Presented by Luxury Beach Rentals, "Under The Sea" is a stunning 8 bedroom, 7 bathroom professionally decorated home which features a large salt water pool, hot tub and grill area with plenty of seating and lounging. Enjoy the gorgeous ocean views from the large back porch, with comfortable chairs and dinning table.

Other features include a fully equipped kitchen, two sets of washers and dryers, commercial ice maker for your beach coolers, flat screen TV's throughout the house and an extra refrigerator is in the garage for drinks and meats. The huge dinning room table seats 12 with another 5 seats and the kitchen island.

This is a prime location, right in the heart of Myrtle Beach’s prestigious “Golden Mile.” Close to shopping, dining, golf, entertainment and theaters but in a quiet residential neighborhood.

Large family vacation and celebration

A wonderful vacation stay for our large adult family of 21 ages 19 to 80. With no small children and all the grandchildren are not married, we made the sleeping arrangements work. Beautifully furnished and the covered back deck was the best feature for us. Only negative was the hot tub which was spa tub-did not heat >87(paid for it) but management reimbursed us. Great stay.

Great Location

Wonderful location on the beach. The set-up of the house was perfect for our group of 16. Beds were comfortable. I had to text the property manager a couple of times, and she was always quick to respond. A few minor things that would make the property even better: 1) house could use a deep cleaning, 2) a few newer pots and pans are needed, 3) it would be nice if the hot tub was included in the price of the rental. Overall, we loved it and are considering renting it again in the future.

Family vacation

We were very pleased with this beach rental. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed as well as the chairs and toys for the beach. The Ice machine in the garage is a game changer and the pool held all of us with floats with no problem. Any issues were dealt with by the owner immediately. The only improvement we can say may be a window air conditioner for the bedroom near the garage that gets hot at night.

Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our our 2 families & some friends! The pool was messed up when we 1st arrived but we told them & it was fixed same day! Always a quick response on any questions we had! Great location to stay! We enjoyed our stay very much! We hope to stay here again!

Under the Sea is Over the Top

We have stayed in four different beachfront houses and this was definitely the best. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have experienced. The house was clean and we loved how close we were to the beach. The pool is large and that was a great break from the ocean. Also, management was very responsive when we had a question or wanted to add something like turning on the heat to the hot tub. I would highly recommend Under The Sea to anyone who needs a house of this size.

The best Myrtle Beach vacation ever!

We had 19 people in our party, and thoroughly enjoyed this house! It was beyond what is described in the pictures! And very spacious! Large kitchen, updated appliances, and well stocked kitchenware! Beds were comfortable, and plenty of them! Pool was fantastic, and plenty of seating! Loved the deck, with its carpeted floor for the little ones, lots of seating and great view! We sat out on the deck a lot, perfect for our large family! I can't say enough nice things about it! Plan to look into booking it again for next year!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location & layout for our family! Definitely needs to upgrade on mattresses & sheets (needs new mattresses & oversize sheets that fit)on the main level of the home! The WiFi needs a boost for the 22 people that can stay in this home, we did not have it for the 15 that was there during our stay. No WiFi in the bottom portion of the home & that's where all of our young adults hung out! Pool furniture needs upgrading as well! Price goes up each year but quality definitely went down this year!

50th Birthday

This was for my 50th birthday that is in October, we had such a wonderful time the pool area is amazing and we spent most of our time there the decor was beautiful in all the rooms, i liked the corkiness of the lay out of the house and how the bedrooms were, my only thing is i wish in the description that the bottem bedroom it said how it was laid out other than that was perfect and that truly wasn't an issue, the location was great ( i usually stay in surfside area) kitchen was well equipment, we definitely talked of staying next year

Wonderful Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental experience was great! Luxury Beach Rentals was responsive to our questions and did an excellent job. The house was perfect! My only comment would be the pool although clear, clean and serviced appropriately did have broken glass tiles along the sides. These broken tiles could potentially cut a swimmer if the swimmer rubbed up against the tiles. But all in all the entire property was wonderful.

Great Location, Great House, Great Pool

The highlight is the very comfortable covered porch with a great view of the beach and plenty of seating along with the very inviting pool. Access to the beach was easy with the very short walk. Nice to have the shower and foot cleaner as you come back to the beach to keep sand from getting to the pool and house. The location is in between all the big hotels so the beach isn't overly crowded even on the 4th of July. The house is well appointed with a great kitchen and big dinning table. The layout is a little strange but going in and out side to get to some of the rooms was really no problem since the weather is so warm in the summer. It's a pleasure to head outside. Only thing I'd like to have had that wasn't there were some games for the kids and a griddle but there were plenty of jelly roll pans and saucepans to make anything work. Thank you for a great stay!

