Charming Cottage ** 3 Bedroom on the Water** Great Location With All the Bells and Whistles ***
** Tryon Equestrian Center** is a 15 min drive !!

Only 9 steps down to the Main Floor where the modern kitchen and living room with 55" inch Flat screen TV and dining area are located.The Boathouse deck is adjacent to the main floor which make for wonderful indoor outdoor living. Grill or just enjoy the lake and Mountain Views.

One of the few homes without neighbors and just a stone's throw away from Larkin's. Ingle's Grocery store is so close no need to worry if something is forgotten.

On the bottom floor are 3 bedrooms and the Bathroom. Bedroom one has a queen bed with lovely french doors which lead to a private deck with a dinette table for two over the water to enjoy your morning coffee. There is another dinette table along the side of the boathouse if you wish to admire the view down the main channel. Bedroom two has a queen bed with a spectacular view of the water with a private door to another deck.
The 3rd Bedroom has a set of bunk beds and a single twin. The bottom bunk is a double so this Adventure Room sleeps four.
The bathroom is also located on the bottom floor and also has a second door to the outside for easy entrance.

There is a sleeper sofa for 2 in the main living area.

The Hot Tub is large enough for 6 people to sit comfortably and is along the water; But privacy is somewhat provided being between the two boathouses!

Enjoy the lovely swing in the boathouse or just relax and read a spell in the hammock.

**WITH UNLIMITED USE OF THE PONTOON BOAT** Cruising the lake and enjoying Magnificent Sunsets will be highlights of your stay. Have dinner at one of many restaurants or pull up for coffee ALL BY BOAT!!

One of the favorite things to do is take the 2-man Kayak down the lake or just play by the house with the provided rafts, noodles and floats.

We had a wonderful time! The lake is amazing! The kids had a blast jumping off the boat house. Location of home is very close to town and all stores. We would definitely recommend Lake Lure to everyone!

February Fun
Coming from Asheville, I was able to make a last minute vacation for Lake Lure. Although it is winter and they had lowered the lake a bit we still had an amazing time! House was cute and had all the things we needed- especially the hot tub! Location to Chimney Rock and POI was perfect. There is the most comfy, snuggily bed I’ve ever slept in. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying this Vrbo and Lake Lure an again soon. Also, if you’re there and adventurous- check out the amazing family that does ATV tour/rentals called Boon Life Adventures. SO much fun!!!

Best Value on Lake Lure
This charming spotlight on the Lake was the perfect weekend getaway. From the beautiful decor, to the stunning lake front deck space and the convenience of the pontoon boat, giving us the full Lake experience, nothing could’ve made this trip better. With the homes convenient location, nestled between the LakeHouse restaurant and chimney rock, it was the ultimate location. The hosts were delightful, and their personalized tour of the home when we arrived was wonderful. Whether you have a family, a girls trip, or a romantic getaway planned, we highly recommend this one of a kind dream spot.

Outdoor Fun
This is a great place to hang out outside and have fun in the lake. We enjoyed sunsets, lunch and dinner on the boat, paddle boarding, kayaking, floating raft, hammock swing over the water and just sitting and watching the fish jump. Very close to Chimney Rock State Park for a challenging hike.

Fun House just needs some new linens
We enjoyed staying here. It was a really unique house. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. The deck was phenomenal and we had a blast using the boat. FYI the room with the bunk beds is off the deck in a separate building so requires walking out near the water. Not a room for young kids to sleep in. It would be perfect for teens. The only thing is it smelled of dog urine. The couches were shredded, the throw blankets/pillows had stains and smelled. One of the blankets had old stained blood on it. Just buy some new blankets, pillows, couch covers. Mike was extremely friendly when he met us there. We have stayed at many VRBOs so we did not need a full tour explanation of the remotes/light switches etc. Just an overview of the boat would have been appropriate. We did not need an hour long introduction. After travel we were starving and just ready to drop our stuff off and go to dinner. Also, he did not pay any attention to my husband and myself who were paying for this space. He was only addressing my father in law. Yes I look young but would have appreciated a little bit of respect and not put off.

For the location, amenities, and atmosphere, this place was awesome. The owner gave great suggestions on the location and was available and responsive to too of our questions. Perfect location in relation to what we needed access to including a restaurant you can take the boat over to or the grocery store a half mile away. This place has everything you need to stay a weekend or a week with the whole family.

Lakefront cottage
The owners will go out of their way to make you comfortable! The pontoon boat has a 50 hp motor, which is more than adequate. We had a blast!

This cottage could be perfect but could use a lot of TLC and upgrades. Great deck with mountain views. Convenient that boat is included. Location is Convenient to everything although on a busy road.

We wanted a getaway at the last minute and it was by pure luck this property was available for us. It was perfect! The location was great and beautiful! Having the boat and the decks and docks worked well for us. We took our dog with us and I could walk him across the road to get his daily exercise. Pretty furnishings that made it feel like vacation. Everything was provided, so we didn't need much. The grocery store, restaurants, activities were all close by. The owners greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour and answered any questions. Quite the hospitality!!

Spring Break
The location of this house right on the water is great and so convenient. There are so many outdoor gathering areas with multiple decks to choose from. We enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks, paddleboards, and of course the pontoon boat. We had such a great time!

We had the BEST time! Owner was extremely easy to contact and always available whenever we needed her. Everything was clean and the views from the deck are just unreal! Boat was so easy to use! We had everything we needed in the house. Would highly recommend!!

Great On Lake location.
We loved having the hot tub and access to a pontoon boat, although we only took it out twice. The location on the lake could not be beat! We use the kayaks a lot as the house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac if you will on the lake. The place was not the cleanest - couch cushions were stained and ripped, and there were a number of things that needed to be fixed, but we were renting at the end of the rental season so that is to be expected. The one negative was the fact that they only had one bathroom. So it was tight foe my family of five. Also my kids were not comfortable sleeping in the boat house as it is detached from the main house, so just be aware that the third bedroom is not under the same roof. It is an adorable room and could easily sleep three kids, if they were comfortable on their own. It even has a heater to keep them warm at night. The pontoon boat was easy to drive and park, and it was definitely awesome to get out on the water. Overall we had a awesome time and would highly recommend this place for a “glamping” vacation.

Fun Weekend Getaway
Great location with hiking, lake activities, and grocery store close. Enjoyed using the kayaks and boat...our kids were busy the entire time. Sitting on deck overlooking the lake was very relaxing. Ability to bring dog was a bonus! Tara was awesome and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Easy vacation
Tara was exceptional in her communication. The outside areas of this house are fantastic. We loved our time on the porch, in the water and around the water on the kayaks. We spent our entire week OUTSIDE because it was so relaxing and wonderful. Even our teenagers loved it, without having to force them!

Great place to stay with the kids and the dogs!
Tara and Mike were wonderful hosts and this house (and boat!) were such a blast with the family. The dogs were instantly comfortable and felt at home, and the kids thought the place was super unique and cozy. Having the boat was amazing for everyone. The only downside is being close to the road as far as the dogs are concerned, but it wasn't an issue as we just walked them to do their business. Easy access to the grocery made it easy to replace their coffee maker when we accidentally broke the carafe! Really lovely. Would stay here again for sure!

What makes this property unique

Perfect Gem! One of the few homes built over the water and without neighbors. Located on the Main Channel. Only 10 steps to the main floor and deck. 6 decks in all with beautiful vistas. *UNLIMITED USE OF PONTOON BOAT* So close to Larkin's you can swim over. Grocery store is also a stone's throw away.
