Welcome to Zula Dreams!

Our house address is: 70 Pompano St, Destin FL 32541

Our beautiful Zula Dreams Beach house has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths and sleeps up to 16 guests (with queen sleeper in the living room) plus a pack n’ play crib (optional).

The beach is literally steps away from our house. We are the 3rd house from the beach access so it’s not even 1min walk to Pompano public beach access.

No Age limit, We welcome any responsible group (Damage Deposit required if under 25yr - see below).

Well behaved dogs are welcome with $150 pet fee for the first 2 pets. If you plan to bring more than 2 please let us know (additional fee apply).

We have a beautiful private pool in our large fenced yard for those times you need a break from the beach. Pool can be heated for $50/night. Pool heating fee paid separately after you book. We can not offer partial stay heating. We can heat the pool up to 88f. Chaise Lounges, hammock, pool floats and a 5 burner gas grill for great cookouts are also provided.

Upstairs Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utilities, blender, toaster, coffee maker and more, ready to prepare yummy meals with a large dining area and breakfast bar seating.

A large Florida room with a kitchenette and a bathroom watching over the pool so you don't even have to go into the house for refreshments or a quick break.

65” HD TV and sound system in the living room and Smart HD TV’s in all bedrooms & Florida room.

Ready to play? PlayStation 4 is available for your enjoyment. Don't forget to pack your favorite games and blu-rays for some downtime at the house.

The kitchen, living room, dining room, large deck, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom are all in the SECOND level of the house. In the ground level (where you enter the house) there are 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, Florida room near the pool with a kitchenette (small fridge, microwave).

The house is located in a residential neighborhood and quiet hours of 10pm-7am are strictly enforced.

If no one in your group is 21yr we do not allow alcohol on the property.

I’ll start by saying the owners were very kind and responsive; however, we were extremely disappointed with the actual property and our stay. The property looks nothing like the photos as advertised. The entire house was covered in random hair, dirt, and stains. I took photos upon arrival hoping to be able to share them, but am unable to do so on this post. We chose this house for the location and beautiful backyard which ended up being filthy and nonfunctional. The pool was dingy, the patio furniture was broken and rusted, and the lights surrounding the yard as well as in the pool did not work. We didn’t attempt to grill or cook in the home because it just felt unsanitary. The walls were covered in stains, markings, and appeared warped. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and made it impossible to get a good nights rest, none of the televisions worked properly, the gaming system only had one controller that worked the other appeared to be cut or broken, the showers had a one pump soap dispenser in it I’m assuming was meant to be the complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash; however looked like dish soap so we didn’t use that. The “office” space was a desk in front of the washer and dryer near the entry door. The front door lock downstairs was not lined up correctly making it extremely difficult to lock and unlock. To top it off we were greeted the first night in our bedroom by a very large roach! So NO thank you! Next time.. Same cost for Henderson Beach Resort!

Our recent stay

When we tried to use the pool, we opened the door to the pool room which set off the fire alarms creating yelping pups and screaming babies! We tried to turn on the A/C in the pool room to stop the alarms but it went on and on and on for about 35 minutes. My husband discovered that the AC wasn’t working because the filter was filthy. Because of the chaos this created, he just cleaned it himself instead of waiting as we had no idea how long it would take maintenance to get there. Needless to say he was not happy doing this on his vacation. That was the worst thing that happened though. There was plenty of trash bags which we appreciated but I feel as though Zulu Dreams could have been a bit more generous with dish soap and TP. The beds were cozy and clean as well as the bathrooms. The kitchen had plenty of pots pans and dishes etc.The deck and seating along with the ability to separate when needed was amazing!!! Being a property manager myself, I am a bit more critical because I want those 5 stars consistently. With that said, the living room furniture and area rug are in dire need of a hard deep cleaning. I could tolerate it, but would not let my crawling grandbabies use either

Family vacation/ wedding event.

House was in a perfect location. The only thing i would suggestion. Is to update the outdoor furniture. Very old and worn out. But other than that a veey nice home. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beach home.

Alright stay

Well at first glance it’s just as the pictures looked. Once inside we found not all tvs worked, whoever cleaned have cleaned as the stove and refrigerator were dirty. The beds are very uncomfortable and squeak, there was hair all in the bathroom along the toilet and floor even in shower. This place was very unkept and and not comfortable at all. I even called about the tvs not working even though the owner offered to send someone there why would I want to have to deal with someone on my vacation. The nicest about the place was the pool. For such a hefty cleaning fee you would think it would be cleaner.

Great location!

This home is super close to the beach and in a cute neighborhood. The house felt very spacious and had more than enough sleeping areas for 12 adults. The pool was very nice. The house could use a bit of repairs but overall it still worked for us. The backyard was slightly run down with most of the lounge chairs being weathered and not functional. The big picnic table by the pool was awesome.

