Cozy, two bedroom, one bath, in town get away! One bedroom with king size bed. Second bedroom has a set of twin beds. Living room sofa has a queen, pull out bed with a modern inflatable mattress. All new linens. Internet/WIFI /Cable/ Smart TV and blow dryer. Full kitchen with dishes, pans, baking items, mixer, blender, utensils and plastic ware for outdoor dining. Also has new washer and dryer and ironing board/iron . Screened in, furnished, front porch. Gas grill and patio set for six. Large backyard with fire pit. Beach canopy, Beach towels, beach chairs, bikes/ helmets and a rolling cooler. Very clean baby items: unisex stroller, Pack and Play and a high chair. Weekend wedding guest and mini family vacay

The cottage is absolutely adorable. It worked perfectly for our weekend needs. The back yard is so big and they have many amenities so we did not have to pack so many items to bring. Our infant slept in the pack and play and we used the stroller as well. Our daughter lived "collecting sticks" for our fire pit and s'mores activity. The beds were comfy and the home was clean.

The PERFECT place to relax!

This cozy little cottage is quaint, full of character and has everything you could need during your stay! Beds are comfy, the kitchen is fully equipped, beach chairs and towels available, bikes, firepit....I could go on and on! It's location couldn't be nicer...quiet side street and close to everything. Definitely on my list of places to stay at again!

Love this cozy cottage

We came for a wedding and this was the perfect place to stay! The house was so clean and cozy. Bridget was very sweet and offered lots of great amenities with the rental. It was close to the wedding venue and downtown Charlevoix/the beach. We spent so much time enjoying the porch and hope to come back again soon!

Fall getaway

We enjoyed our stay.The house is very close to downtown ,with a parking lot nearby.The house was clean and cozy.The owners were very responsive when we messaged them.There were pamphlets with different sites to visit.The owners left a note and they had a notebook with valuable information. We visited downtown Petoskey ,lots of shops and restaurants.Pictured rocks boat cruise was amazing.

My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with this cottage. Super clean. They provided everything we needed and we still had plenty of space for the two of us and all our things. The location was perfect. We took many bike rides around town. We hope to be back again. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Bucket list material

Cottage was comfortable, welcoming and a perfectly placed. Trust us you want to be on this side of the draw bridge. In walking distance of downtown shops and eateries. Checked one off the bucket list taking the time to visit Mackinac Island for the day. Which did not disappoint… Baby Sister was married at a beautiful Mushroom house. Charlevoix for the WIN!

Convenient, clean and quiet cottage perfect for a small family

This cottage had everything we needed for a week stay in Charlevoix with the family. Having access to bikes and beach chairs and towels was a bonus. I stayed with my two teenage kids and 79 year old mom. Wish it was a bit closer to downtown but still walkable. Easy to drive my mom and find parking in a public lot with no issues.

Great up north getaway

My husband, myself and our 20 month old daughter stayed in this cute cottage over Memorial Day weekend. It was perfect for the three of us and had everything we needed. Bridget even has an extra stroller, pack n play and high chair if you don’t want to pack yours for the trip! That definitely saved us space not having to bring the high chair and stroller. I really liked the layout of the cottage for sleeping as well, the bedrooms are attached by a bathroom so that was really nice having our little one extra close. Downtown Charlevoix is definitely walking distance from the cottage and also on the street corner of the cottage is a really good ice cream and food place. We visited Lake Michigan and lake Charlevoix. Lake Charlevoix was our favorite, so secluded and nice playground area and rocks on the beach to look through. We had a great stay at this cottage and if you’re looking for one that’s friendly to babies/toddlers, this one is perfect! Thank you Bridget!

Awesome Trip to Charlevoix

This was a great place to stay, super cute, close to the beautiful beach and downtown. Bridgette was great to work with and if staying in Charlevoix again, we will surely be return renters!!

A Great place for a relaxing week in Charlevoix

We were extremely pleased with this rental house during our first time to vacation in Charlevoix. The location is within walking distance of restaurants, stores and bars, clustered around the beautiful harbor, but on a quiet residential street that doesn't feel 'touristy' at all. The house was very clean, tidy and nicely decorated with a very comfortable queen bed, and nice sofas and recliners in the living room for reading. (We didn't use the bedroom with the bunk beds, but it looked very nice.) The kitchen, which we used every day, was well equipped. (You can get fresh fish at the retail outlet for the John Cross fisheries just a few blocks away every morning, and have delicious fresh water fish for dinner every evening.) The owners responded immediately to two very minor maintenance issues, and were very helpful in many ways, including furnishing a bike pump so we could use the bikes stored in the shed. We would definitely return to this house on our next trip to Charlevoix.

