Lakeside living at its best! Jandals & Joy Lakefront Retreat, a 3 bedroom modern fully equipped home.

The outdoor area is all complete with a private beach, trampoline, 10 seater heated spa pool (glorious in winter), and fire pit- perfect for roasting marshmellows.

The Space:
Perfectly positioned to face the lake, the 3 bedroom home exudes a fresh charm thanks to the high ceilings and spectacular lake views which can be fully appreciated from the living area, and the master bedroom.

Scenic walks and the cycleway are through a gate or you might prefer to try your luck at one of the nearby world-class fishing spots.

Stroll down to the sandy shore where you can make sandcastles, swim or kayak (x 2) or standup paddle board (x2).

An outdoor deck area invites summer living and afternoon barbeques.

A massive entertainers SPA pool is heaps of fun, regardless of the season!

A single car internal garage is available for secure parking if needed. (Smaller cars only)

Ngongotaha is a town on the western shores of Lake Rotorua in New Zealand's North Island.

Ngongotaha is perfectly positioned 10 mins from Rotorua township and a few mins drive from Skyline Luge, Zorb and all the Rotorua attractions.

Guest Access:
Guests are welcome to use everything in the home including the 2 kayaks and 2 stand up paddle board .

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay including basic breakfast food and a nespresso coffee machine.

Getting Around:
You ideally need a car to travel easily around rotorua. Free parking in an internal garage on site (small cars only).

Other Things to Note:
Our home is next door (joined by garage only) however you have sole private use of your home.

The outdoor facilities are shared between 2 airbnbs and hence we ask that you only use each facility for maximum an hour to allow other guests to enjoy.

A very special stay -
What a great spot! Accommodation had everything we needed - clean and every minor detail was thought of. Comfy bed and modern surrounds made for an excellent stay. The views were sublime and location was perfect - out of the busy precincts - but close enough to come into town and eat out . Cannot recommend this stay highly enough

Great stay in a beautiful location
Excellent location with some great extras available like canoes for use. Very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Only a 10min drive into central Rotorua. The view was amazing and great space for kids to muck around on lawn. Lovely lakeside walk right on the doorstep. Communication with Aimee and Danny (hosts) was easy. Would definitely come back again!

Awesome spot!!
Absolutely lovely hosts who made everything so easy. The location is great and the view is gorgeous. The property is very comfortable with everything you need. We hope to come back again soon.

We stayed 2 nights. Loved the location. Beautiful view, a good place for family with kids and pets. Kayak and swing and the conservatory are the best. A great place to stay. Thoroughly enjoyed the private lake access. Nespresso was a treat. Recommend a oil heater in the double bedroom, otherwise a very highly recommended place to stay. So close to city.
