Welcome to the historical Duck Key. What was once an exclusive island for the rich and famous, including President Truman, is now available to you. Canal Front property located in sought after area of Duck Key. This fabulous home is a 4 bedroom 2 bath. Sleeps 9
The stairs of the home are on the exterior providing complete privacy between the two floors. The property sits on a very large lot.
Upstairs is a large deck perfect for outdoor evening dinners and morning coffee. We have full laundry facility on the property. There is a large heated or cooled pool as well as a hot tub. Downstairs we have a tiki bar as well as an outdoor dining area with a bbq and a smoker. This property is located on a deep water crystal clear canal, desirable for any kind of boating, fishing, or water activities of your choice. There are two bedrooms on each floor. There is room for boats up to 50 feet with 93 foot seawall. Parking is available for your boat trailer. Located on the property is a fish cleaning station as well as a bait freezer. We now have a large ice maker which produces 100lbs a day. The neighborhood is on the ocean side giving you quick access to offshore, the reef or a little island hopping. Pets are allowed. There is a marina with boat and jetski rentals as well as charter boats. This is a quiet safe neighborhood tucked away on the private and beautiful island of Duck Key. Our Keys vacation

A lovely home that fulfills all the requirements for a nice vacation. The owner was helpful and very accommodating. If your family desires a vacation in the Keys, we would recommend this property.

Month in Paradise

The house was perfect for me and my husband and our dog. Elena was a great host, always available and quick to respond. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal or make a cocktail! Extra towels for the pool! Beds upstairs are super comfortable, didn’t use the downstairs bedrooms. The dock was perfect for our 26ft panga and plenty of room on the property for our trailer. Can’t say enough and looking forward to next year!

Our 2022 Keys Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 week stay at a property that had everything you could need to relax and recover from the effects of life under Covid threat. The owner was wonderfully responsive to questions. Especially providing immediate local help to successfully resolve serious television issues caused by the prior guests. We appreciated her warm hospitality.

Amazing spot in the Florida Keys!

Perfect location and home for our 5 week vacation/online school and work COVID escape with 3 teens, 2 dogs and a boat. The pool, hot tub and space for boat were great. I’ve rented lots of properties, but never one with as well equipped kitchen and nice big grill too. Lots of towels, including beach towels. Huge washer and dryer and ice machine. The master bed is super comfy and the separate downstairs space (sleeps 4-5) was a great hangout spot for our teenage kids and the dogs. My favorite thing about this house though is the incredible outdoor space - decks surround and the yard is huge. Hard to leave!

Disappointed

We rented the house for the month of January, where do I start?? Walk into the house the kitchen was filthy I had to actually clean it myself!! The beds were so uncomfortable one was worse than the other. The downstairs bathroom was SO SMALL it was worse than a bathroom on a cruise ship then the shower head was never on the shower. The oven broke she said she was coming to buy another but never did. Then the grill wouldn’t get hot at all we tried cooking steaks the third night and it took every bit of an hour to cook steaks!!!! It was one thing after another. The kitchen table was way to big for the tiny area if you sat at the table no one could even walk past. The living room furniture was extremely uncomfortable. We thought it’s on duck key it has to be a nice place… WRONG!! there’s only one way to get from the rooms downstairs to the main area upstairs, you have to walk outside and go down the stairs if it’s raining and you’re ready for bed just expect to get a little wet. She has her boat trailer parked in the only place at the house you could park a trailer so if you have a boat I’d highly advise not to stay here, there’s no where to leave your trailer. Then the yard we were thinking we were gonna have 90ft of water frontage well she has a 30ft boat and a lift taking up most of it. The pool has a heater but it never gets warm. All the tiny rocks spill all over the walkway it was just a messy uncomfortable month!! I would strongly advise anyone to stay in a motel before staying here! What a major disappointment. The house next door is cheaper and 10X better.

Great rental on Duck Key!

We have been coming to the Keys for over 30 years and love Duck Key! We stayed at this property for the last 4 weeks and loved it! Great location and plenty of dock space for our 45 ft boat. We loved the pool area, its fenced in so perfect for our small dog. The pool had a chiller which was perfect for the super hot days! The home also had an ice machine and bait freezer which is essential for offshore fishing trips. Our two kids (9 and 12) had a great time! They loved riding their scooters around the neighborhood (very safe) and finding mangoes, coconuts, etc. They also loved looking off the dock at all the sea life in the water. We had two very minor issues while renting the property and the owner was very responsive and both were resolved. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking essentials and the home has plenty of linens and towels. We definitely would recommend this property if you are bringing a boat and have kids. We had a wonderful trip!

Great property on Duck Key!

Finished our month long vacation at this property and our stay couldn’t have been better. If anyone loves to fish the way we do, this property is a great location. Plenty of sea wall to accommodate our 30’ Grady and our flats boat. Elena kept us well informed and also provided some insights on fishing in the area as she is an experienced fisherman. She was always available for any questions we had and provided great info during our stay. Caught well over 100 mahi, a dozen blacking tuna, a wahoo, and various reef fish during our stay. Needles to say we ate a lot of fish. The kitchen was adequately supplied where we cooked nearly all of our meals. The table on the deck just outside the kitchen was a nice place to dine. The onsite ice machine and bait freezer were truly valuable assets during our stay. The canal behind the house was great entertainment at night as you can view a veritable aquarium. If you clean fish at the cleaning table, be ready to view all the awesome sealife that will show up including sharks, snapper, angel fish and tarpon to name a few. We actually hooked up on tarpon right off the dock seven times and were able to get three up to the dock for releases. Overall, our stay at this property was great fun and as expected. I would recommend this property to anyone.

This home was perfect for every need we could possibly want for our vacation. The location, accommodations, ice machine, freezer for bait, pool and peaceful view from balcony. What could anyone possible ask for more?

Home is comfortable with everything you need.

The rooms downstairs is not connected to the upstairs. Was great for us and our dogs. If you had several young children you might worry about the ones downstairs being close to the canal and pool without supervision. Two nice bedrooms upstairs sleep a couple and two kids.

Fantastic home in Beautiful Duck Key

I wish I could give this property higher than 5 stars. We had a fantastic time. The home was perfect for the stay. The girls stayed downstairs and my husband and I stayed upstairs. The home is really nice and updated. The pool was beautiful and my kids enjoyed it everyday along with the hot tub. My husband fished all day long. We live in Florida but absolutely adore the Florida Keys. We visited every time at this time of the year and this was the best place we have every stayed. I can't say enough. You will not be disappointed. Thanks to the owner as well for all the extras.

Pictures do not do it justice!

We loved this house so much we are bringing the whole family back in the spring for a family reunion. There is plenty of room for everyone. The yard is amazingly large and this is where we spent most of our time. Having a private pool and hot tub is special. Great boating access and plenty of room for a couple of boats to dock. The canal is super clear and clean. We saw the local manatee and so many fish right in the back yard. Fishing off the dock was pretty good too. Interior of house was super clean. Kitchen was fully loaded with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and a tv in every room not that we spent much time watching it. It was very nice to have a full laundry room on the property. There was plenty of parking for several cars and our boat trailers.The fire pit was a nice touch as well. The kids loved the turtle rescue and dolphin research center in Marathon which was really close by. Owner was super friendly and very accomodating to any requests we had. Thanks again ;)