Overall a good house and spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house, rooms, and setup was perfect for our stay with 6 adults and 3 kids. We had 2 rooms that we didn't even end up using. The location was ideal and driveway space was great for the kids too. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed and more.The beach access was great. The property rental agency was very communicative and responsive with our issues when they arose. Cons: Had to buy and fill a propane tank since the 3 near the grill were empty, the area near the grill had a bunch of deflated pool toys (aka trash) and the grill hadn't been cleaned in a while, the wifi did not reach to the basement so no one could work remotely down there, the TVs in the bedrooms were unable to be used since we couldn't figure them out, the pool and hot tub had chipping tiles and cement glaze at the bottom. Also, the walls of the pool area had very large chipping pieces on it. Some of the cons were not what I was expecting for the price it cost to rent this property.

Awesome Rental!

We had a multi-gen reunion and couldn't have been happier with this rental. The proximity to the beach made it so enjoyable too. The pool & hot tub were marvelous. Lots of chairs and lounges too. The kitchen is SO well equipped and with top quality products. The description didn't mention the 2nd refrigerator in the garage & the industrial type ice maker so those two additions were huge! The TV in the front room wasn't working. I called on a Sunday requesting someone swing by on Monday to fix and a maintenance person came by that day! Great property management service!

Two surprises though...the one bedroom listed as having two twin beds and a bathroom is only accessible from outside the front of the house (attached to the garage) and the bathroom can hardly be considered a bathroom. Fortunately, we had two teenaged boys staying in there who weren't that concerned about it. I would never put anyone under the age of 16 out there for safety reasons as there is no connection to the house, nor is there air conditioning. The downstairs bedrooms were beautiful but were also not connected to the inside of the main house. Each had a door only to the outside with a code to get in each room. Other than the quirks of the set up of the house, everything else was amazing. Pool was fantastic, patio overlooking the ocean. We would definitely go back!

Beds were slightly rearranged from listing (trundle bed was located adjacent to the second king bedroom), but images were otherwise accurate. Wonderful areas both inside and outside for large groups. Aside from a couple gaps (which we blocked with chairs), railings on the deck were close enough to keep a toddler from squeezing through. Hot tub was well heated but difficult to enter, exit, and lean back in due to the shape of the brick around the edge (no handrails present). Hot tub heat was deactivated one day early on our last day. Calling the help desk resulted in it being reactivated silently within an hour. Doors blocked sound well, heard minimal noise from other occupants. Beds were comfortable. Grill propane cans were not refilled during visit despite being told that they would be. One door lock downstairs was nonfunctional upon arriving. Maintenance arrived after a few hours to fix it. Open-top trash cans located in garage were not picked up by waste services, despite instructions to leave them by the curb. Beach access was ideal. Rental umbrellas and chairs directly on the beach were expensive; we opted to purchase our own. Two of the beach chairs provided by the property were in disrepair with sharp, exposed metal. We did not use those chairs. Wi-fi speeds were very slow. Massive fridge and dining room table, well-equipped kitchen & wonderful stovetop. Altogether a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation rental, particularly for those who want lots of beach time.

Positives of the home - view of the ocean is amazing. Huge back deck w/ plenty of seating. Size of house was plenty big for 12 of us. It advertises sleeps 22 but not sure that would make for a comfortable stay given the layout. Kitchen is large and recently remodeled and is stocked with anything you might need. Negatives - the house is old and has a musty smell. There were several rooms that were a bit dirty, floors upswept., some decorative pillows had blood stains on them and bed pillows have seen better days. Very thin and with drool marks. Pool and 'hot' tub do not come heated so I purchased heat and it wasn't heated when we arrived. Mgmt company showed up within 2 hours of my call to turn on the heat and told me they'd credit me $190.00. When I called the management company about the above they indicated they would credit me (04/05/2023) $110.00. I've not yet seen the credit but will give it a few more days. They did indicate they would report my concerns to the cleaning company. Make sure you understand the layout of the house. Several rooms are only accessible from the outside of the house or from the pool deck. Not really an issue for us but it could be with a family with small children or teens. If bringing a large party be prepared to share rooms as several rooms have 2-3 beds in them. Pool is in need of a serious renovation. None of the above ruined our vacation but for $6800 for 5 nights I expected a bit better.