Fabulous!

This charming cottage is in the heart of downtown Charlevoix. It is clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Perks include a washer and dryer and bikes that guests can use if needed. We walked and biked everywhere! The hosts are amazing and very accessible. I highly recommend this cottage for five guests or less.

Beautiful cottage with all the essentials, 2 blocks walking distance to downtown Charlevoix

Our family was very comfortable during our stay in this beautiful cottage. It was very clean and accommodated all our needs. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, including children friendly plastic dishware. We very much enjoyed the grill and made use of the fire pit. Even though the cottage does not have AC, the temperature was easy to control (our stay was at the end of June, outside temperature varied 64-75F during day and 50s during night) with blinds, easy to open windows in each room (each room had available fans but we did not need them). We also loved the fact that there was a shed in the backyard with 6 different size bikes, lawn chairs, cooler and various outdoor toys. The owner was easy to reach and very helpful. We are looking forward to many more stays at this cozy cottage in the future.

A cute home within walking distance from the lake and downtown Charlevoix.

My family and I (five adults) stayed here for a week and had a lovey time. The large backyard with fire pit and gas grill were was definitely a plus! The home was just off a main street and within minutes walking to the harbor and Charlevoix's beaches. Thanks so much for the calm stay and relaxing vacation!

Cottage on Wood St

The house is well maintained and the added conveniences are very nice as well (grill, fire pit, & washer and dryer). It's a great location as you are a short drive to many famous Michigan travel spots (Petosky, Leland [Fishtown] and Mackinaw Island). My only recommendation would be for the owner to have more comfortable beds. The king bed was comfortable, but both the twin beds and the pull out couch mattress were very uncomfortable. Perhaps if it was only two adults and a few kids this wouldn't be an issue, but we planned to sleep on the bunk beds (I'm 30) and it was so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep! The pull out couch was slightly better because there was a foam egg crate topper.

Absolutely perfect property!

My family and I stayed at the cottage in August of 2016. The owner, Bridget, was absolutely wonderful to work with and the property is so charming. The location is ideal - You can walk anywhere in a matter of minutes including shopping, dining, beaches, boat launches, etc. Thanks to Bridget and the cottage we had a perfect experience and will certainly stay here again in the future.

Everything you need in a great location!

We loved our stay at Bridget's Cottage on Wood Street for our family of 5. It is located very close to town with easy access to everything. Bridget has put lots of care in decorating it to give it a lake house feel. The kitchen has everything you need to make great meals. She had all the supplies to do the dishes. We had dinners out in the large backyard (there is even a bbq) and did lots of bike rides with the bikes in the shed. Bridget is so helpful with tons of local insight. Charlevoix is by far our favorite town and we went all over. The beaches there are great. Our favorite was Fisherman's Island - felt like we were in the Caribbean. We also highly recommend driving down to Torch Lake 35 minutes away and renting a boat - the lake is gorgeous with clear turquoise waters and warmer than Lake Michigan. It's an easy hour trip to Mackinac Island Ferry and we highly recommend renting bikes and riding the 8 miles around the island. There is so much to do and see in the area and this house was the perfect cozy house to do it from. We always loved coming home to our cute cottage at night.

Great time in Charlevoix

My family had one of the best vacations we've ever had, thanks to Bridget and to Charlevoix. The house was great --clean and quiet. It was an easy walk to town. Bridget recommended good restaurants when we asked her and while it was a low-key vacation, there was a lot to do. We went to a band concert by the marina one night, we visited Petoskey and Macinac, toured the mushroom houses, shopped at the little boutiques, spent beach time at Lake Charlevoix. We also had ice cream every night at the Dairy Grille. We're really hoping to visit again soon. It was a great week.

We moved to Charlevoix twenty two years ago. We love being surrounded by God's beauty. We have always wanted to purchase a small rental to allow others to experience everything Charlevoix has to offer. We just purchased a second rental directly behind this listing. Working on a remodel at this time!

Our renters seem to enjoy our proximity to town and the beach. They also love the backyard, bikes, grill, and fire pit. We manage our home and live in this town. We try to put a personal touch on our property by meeting each of our renters and being available to them during their stay.
