Up to 8 guests will enjoy instant access to boating, fishing, and more on Lily Lake, located steps from the property's front door. Continue to enjoy nature's beauty from around the outdoor fire pit - where stargazing and s'mores-making are highly encouraged!

-- THE PROPERTY --

Bedroom 1: Full Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Bedroom 3: Full Bed | Bedroom 4: Queen Bed

Built in 1933, this unique stone cottage has been fully renovated to meet all of your traveler's needs - while still maintaining its original old-world charm. You'll find all of the comforts of home throughout the 2,500-square-foot interior, but possibly more important, are the breathtaking Lily Lake views visible from almost every room in the house - especially the enclosed sunroom, that can be enjoyed annually.

There's plenty of space for everyone to spread out and make themselves comfortable! The living room features plush furnishings, tasteful decor, and a flat-screen TV with basic channels. Real excitement lies in the downstairs recreation area - where you can challenge your fellow guests to a game of ping pong, or free throw basketball. The provided 2 kayaks and canoe are also located here!

After a day on the lake, there's nothing better than a warm home-cooked meal! Easily prepare all of your favorite and new dishes alike in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with granite countertops, an antique Kelvinator electric stove, and plenty of cookware and utensils. Once everything is ready, gather at the modern-yet-rustic 8-person dining table to savor your culinary creation. More seating is available in the cozy breakfast nook!

End the day on a sweet note, with s'mores and stargazing around the outdoor fire pit! Follow your time outdoors with a cleansing shower in the first-floor full bathroom or treat yourself to a lavish bubble bath in the master bath's clawfoot tub. Beds ranging from full to queen will be waiting to provide peaceful night's sleep for everyone!

-- THE LOCATION --

Nestled between the Endless and Pocono Mountains, Lily Lake provides ample opportunity for boating and swimming, along with fishing - seeing that it is stocked yearly with bass and trout! The anglers of your group are sure to love the home's lakefront location. But for those who prefer land over water, you'll find plenty of other outdoor activities close by!

Hiking, mountain biking, and geocaching can all be found within less than an hour of the home. Nescopeck State Park and Hickory Run State Park both feature miles and miles of well-maintained trails, along with additional chances for fishing. Hickory Run State Park even has great rock climbing in a field of boulders - for those feeling up to a challenge!

Come winter, adjust your plans to include chilly days well spent at Jack Frost Ski Resort or Big Boulder Ski Area, each located roughly 40 miles away. Additional ski resorts include Shawnee Moutain Ski Area and Camelback Mountain Resort. If downhill skiing isn't your forte, you might instead enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing.

No matter how you spend your day, you'll need to replenish your energy with a good meal! Cooking in the home's fully equipped kitchen is always an option, but when you're in the mood for a treat, check out Main Street Bar & Grill, Marty's Blue Room, or Ice House Pub. If you're up for a little drive, venture to Village Tavern, 25 minutes north, for fine American fare and a glass of wine.

Beautiful Location
The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking, not to mention the ease of access. We took advantage of the kayaks and canoe multiple times, enjoyed a fire one evening even though it was raining, and spent a day hiking nearby at Ricketts Glen. Couldn't have been a better spot for a getaway with friends.

We loved the place
Lovely cottage facing a picturesque lake. Even though neighbours' houses are close enough, the property layout gives privacy. Neighborhood is quiet and secluded. We enjoyed our short 3 night stay, hiking and/or kayaking by day and gathering around large table for tea or games by nights. Would do it again.

Secluded, serene and well-equipped
We had a great stay at this lakeside property, and even though it's in a small neighborhood it feels very private and we rarely came in contact with other people (and when we did they were very nice). Easy access to the lake, plenty of room to spread out for lawn games and a great firepit. House can get a little warm, but otherwise it was comfortable (and if there's anything you're picky about make sure to bring your own, you can only expect so much). Great communication with the host and all questions were answered quickly. Would recommend and would stay again!

Great, hidden away lake retreat
I came with my family and two young kids who loved it. Easy drive to a number of state parks in the area. Every day, we had a bonfire, fished, grilled, and used the canoes/kayaks (literally carried them a few feet across the street). It was so easy to spend time outdoors and lots of quality time with family. Linens, laundry, and lots of kitchen equipment made settling in simple. We do recommend getting groceries in Wilkes-Barre or nearby towns beforehand. Food and supplies are all about a 20-30 minute away in any direction.

The house was excellent. Great location and our family really enjoyed the games and boats that were included! If we are back in the area, no need to look anywhere else.
