Nice place but confusing check in directions
There was confusion about check in instructions. The room was cute and very nice. We would stay again. Very private.

Wonderful!
Host was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was perfect with the kitchenette and large shower. Breakfast provided was great and nice to have a healthy start to the day. Massage was wonderful. Was there early July. Perfect location. Within walking distance to Augusta Emporium/Wine trolly stop, Augusta Winery, and Mount Pleasant. The area around the place was beautiful with the thoughtful landscaping. Would definitely stay again. Great experience!

Great to Stay in August
My wife and I stayed in Augusta on our way to view the eclipse in Indiana. It was a great sojourn. It is also very central to all of the major wineries in the area. So if you like good wine and the usual bar and brewery food you are okay. Halcyon provides you with a nice continental breakfast with all of the food right in their refrigerator. The service is excellent and the bed was very comfortable. And the windows OPENED, so you can enjoy the nice cool breezes in the evening. We stayed in the bottom apartment so you could sit outside on a nice patio with table and chairs to enjoy your wine, cheese, and snacks. The only issue was that on the very sunny last day of our trip, we couldn’t sit there because there was no umbrella, but is was a beautiful day, so we just went inside to our breakfast nook and opened the window by the table. It was nice.My wife had a great massage and it was another reason for our visit to Halycon. We looked forward going to Roots + Wine for dinner, however we were very disappointed. The flavor profiles were too unique, portions were ultra small, and the bill was very large for what we got. The wine list was extensive and the wines were very good.We will DEFINITELY stay here again, if we are in the area. I probably wouldn’t do it in the heat of a Missouri Summer with the western facing rooms we had, but it was great here in the Spring and the Fall would be nice for this room. The other major comment would be that there was only one reading lamp with one chair and no reading lamps or side tables. We need lamps and tables by the beds. The place is about 4-4.5 rating, but I always round up on halves.

Would love to try it again in better circumstances.
The room was cozy & we loved the heated floors in the bathroom. We arrived in a snowstorm and no one was there to tell us where to go, even though we arrived within the timeframe that the instructions said someone would be there, so it was confusing for a little bit until we finally got ahold of the last person on the contact list. (I will forever be grateful to Julie for braving the storm and walking over to help us find our way because we had even driven through the town to see if someone could help us but it was literally all closed down). I think they usually bring a nicer breakfast (weather permitting) but in our case, it was simply there was some yogurt & bagels in the fridge & some granola & fruit on the counter. So that is what we were given for 2 mornings of breakfasts. Luckily, we had brought 2 salads from Washington before we headed to the B&B or there would have been nothing for supper either, as everything was shut down. I can only rave about the spa & the massages were A+. I appreciate that they braved the weather the next morning & showed up for our appointments. The spa is not connected to the B&B business, but they went the extra mile & found us some coffee because even the small coffee shop in town remained closed the following day. In fairness, I would try this again, in season, because I think this could be wonderful! I would just warn persons that if you try this in the off season & the weather forecast could be bad, to call them in advance to get instructions so when you get there, you know where to go and please bring provisions because they might not be available. I laughed because there isn't even a Dollar General there! (no gas station or convivence store either). The wineries are great but they too were shut down during the storm & even when they opened the next day, they have limited winter hours. Our personal favorite was Augusta Winery! The Emporium opened up later the next day & I would recommend that you check that out also! On the final day, we just headed to Washington to enjoy a good breakfast. The town is quaint and I can't wait to visit it again someday!

perfect weekend away
We were wanting a relaxing weekend away and that's exactly what we got! Absolutely enjoyed the rustic vibe and loved that there was not a tv. We unplugged from the world and rested. We had the most amazing meal at Root that was a short drive and had a wonderful couples massage. We definitely will be back!!

Cozy, and centrally located
This property was very comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast items left in the hotel room were also very appreciated. Please note, at the time we stayed, there was no TV. Neither was their any type of dresser or closet to put your clothing in. So plan accordingly. That said, we still very much enjoyed our time at this space. Just a short 1 minute walk from the property and you're at the Augusta emporium. Another two or three minutes up the street and you're at one of the two wineries in town. The other wineries are anywhere from 3 to 15 minutes outside of town, but you can catch a free trolley that will take you to two of those wineries.

Wonderful Weekend BnB

This small BnB room, in heart of Augusta, is a great place for two people to enjoy a weekend away.
As mentioned, the guest room is around the back of the Halcyon Spa. The pad has ample parking for two cars. When we arrived, everything was perfectly clean. Additionally, the kitchenette was well stocked with bagels, cream cheese, parfaits, muffins, and coffee. Do not plan on making any elaborate meals here, as the kitchenette does not have a stove or oven, and only a mini-fridge. We ate out at the wineries for some meals, and brought pre-made salads which we enjoyed in the room. The bathroom is spacious, featuring multiple shower heads and a heated floor. The use of the sauna is an added bonus. And the king-sized bed was VERY comfortable. When you spend a weekend in Augusta, there are bunches of different BnB options. We've tried most of them, but this might just be our favorite. Side note: get a reservation for a massage at Halcyon. The quality is equal to any high-end spa at a destination resort, at a fraction of the cost.

Perfect stay for a wedding in Augusta
You won’t be disappointed with this rental. Great little spot. Clean. Comfortable bed. Nice shower with plenty of water pressure. Sweet little studio kitchen with various continental breakfast foods provided. Easy check in. We did not have time for spa services which I can only assume would be amazing too.

Perfect Spot for a Weekend Getaway
The Halcyon is a wonderful spa, and the studio apartment is a great place for a weekend getaway. The bathroom is large and spacious, with a heated floor. The rest of the studio apartment is just as pictured, and offers privacy and seclusion while being within walking distance to all to the town. The staff at Halcyon is really wonderful and welcoming. It's a perfect location for a weekend getaway.

Wonderful Private Get-away
My husband and I had a great time at this room for our 10 year anniversary. We were in walking distance of 2 wineries and the trolley stop was a really quick walk away. I would highly recommend this place for couples getting away to reconnect. It was so perfect.

Beautifully Relaxing
First, the staff at Halcyon were 100% transparent and inviting. The room itself was super cozy. We had no problem feeling at home. The breakfast offerings were more than enough for two people, and I really liked their choice of non-GMO, vegetarian-friendly foods. It seems as if they have every base covered. While it did get chilly (early Missouri Spring, go figure) there was a very effective space heater available. There was also an overabundance of towels available for the luxurious shower in the room. The spa itself was super relaxing, and we booked a full trifecta for my wife, who felt completely relaxed and calm after her sessions. I enjoyed an hour in the infrared sauna. We both left the spa much happier and relaxed than when we went in. As this was a weekend away from the kiddos, we enjoyed this beautiful, cozy stay in Missouri's wine country. There are great wineries within walking distance, and decent dining available in nearby Washington, MO. We hope to visit again!

Quiet-Calm-Relaxing
Husband and I took a weekend to get away and this little B&B was the perfect stay! Within walking distance to several wineries in town and not too far of a drive to lots more! Breakfast served was warm, delicious, and healthy! Bed was super cozy and walk-in shower was awesome! We didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit outside, but definitely will make sure to do so the next time we visit!