Family Fun!!

Nice home less than a block from beach. Great for families, in a safe neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes ( we have stayed in many vacation homes this one has more than enough dinner ware for large family). Make up wipes, body wash, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent etc was such a nice touch! There’s plenty of chairs,umbrellas,sand toys etc if you forget yours. Would definitely stay in one of The Zula properties in the future.

This rental was just as described.

We had 3 families in this rental and it was a perfect fit. The rental was just as described. The location was perfect, near grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and the beach. The heated pool kept us warm during colder weather for the first part of our vacation. The service was perfect and we received helpful reminders throughout the week. Thank you for being great hosts!

The perfect getaway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed here with a group of 16 adults 21-23 and everyone absolutely loved it. The location is beyond amazing (a short distance to restaurants/shops, and a block from the beach). The backyard was our favorite part and the all-seasons room was great for hanging out at night and during the day when it was raining. The grill and kitchen were great and the pool heating was awesome. The backyard was also very private and perfectly sized. For 16 adults, it was a tight squeeze but very doable. Every single one of us would love to go back!

Great Trip!

Great communication and quick response from owners. House is very close to the beach. Clean and well stocked. Comfy beds. Plenty of towels and wash cloths. Backyard is PERFECT!! We spent most of our time there instead of the beach. We will def. recommend this home to others and would stay there again!

Zula is the place to be!!

The property was in a great location. It is well appointed. Four bedrooms, one is a bunk room. Plenty of seating available indoors and outdoors. My favorite part of this house is the sunroom and outdoor pool area. It was extremely relaxing and laid back. I will let people know that the main kitchen and living area are on the second floor so this may not be the best option for people who can’t do steps. Will definitely book property again.

Destin- beautiful beach

We rented this property with 3 other families and enjoyed our stay. The beach was a minute walk and it was so clean. The only down side is the Pool access was through the bunk bedroom. There was not a single entry to getting to the Pool, other than through that room. You could access the Pool by going outside and around the house but that wasn’t too appealing for younger children. Also, there are 2 rooms up stairs and 2 downstairs which is fine but the kitchen was upstairs. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and would book again! We loved the private Pool and the lights on the backyard were beautiful. Our families loved the stay!

My family and I had a good time. It was nice to have the pool available. Pet friendly was a plus. The walk to the beach was manageable for all except the old lady. The main living area (kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms) was on the second floor and the stairs were a bit of a challenge for the elderly. Some cosmetic fixes are needed. Contact with the owners and the property manager was friendly and timely.

Great home and very close to the beach!

I rented this home in June of 2020 with some of my girl friends (there were 10 of us in total). The house was in a great location and very close to the Destin Commons (shopping) and also a short walk to the beach. The pool was also very clean and enjoyable. We enjoyed eating out meals outside on the multi decks and overall had a great experience renting this home. We look forward to returning and would definitely recommend to future guests!

Zula Dreams House

I think the bathroom upstairs could have the tub recaucked.There was some black mold. Some painting on walls and vents cleaner. I cleaned the ceiling fan in the living room it was full of dust. There were no pot holders in the kitchen. The hammack was broke.

Great time at Zula Dreams

We had our third family vacation in Destin, this time at Zula Dreams. The location is excellent, less than a block from the beach, and near everything. The owner responded very quickly to a few requests we had for help and provided prompt assistance. We were able to accommodate our group of 16 very comfortably in the house. The handicap accessible bathroom, next to the pool, was particularly useful for one of our family members. The kids loved the pool and gaming consoles. We wish we could have more time to enjoy all the streaming services available. The views from the upper deck is great. Seeing the sunsets from there is unforgettable. If anything, the grounds need a little bit more care to improve appeal, and the beach gear, although functional, may need to be replaced soon, since they are getting a bit old. If you are looking for a place close to the spectacular crystal beach to accommodate a large group at an affordable price, we recommend Zulla Dreams for your next Destin vacation.

Beach access and pool made for fun in the sun!

The owner of this property was extremely responsive to concerns we had and we appreciated it very much. The house is cute and homey! Really close to the beach and we LOVED having a kitchen and bathroom right by the pool. Our main concern that we're sure people with kids would like to know: the kids room is connected to the pool room by a door so you have to walk through the kids bedroom to get to the pool. The door from the pool room to the pool locks and the door from the kids room to the pool room locks. there was a chain lock on the upper part of the door leading from the kids room to the pool room. So that took away the fear of the toddlers getting out to the pool but then we had to trust that the preteens would stay put and not go out there without us. Overall it was a very nice, relaxing stay!
