The unit was very clean! Beds were somewhat comfortable. Box springs should be added to kids beds. Linens on master bed need to be updated as they are frayed. Loved the gated community! Getting in and out was super easy! Biggest set back: thermostat was locked to a minimum of 72 degrees. We had someone with us that uses a CPap and the temperature has huge impact on the moisture/humidity if it’s not low enough. This caused them to not sleep well during the trip which can really derail an experience. Given that the temp outside was over 70-72 at night there was no risk of unit freezing. It would have been nice to know that up front. Other than that, everything was good. I would stay there again if the air conditioner was more adjustable.

1st trip to Disney

Perfect for my husband and myself, our 2 kids (9 & 10) and our good friend. It was quiet, clean, and an easy drive to the parks. We will be back!

Cute little community and townhouse

This was perfect for our stay! The property manager was very helpful when one of the blinds was not working and promptly answered our call and replaced them. The neighborhood was very nice and clean and gated. Plenty of towels too!

Stay was great. The cleanliness of the property was the only negative part abouty stay. The sofa had a smell to it Property should add cooking ware. The pans are worn out and unsafe to cook in.

Great Location

We rented this property for the week so we could go to Disney with our 5 year old granddaughter. This location was a short drive to all the Disney parks. The unit was very comfortable, spacious and clean. It was great having a washer and dryer in the unit. The pool area was quiet and clean. Loved the neighborhood and gated community. We will stay here again.

Pleasant enough but needs attention

The owners were easy to deal with and helpful. The resort itself was landscaped nicely and I enjoyed my morning walks. We enjoyed our stay for the most part. I knew that the bedrooms were on the 2nd floor but the narrowness and turn in the stairway made bit difficult to navigate if you were carrying something like a laundry basket or suitcase. The railing moved when you grabbed it. I have 3 major complaints. The first is the bedding. We only slept in the master. The sheets and mattress topper did not stay in place. The comforter was old and thin, although there were newer ones in drawers and closets. The worse was the pillows - 2 small, lumpy pillows in each kingsize pillowcase. The shower has had so much leakage and spackle repair that the base makes noise when showering, making you feel unsafe. There is mold in all of the tracks. The windows and sliders are so filthy (inside and out), including the window ledges, that we left the window coverings closed. The minimal furniture on the decks was old and dirty so we never went out on the decks. (Too bad because the master deck overlooking the trees would have been a lovely place to sit and read a book. A good deep clean, shower replacement, and new bedding would make this rental a 4+.

We enjoyed our oath at Emerald Island Resort!! Our place was clean and beautiful!! Fred and Val were outstanding managers. Nice pool. Clubhouse people were great to work with.

Overall a nice place to stay

This home was close to Disney World, which was exactly what we needed. The biggest issue is that the check in process was strange and confusing. We had to go to a gate beyond the entrance of the neighborhood to get a gate pass then double back, and the pass only worked about half the time. The other half, the gate was either fully open or security had to assist us. We found some mold and hair that didn’t belong to us and there was a noticeable lack of cleaning supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms, but we left behind a barely-used sponge so the next guest hopefully won’t have the same issue. The railing on the stairs was really wobbly, there was a dangerous hole in the wall of the twin bed room for an extension cord, a knob was missing from the queen bedroom closet, the pillows on the king bed were useless, and the thermostat seemed to have a cap, but for the most part, it was a decent place to stay.

Loved this gem!

My husband and I were visiting the area to help family move to a new location. We visit Florida at least 5x a year and rent from VRBO. This place is a gem! It's spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable and the owner had supplies that we needed. Right down to a first aid box because I had a blister from so much walking. The kitchen was stocked and plenty of clean towels for the bathrooms. This is a gated community and the entire neighborhood was nicely landscaped. Right down to the trash bins on property in the ground! That's smart and convenient! Plenty of stores nearby and in a central location of Four Corners, which we are very familiar with. Owner communicates right away and helped us with our late check in due to our flight. Washer and dryer on the 1st floor with laundry pods provided and the living room furniture is new. House is updated and we felt right at home. Highly recommended for families or just a quiet get away. Thank you for everything!

Excellent time away

We have stayed at Emerald Isle many times but this js the first time we stayed in there he front area. It was very quiet and wonderful time away. We had a few neighbors but it was very quiet. The house was nice and a perfect fit for our family.

Perfect for our stay

The property was clean, well equipped and located in a lovely gated resort. It is very close to the Disney parks but in a quiet location so perfect to come back and relax in after a busy day at the parks. I would definitely recommend it.

Super convenient location for Disney Vacation

My husband and I stayed for a week to go to the Disney Parks. The location to the Parks was very convenient. We had a Walmart close to us so we could get food. There were lots of restaurants close by. My husband enjoyed going to the community hot tub. The community was gated and we felt safe. It was quiet and the main bed was comfy. There were lots of other amenities available like tennis, and basketball. We will stay here again.
