This peaceful, spacious Fountain Hills 3 BR/2.5BA home has been recently renovated with continuous updates and improvements since our first happy guests in 2019. With breathtaking Mountain View’s in every direction, take your pick of three outdoor seating areas to kick back and relax. A covered back porch overlooks a sparkling pool and an acre of private land for gorgeous sunset views. Enjoy the covered breezeway for grilling, dining, or fire pit chats. In front, see Four Peaks Mountain and the Fountain of Fountain Hills, to the side…gorgeous sunset views of Fire Rock… and poolside, watch the sun set over McDowell Peak. A dark sky community, Fountain Hills ranks #20 in the US for star gazing.

This is our (very) part-time home that we've enjoyed sharing with dozens of happy (all 5-star!) guests for wonderful, peaceful, carefree family vacation stays. We've thought of everything to ensure that you can drop your bags and relax while enjoying the sunshine and fantastic views!

Fountain Hills is the closest you can be to the Scottsdale shopping, dining, and nightlife, while experiencing the natural beauty of Arizona. Nearby, choose one of several beautiful golf courses, stroll around the fountain in Fountain Hills park, or take easy day trips just north for Salt River tubing, boat rentals at beautiful Saguaro lake, horseback riding, ATV trails/rentals, or hiking in Tonto National Forest.

Best Vacation Home Ever!

We have been coming to Arizona for years now. This was by far our best rental we have ever had. Matt even went as far as to help us surprise my husband for his birthday on the day that we arrived. Accommodations are insanely clean and he has literally anything you might need to cook, clean or use. Also, everything is close to you: pizza, dinner out, breakfast, ice cream, coffee and hiking. The views are breathtaking and the neighborhood is so very quiet. The pool is perfect and you can stay on the porch and watch the kids so easily. If you like getting up and walking or running the neighborhood this is absolute perfection. I can’t say enough amazing things about Matt and his property. You have to book this! You won’t regret it.

Stunning views, peaceful, spacious, beautiful property, exceptional!!

We thoroughly enjoyed this exceptional property for 3 wonderful days! The beautiful pool & multiple outdoor spaces meant we spent lots of time outside in the fresh air, both in the sun & in the shade. The home is in a lovely neighborhood & we walked different directions everyday - amazing desert views! We were amazed by the beauty, the peacefulness, & the comfort & variety of seating options. The pool, the shaded deck, the breezeway… simply the best! The indoors is also great! Convenient & well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, inviting spaces, we loved it all. Matt has made this home perfect for VRBO renters! It’s spotlessly clean, has every conceivable thing you may need, & checkin & communication were a breeze. We are now staying at another property that a friend is renting & we are shocked at the contrast of what they DON’T have. We so appreciate the thought & care Matt has taken in making this home a renter’s delight. We felt very well cared for. We WILL be back!! Thank you Matt, for a wonderful stay!

Very Enjoyable Home

This property was lovely -- lots of windows and views, great pool/patio, and lots of covered spaces for reading and relaxing. The owner was wonderful -- he was very communicative and did all he could to ensure our stay was pleasant! The property is also very family-friendly -- with a Pack n Play, high chair, child rocker, and some kids' games on site. Note: all beds have Temprapedic mattresses.

Fantastic house with beautiful views

We had a great visit to see family in Arizona and enjoyed staying at Matt’s beautiful home in Fountain Hills. The house was clean and well equipped with everything. Communication with Matt was quick and easy. The views from every direction in the house are spectacular. My teenage kids also enjoyed the games and puzzles, which helped to really make it feel like home. Thank you, Matt for sharing your beautiful home with us. Even better than advertised

My family which includes two octogenarians, enjoyed the views, location, and comfort of this HOME. It was clean, cozy, and not much was expected of us to check in or out. You can even see the fountain from the front of the house. Only wish we would have used more of the many amenities, like the grills and pool. My grandmother is using a cane and had no problem getting around. We really enjoyed the balcony and backyard. We took scenic family pictures out there in the day and enjoyed some star gazing at night. Really appreciate the stay Matt and Sue, thank you.

Fountain Hills getaway

Absolutely love this property. Spacious home with pool and views in a quiet neighborhood. We felt like we were staying at a friend's home. Where to start.....well, communication with the host was clear and timely. We had no problems finding the house or accessing. This house has everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay; the kitchen lacks nothing if you care to cook at home- which we did. I only wish we could have stayed longer so I could have made a cake for us to enjoy- or cookies for that matter- both could have been baked easily. BBQ available and the pool was enjoyed by all. Late October brings nice warm days and cooler evenings. Every bedroom was comfortable with extra linens/towels/blankets/pillows if needed. We love the location. Close to the town of Fountain Hills but also a short drove to Scottsdale and Phoenix. TV, Peloton bike, games all available. I would say that this is a place will keep everyone happy. We will definitely be back and we wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks so much for opening your home to us; your hospitality was much appreciated.

Wonderful stay

The property is just as advertised. The views are even better in person. The accommodations had everything we needed. The location is great. It was very easy for us to get to Scottsdale and surrounding areas. Beautiful scenery along the way. It is a very nice city. Quiet and beautiful. Plenty of grocery stores, etc. We stayed at the start of the COVID-19 restrictions, but we were still able to golf and find what we needed. Having to stay put was not a problem as the house is very nice and the outdoor areas very private and breathtaking. I would highly recommend this home and we hope to stay again in the future. Matt was very easy to communicate with and we had a fantastic time!

As Listed, Did not Disappoint

We have been renting vacation homes through VRBO, Airbnb and local real estate agencies for 20 years. Sometimes one finds a place has not been kept up or perhaps the location not so great. So we do a lot of homework to find 'newer' or 'recently renovated' properties and look closely at maps. This property did not disappoint. The décor, cleanliness, amenities, peacefulness and communication with the owner all good, great even. We enjoyed this home immensely, and would stay again when in Fountain Hills.

I'm from New Jersey and fell in love with Fountain Hills when two daughters attended college here in the Phoenix area. Work relocation now puts me in Dallas but love spending extra time in FH to visit two of my three daughters and their families. The guests I've hosted through VRBO (now exclusively) have been a true pleasure to host. All gracious, respectful and give me great joy when they tell me how much they've enjoyed their time here. I truly enjoy helping guests make wonderful memories.

Why they chose this property

I've rented plenty of vacation properties with my own family and have a good idea of what families look forward to for a special vacation property; clean, convenient, relaxing...and no surprises. You'll get all that plus breathtaking views at my home and throughout Fountain Hills. Close enough to Scottsdale dining and shopping, but with Arizona mountains beauty and serenity. PS - April, May and first half of June are my favorite times in Fountain Hills, with ideal temperatures for sun and pool for you far-northerners eager to get winter behind you!

What makes this property unique

I don't treat my home as a "rental property" and don't see my guests as "renters". No personal effects in the home, but it's a HOME, not a "property". I work to keep it updated, bright, clean and comfortable. Wonderful, upscale cul-de-sac neighborhood with wonderful neighbors. I love when guests tell me what a wonderful time they've had there!
