Great spot just north of Phoenix, closer to all the fun attractions even farther north and some great restaurants close by! House was just right with 2 beds, 2 baths, garage, quiet and peaceful with a great view!

Very good stay!
4 of us stayed 2 weeks. All rooms were clean, well stocked and floors even passed the “barefoot” test (rare for rentals). Host Maria was quick to respond and helpful. Good views being up on the hill. Great location away from the high-traffic as you near PHX; but there’s always driving to reach the various hiking trails. Would stay again.

Our Black Canyon winter stay
Our property manager was good at start but less responsive toward end of stay. Our method for getting mail and deliveries had to go thru manager not house delivery . Thus we didn’t like to get mail and packages thru third party. Also furniture average and couch springs broken down.

A Perfect Weekend Stay
My wife and I stayed at this fantastic property while attending a wedding in the area. Everything went smoothly, check in and communication throughout. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again if we find ourselves in this part of Arizona.

We were pleased with the accommodations. However when looking for a place to Stay at we had specified Peoria. This place was about 45 minutes north of where we wanted to be! But it was a very nice place and was in beautiful country!

Nice quiet location convenient off I-17 to make our day trips to Sedona and Flagstaff. House was well stocked in kitchen, bedrooms and baths, just bought food for breakfast and snacks. Family Dollar close by for supplies. Maria replied to all my emails almost instantly!

Very Spacious & Clean
There were a few minor issues with appliances that the landlord can easily resolve, but we enjoyed our stay. We ended up spending more time in the unit than planned, because of the unset of the C-19 Virus, so it was nice to have all the extra space. The attached garage and laundry area were very appreciated. Black Canyon is off the beaten path and the neighborhood is residential, so there isn't much infrastructure nearby. You need to drive to Anthem, which is about 15 minutes away for most supplies. We liked the quick access to Northern AZ and places like Prescott, Sedona & Camp Vera, but we were still close enough to be almost anywhere in the Phoenix are within 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Short stay
We rented this for 3 days but ended up only staying one. The Covid 19 pandemic cancelled all of our plans. But before going down, the hosts cleaned the heck out of the place for us and were in great communication. The view is beautiful, location remote but a short drive to other city of New River and Anthem. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice location,
We really liked the location and the rooms were very clean. The only complaint that I have is the living room furniture was very worn out and not comfortable. We should have known when we saw all the furniture covered which is an indication that something was wrong with it. The house was nicely supplied with dishes, pot and pans, linens, paper products and we loved the view from on top of the hill. The lady upstairs was quiet, we could hear her once in awhile and that was OK. It was a good location for us as we visited several places in that area. I would give it 5 star rating if the furniture would have been in better condition. We will see what next year brings and maybe we will come back. Thanks so much, Bonnie Wasserburger

Excellent property, just a little out of the way
We thoroughly enjoyed the stay here. The property was amazing. The property manager was responsive, helpful and very friendly. It is a little out of the way, but that is a good thing. There are two things that may or may not impact your decision to stay here (I hope not). Forst, the GPS address is different than the actual address. This can make it just a bit difficult to find, but the check in directions will lead you right there. Second, there is reliable internet, and it is the fastest that Black Canyon City offers, which is not very fast. WiFi is reliable, whick is within property control, but SLOW (which is not within property control). Property has the highest tier of internet speed available in this city. Great location north of Phoenix. Far enough enpough away to avoid the bustle of the city, close enough for a comfortable drive in to the city. Night sky view is amazing. If this fits what you are looking for, do not miss it!

We have never stayed in that area of Arizona, Always stayed in Saddlebrooke outside of Tucson. This property was a nice surprise, clean and located for everything we wanted to do. They even put up an extra bed when I asked if my daughter could visit from Colorado.! Certainly a great rental! Very Clean and a quiet place to be.. Thank you so much!!

Great location for day trips!
This was a wonderful property. This is one of the cleanest houses I have stayed in. Very private and plenty of room. Garage parking for one car is a plus for the desert heat. The owner lives upstairs but we never heard a peep from her. Her daughter Nancy was our contact person and we met her shortly after we checked in, she was stopping to pick her mom up for bible study. She was very nice and made sure everything was perfect for us. There is a full kitchen with quality utensils and appliances. Her husband left us some of his favorite coffee beans and my sister said the coffee was delicious. This is a good place if you plan on taking day trips. It is less than one hour to metro Phoenix and a little over an hour to Sedona , Prescott, Jerome, and Cottonwood. South rim of Grand Canyon is about 2 1/2 hours. Grand Canyon Caverns and Seligman on old Route 66 is a little over 2 hours. Salt River Wild horses can be seen 2 1/2 hours to the southeast. Lake Pleasant is less than 1 hour away and has breathtaking views. It is located in a small community outside the hustle and bustle of the big city. Not many stores in town but Anthem is 30 minutes south and has shopping including Walmart , an outlet mall and many restaurants . If you are planning a trip to this part of Arizona I highly recommend staying here.

Great location hill side, quite, private, wonderful owners, vista of stars w/o light pollution, great community and local foods, Nora’s especially. Close to great sites! Web is slow , but works. Clean and well kept. Closed garage is nice. All appliances work. Great for relaxation and privacy. A huge deal - recommend it highly!

Our host, Nancy kept us informed via email of everything we needed to know to get ourselves settled into the apartment, including the nice touch of providing us with a bag of special coffee beans to have freshly ground coffee every morning! The apartment was more than enough room for our party of three occupants. We spent out time by taking in some ballgames in Phoenix a 45 minute to 1 hour travel time or heading north to the Grand Canyon which was around a 3 hour trip unless you take in some of the sights along the way, Sedona road tour or Williams AZ, so a perfect location for doing those trips. The place was very clean and only minor inconveniences like using only 1 shower at a time to attain water pressure but they left a note to inform you about that. The guest bedroom bed was a little short with a foot board on the end preventing one to completely stretching out. We loved the place and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for that type of vacation!

Great value for money
This apartment is spacious, well equipped, comfortable and sparkling clean! If its location 40 miles north of Phoenix suits you, you cannot go wrong with this rental. We certainly would return. In addition, if you like to read, all the comfortable chairs have great lighting - something we have found to be quite rare.
