a wedding

Shared the house with my parents & my family for a wedding weekend. Loved the deck and stayed up late with all the lights out watching the stars. We left the wedding a bit early to catch the sunset and stare at the view out the livingroom windows. Left the higher windows open, nights were cool, meant very good sleep. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows and blankets. I white knuckled the drive up to the house the first time, but it got easier each time we went out. One of the locks was tricky. I didn't want to force it so we didn't use that door. The other one worked fine. Saw elk and lots of birds. Great time, would definitely book again if we go up to Estes Park.

Beautiful views, dated home

The location was great in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful mountain views. It did take about 8 minutes from the entrance of the neighborhood to get to the home with the switchbacks which we weren't expecting but it wasn't an issue at all. The layout was great for our family of five and the supplies in the kitchen were fantastic! The downside is that the house is super dated but the photos online don't really show it so we were a little surprised. The colorful laminate counters in the bathrooms could be overlooked if it weren't for the mismatched light bulbs and crazy amount of fluorescent lighting. The carpet definitely needs a refresh as well. While the home felt clean there were things like dirty light switches and outlet covers that would be quick fixes to improve the renting experience. It is not air conditioned and it was pretty hot on several days of our visit so the main level was pretty stuffy even with the windows open. Only one bathroom had working outlets but in their defense we didn't call the property manager to report that because we didn't want people in the home. We advised upon checkout so hopefully that is resolved for future guests. This is a gem of a house but needs a little TLC for the rate being charged. Location is great near town and the Estes Park YMCA.

The perfect getaway!

This property is amazing! Taking in amazing views of the mountains while enjoying the warmth of a wood fire is beyond description. It’s within perfect distance to enjoy the RMNP and Estes Park. We look forward to staying here several times in the coming years.
